Pope Leo Visits Mosque, Removes Shoes, Calls for Muslim Terror State

That’s the one thing Christians in the Middle East need.

Wouldn’t it be nice if a pope stood up for Christians, instead of Muslims.

Instead, Pope Leo is following in the footsteps of Pope Francis by refusing to discuss Christian genocide in Africa, while remaining obsessed with importing Muslims into Christian countries and creating a Muslim terrorist state inside Israel.

Whom does that help? Certainly not Christians.

Driving that point home, Pope Leo has been visiting Muslim countries that were once Christian.

Pope Leo XIV has made his first visit to a mosque since his election, and while he removed his shoes as a sign of respect, he did not appear to pray.

On Saturday, Leo went to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, a 17th-century place of worship considered an Ottoman-era architectural masterpiece, with turquoise ceramic tiles adorning its walls and dome.

Leo, accompanied by local Muslim leaders, walked through the mosque’s courtyard and, after taking off his shoes, was shown around the interior in his white socks. The first American pope, who is a keen Chicago White Sox baseball fan, recently joked that he always wears “white socks.”

There was further confusion when the Vatican press office sent out a statement after the visit saying Leo had prayed at the mosque and that he had been welcomed by the head of Turkey’s state-run religious body, despite neither event occurring. The Vatican later said the statement, which referred to Leo observing “a brief moment of prayer,” had been sent in error and taken from the booklet produced before the trip.

Did he pray? Didn’t he pray? More relevantly, did he mention the status of the Islamic hijacking of the Hagia Sophia?

Pope Leo’s Muslim handlers certainly know the history of the Blue Mosque which was built to appeal to Allah after their failure to capture Vienna. Does Pope Leo? Past popes would have known Europe’s history of conflicts with Islam. I’m skeptical he does.

The irony hit harder when Pope Leo visited Lebanon: a formerly Christian state.

The Rev. Issam Ibrahim remembers when citrus orchards surrounded Mar Youssef Maronite church in the southern suburbs of this city, where generations of Catholic families celebrated baptisms, first communions, confession and confirmations.

Then, the transformation came.

Beginning with the Lebanese civil war, and the decades of conflict and economic strife that followed, the area south of Lebanon’s capital underwent sweeping demographic change. Amid violence perpetrated by all sides, the pews of Mar Youssef emptied as Christians left and Lebanese Shiites, a core base of support for Hezbollah, the sprawling political and military group, moved in.

Violence was “perpetrated by all sides”, yet the Christians fled and Islam took over.

And when parishioners enter the church hall, they’re greeted not only by a photo of Pope Leo XIV but also, through a window, by a giant mosaic of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hezbollah’s main sponsor.

As a result, during his three days in Lebanon, Leo is expected to echo a litany of previous popes who have delivered a singular message to Christians in the Middle East: Please stay. “The darker the hour, the more faith shines like the sun,” he said in an address ahead of his trip.

Stay for what? Does the Catholic Church have more meaningful support to offer than stay and stay silent about Muslim persecution?

Pope Leo has nothing to say about the Islamic persecution of Christians, but he did declare that “the Holy See, for many years, has publicly supported the proposal of a two-state solution. We all know that in this moment Israel still does not accept this solution, but we see it as the only solution that could offer a solution to a conflict that is continuously live”.

Because the one thing Christians in the Middle East (never mind Jews and everybody else) needs is another Muslim terrorist state.

If Pope Leo is going to call for a two-state solution anywhere, how about in Lebanon?

    Tried but failed to get links posted here including a muslima videoed supporting r@pe of infidels as a means of humiliating and subjugating them for the crime of not being muslims. Leo and every other supporter of islam should be required to address these teachings.

    • Islam views Spain as waqf land, because they conquered it once so it is now deemed by them to be consecrated to Allah, and they are very much in earnest about returning it to the Islamic fold.

As thousands of Christians losing their homes in Africa to Jihadist as many are killed ,their daughters and children raped by jihadist ,he is playing kiss the rug ? In a mosque in Turkey that is in the last 20 years more military Islamic ?Did he pray or not pray in the mosque in the tradition moon god pagan way to appease these supremist jihadist asking for a friend ? As millions of Moslems invade Europe making the natives miserable with their demands for free housing ,free food ,free run to harass the children and daughters of the native at will ,the jihadist are sucking up all the social safety net so nothing is left for the native poor ,ill ,disabled is this the Christian “spirt” the Pope believes in cultural suicide for Christians and the Christian faith? Would he ask or address these questions with this “educated” Iman giving a tour of conquer former Christian land and people? The trouble is the war with Islam never ended just now they use different tactics to keep conquering Christianity ,this appeasing Pope is still falling for the same craptrap Pope Francis fell for .

  7. There”s only been one Pope in recent years that had a proper understanding of islam and that’s Pope Benedict. Unlike his predecessor John Paul who kissed the quran, there is no way he would ever have done that. He described muhammad’s teachings as “evil and inhumane” which sparked riots and outrage within the muslim world. Yes, Pope Benedict understood islam.

    Before Jesus returned to heaven, He had a heartfelt discussion with Peter. Jesus asked, “Simon, do you love me?” When Peter said, “You know I love you, Lord,” Jesus responded, “Feed my sheep.” He repeated, “If you love me, feed my little sheep.”

    Jesus did not say feed my little sheep to the wolves. And Jesus said to all of His Apostles, “You are my friend if you observe my commandments.’ “If you love me, you will obey my commandments.”

    The creature who calls himself “Leo,” and purportedly sits in for Christ (what arrogance; what gall) supposedly takes the seat given to Peter (remember:: “Feed my little sheep) doesn’t give a hoot about Christ’s flock of little sheep.

    Going into a muzzie barracks where they call upon satan the devil to murder Christians, is just the place for this false shepherd, this ravenous wolf, this willfully blind creature, purposefully leading others astray.

    I would plead with all Catholics to examine the Scriptures, and look at this unholy creature as closely as they can to the way Christ must see him. And then remember what Jesus said about “Raise yourselves erect and lift up your heads as your deliverance is getting near.”

  9. Pope Leo with his repeated efforts to please by appeasement the Muslim clerics , this latest , time he visited and mosque then fraternized with imams in that place. Could it be that Leo is actually afraid of them ? He would be so honest to come right out an admit it. After all, People Leo had yet to visited a Buddhist temple and fraternize with the Buddhists priests in it.

    Another way to view this, in it’s clear that Islam is the religion of the Devil. It has been revealed in the light of the Bible, which exposes many of the teaching of Islam as false doctrines. Therefore, Pope Leo should be consistent and them go and visit religion of the Devil, by traveling to San Francisco to visit church of Satan and then associate in a friendly way in that “church ‘ with the high priest of Satan .

    How absurd so people would rely to the above statement, Yes it is , likewise it’s absurd of Pope Leo XIV to enter the mosque.

  13. Removing one’s shoes when in a mosque is not merely a mark of respect – it acknowledges it as holy ground, as per Moses’ encounter with God at the burning bush
    5 “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” (Exodus 3:5 NIV)
    and Joshua’s meeting with the Commander of the Lord’s Armies (who has to have been God, rather than an angel – my theory is that he was the pre-incarnate Word of God – since he accepted his homage, which angels refuse to do, plus there was that requirement to remove his sandals)

    This means that it is idolatry for either a Jew or a Christian to remove his/her shoes to enter a mosque.

  16. When Islam takes Vatican city an they will because this Pope will allow it. Former Pope had the Muslims inside of the city, they now now what’s inside. Once Islam has full control of the city all the great masterpieces will be destroyed and the city turned into a mega Mosque.
