Pope Leo: ‘The only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the establishment of a Palestinian state’

Imagine how surprised and embarrassed he will be if that “Palestinian” state is established and peace does not ensue. These people, however, never go back and admit their errors.

As pope of Rome, Leo ought to have some knowledge of history and Islamic theology. After all, he makes pronouncements that appear to emanate from knowledge of both. But he clearly knows nothing about the invention of the “Palestinians” in the 1960s, or about Islam’s theology of jihad. As such, he should keep silent on issues regarding them. On the other hand, every other leader in the Western world is just as ignorant, and they all keep talking, so the pope might as well join in.

It’s amazing, in the most negative how Pope Leo XIV can claim to be a Christian, let also claim to be genuine leader of the Roman Catholic Church, a church that officially holds the Bible in high esteem and teaches the people who are members of It to greatly respect and even love Jesus and therefore follow the teachings of Jesus.

    Then, in spite of all this Pope Leo XIV pushes favorably a division of the land State of Israel in a so called “the two state solution. “ Which in reality is not solution at all but a recipe for disaster in the Middle East.

    What’s more that idea dividing of State of Israel gong directly against the teaching of Jesus , Who taught “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.” Mark 3:24. [N.E.B.]

    For Pope Leo XIV deliberately disregarding and ignoring the teaching of Jesus is an absurdly for a man who poses a “Christian leader.”

  3. That so called “two -state solution” that Pope Leo favors is in reality, no solution at all . It would never work.

    For example, Hamas had proven that, not only the its words but ,more terrible murderous actions, starting on October 7th, that it wants to completely destroy the State of Israel and even commit genocide worldwide on the Jewish people. That Hamas jihad attack and continued further Islam terror/murder attacks reveals the terrible folly and total lack of wisdom in the every idea of a two-state solution.

    Therefore, that so called “two state solution” is not really a valid idea and not a genuine solution. It will definitely not stop this awful Israeli –Muslim land conflict.

    Thus, a “two state solution” is out of the question. .This is because a “two state solution” not really a “solution” but an Islamic ploy of deception , a smokescreen and hoax and a fraud.

    To put all this in another way , October7th with those Hamas Islamic terror murderous jihadist attacks into Israel from Gaza exposes that even the idea of some people of dividing Jerusalem as well as other parts of the State of Israel between the Jewish people of the Muslim/ Arabs is nothing but folly. To engage the madness of such “talks” is a hoax and a farce .This is because in the so called “negotiations” between the heads of the Jewish nation of Israel and the leaders of the “Palestinians” the Muslim /Arabs the “Palestinian” leaders will speak the truth only when in happens to fit their agenda. The rest of the time the will be speaking half-truths and outright lies. For their goal is to obtain all of the land of the State of Israel. Even in it takes much time and it means getting the land piece by piece. Therefore, those “peace talks” are a hoax.

    For the “Palestinian” leaders are employing what is the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya . Which is the Islamic dogma that lying and deception are good things to do as long as it’s done for the cause of the advancement of Islam. This insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad . Such sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder. For “Palestinian” leader will allow the jihadists use that land as a base to launch murderous rocket attacks in to Israel. As for example, Hamas of Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

    • Such false hopes for peace which are based on the foundation of lies are nothing new when it comes to Israel. For example, the Bible in Psalm 55:20, 21. Reads “Such men do violence to those at peace with them and break their promised word; their speech is smoother the butter but their thoughts are of war.” [N.E.B.]

  4. It’s not really much of a bombshell, is it, for the Pope to say this? Everybody says this. It’s everybody’s favourite take on the Israel/Palestine impasse. And just as Israel’s defense of itself is routinely represented as aggression, its reluctance to simply jump at a two-state solution is cited as the reason there isn’t one.

    Israel of course has no reason at all to fear for its safety if a country is established that nearly cuts Israel’s territory in two for a people who have been determined to eradicate the Jewish state ever since it was created. Israel is just unaccountably “refusing” to allow its neighbours to have national status.

    It was Israel that agreed to a two state solution when it was proposed by the United Nations back in 1947. It was the Palestinians who rejected it, and used blood letting to stop it from happening. But there is supposed to be no chance that the Palestinians are thinking now the way they did then – “either we get the entire region or the war never ends”. No chance at all.

  9. Jesus Christ….the Perfect Man, The Lord and Master of Christians, told His disciples to pray this way, “Our Father in heaven, let your Name be holy, let your Kingdom come, let ***your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.**”

    For Christians, this is the **solution** to the constant wars, the famines, the pestilences, earthquakes and all of the problems on earth. Christ will do away with evil.
    Evil does not exist in heaven where God does His will.

    It is plainly obvious that the creature who calls himself “leo,” is no Christian. If he actually followed Christ, he would know that Jesus has promised to bring an end to evil on earth and he would promote /support that as a *solution.*

    This creature who pretends to sit in the place of Jesus Christ is a blasphemer. He is working for islime and islime is from the devil.

  10. As long as Jews and Muslims co-occupy Israel there will never be a solution, one-state, two-state, or what have you. The fighting will never end. The best you can hope for is temporary negotiated ceasefires. That’s it.

  11. Pope Leo is an obvious ultracrepidarian when it comes to the Middle East and Islam. He should stick to his wheelhouse, which presumably is the niche of Roman Catholic theology, so some subsidiary thereof.

Vicious, hate filled, evil, murderous Muslims everywhere must be thrilled about this useful idiot of a pope, a know nothing fool when it comes to islam just like the last Pollyanna type pope who thought that islam is basically peaceful. There will never be peace anywhere where there are Muslims. That’s the truth. Islam is full of evil and it creates evil people.

    • Seconded, tg. The present Pope is either a liar or an ignoramus. I’ll give him the doubt here and think him the latter but any Pope should be neither a liar nor an ignoramus.

      Again I state that I don’t think enough people realize what has happened to the Catholic Church in the past half century or so. It has become a debacle of a once great religious institution and the fact that there are still Catholics out there, including some priests, who are stalwart in upholding traditional Catholicism serves for me only as evidence of metaphorical vapors still trying to prop up a dying institution.

      Do I think it’s really this bad? Yes I do.

      • At the very least, any pope should be aware of church history, and how Byzantine emperor Alexiios Komnenos appealed to Rome for help. Pope Urban 2 knew the score. Some popes that came after were so petty and vindictive against the Orthodox after the schism that they actually weakened the Byzantine empire, refusing aid and even sacking Constantinople in 1204 after a dispute over paying the Crusade soldiers.

        Bottom line—now the Turkish squatters are there and the Hagia Sofia is a mosque.

        Pope Benedict I think knew what was up—but these last two popes are utterly useless as far as defending Christians.

        • GE, I believe that the main responsibilities of a shepherd of God’s flock are to teach God’s Word, make disciples, and encourage Christians to have faith in God and His Son.
          Advocating for those who hate, persecute and murder Christ’s disciples is not a job for a shepherd of the flock.

      • We both can see the good aspects of western civilisation, Wellington, and we both see Islam, Marxism and Nazism as the evil piles of shit that they are, but I do have a different attitude on the catholic church. This a big issue for because I have been thinking of leaving the catholic church and joining the Anglican church for quite a while. Both of them have plenty of left wing fools but I will seem like a wild revolutionary because I think obligatory celibacy should be gone, I can see no reason women can’t be priests, etc. my feeling is that catholic church hierarchy just won’t change. Also there was lot of fear in the old catholic and people just moved on, they weren’t going to cop the od fear. The Latin mass was mumbo jumbo. On birth control 85 percent of Catholics are naturally in favour. Has the church changed its ruling. Probably not too much inertia. Anyway I will always remain a basic Christian. But I wish all Christian leaders would have the guts to call stinking Islam what it is, evil filth. I hope are going well Wellington, James and ge as well.

        • We rarely disagree, TG, but I think women being able to become priests is a really bad idea. It will, absolutely, open the door to more Leftist rot. After all, and consider this, Jesus lived in a time when many religions had priestesses. But Jesus per the New Testament chose only men for his twelve disciples. Even Mary Magdalen, significant as she was, was not chosen as a disciple and the single most honored human of all time in the Catholic theological framework, Jesus’s own mother, the Virgin Mary, was not chosen to be a priest. I submit (not meant in an Islamic way) there is a reason for this, assuming that Catholicism is the true faith.

          Do women under traditional Catholicism have a major role? You bet they do but gender blending with respect to the priesthood is not an example of such per traditional Catholicism and I think traditional Catholicism should be listened to—surely.

          Women are equal to men per Catholic thinking but this, I would contend, does not add up to female priests existing. Go down that road, and the feminization of the male will continue apace and yet another beacon of traditional Western religion, i.e., Catholicism, will be compromised most terribly.

          On a related matter, if the Latin Mass is mumbo jumbo, then the Catholic Church engaged in mumbo jumbo for close to 2,000 years, even after colloquial languages started to replace Latin as the language of the educated (e.g., Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th century). How can Catholicism be the true faith if mumbo jumbo went on so long, including well into the 20th century long after Latin ceased to be a spoken language? Latin, I would contend, was a major factor in binding Catholics from all over the world into a common ritual. Alas, that factor has been almost entirely removed due to Vatican II.

          We agree on so much, especially how truly awful Islam really is, but I have presented my points of view with conviction and, as always, with deep respect for you. Take care, my across-the-pond friend whom, sadly, I will probably never meet.

        • Tim, I agree with you about men not needing to stay single (celibate) …since Peter was married and selected by Christ to hold the keys of the kingdom, and Jesus said to him, “If you love me, feed by sheep,” married men can sever Christ as shepherds.

          Men were told if they could stay single, “If you can make room for it, make room for it,” they would have more time for serving the Lord; but the choice belongs to the man involved.

          As for women priests, I have to agree with Wellington.

        • Thanks for the reply, Wellington. I wrote a long reply and then buggered something up and disappeared. The catholic church will run out of priests because of obligatory celibacy. The church I go to has a priest from India, very pleasant man, but hard to understand his sermons. Probably not Australian priest available. I know a few priests who left to marry. You could be right about women priests but I am for equality. One the hundreds of reasons I hate Islam is it’s misogyny. My late mother told she. Preferred the Latin mass. Maybe some mystical. I think the language people understand is far better. Here english, in France French, in the Philippines tagalog,etc.

        • Somehistory, I wrote a long reply then stuffed it up. The catholic church have lost huge numbers of priests who left marry so they will to change that rule. Lots of good people. It will be a massive change but it eventually. The church has too much inertia in many areas

        • “Mumbo jumbo” is what made worship universal: the same in NYC & an African village. Now it’s mass facing people and dancing in the aisles.
          BTW- every woman in church authority I’ve ever known lacks faith and humility. Not that men do not, but the woman are climbers. And I’m not talking stairway to heaven.

    • John, the only people who “believe” in this so-called “solution” are the ones who don’t really want peace, nor for Israel to exist.
      It’s like asking, nay, forcing a family to allow termites to live with them in a house made entirely of wood.

      • I’ve never looked at it that way before Somehistory, I’ve always believed that everyone wants peace ( with the exceptions of muslimes). But you really may have a point here, I will be paying much more attention to this from now on. Thanks for that you may well have opened my eyes to something I was completely unaware of.

      • Somehistory, I first heard of the “two state solution” as a teenager, and thought it was a *great idea*. And yes–I really did want peace.

        But what I knew about the history of Israel was a bit sketchy,. and the history of Islam even more so. I soon came to learn that Muslims did not want peace in the Middle East–unless that meant the destruction of democratic Israel.

        So what about today? I would say that anyone touting this is either very naive–as I was–or else realizes that any “two state solution” would be nothing but a stepping stone for the destruction of Israel.

        • Gravenimage, many of us thought the same way as you did when we were teenagers but our minds were still developing then. But if you still think this way when you’re an adult in your forties or your fifties there is something seriously wrong with the way your mind is processing things. Any rational thinking person knows that a two state solution would be doomed to failure. Does Starmer have a very low intellect, or is he just evil like Somehistory has suggested. I’m still on the fence with that one.

  20. Well, he is from Chicago, and as it so happens, the largest population of Palis in the US is not Dearborn, Minneapolis or even New York: it’s Chicago. That may explain his affinity for this state

    My respect for that church was low to being w/, due to historical persecutions like the Spanish Inquisition, the Thirty Year War, Edict of Fontainebleau, the persecution of Jews and later Protestants, the genocide in Central and South America in its name and so on. Now, it’s swung to the other extreme and is embracing its enemies. Can’t they find that happy medium where they can be tolerant of others, but firm in opposing their own persecution?

    The Muslim raiders sacked basilicas, such as Old St Peter’s and Saint Paul Outside the Walls, which were outside the Aurelian Walls, and stole valuables, including the golden cross erected above the alleged tomb of Saint Peter.

    The defences of the Vatican had to be bolstered due to the threat of further Muslim raids on Rome.

  23. Leo should educate himself , but Israel offered Arafat a Palestinian state in 2000 at the Camp David Summit. He refused. These people don’t want their own state, they want the entire land of Israel and the Israeli people whom most of them hate wiped out.

    1. 1937 Peel Commission Patrician Plan – the result a two state solution rejected by Muslims.
    2. 1947 Largely occupied by people from Jordan
    3. 1967 The Six-Day War – Egypt Syria and Jordan – Land for peace didn’t work either
    After this the Arab league met in Sudan and the result was –
    No peace with Israel
    No recognition of Israel
    No negotiations with Israel
    4. 2000 Rapist Bill Clinton, Israel P.M. Edhu Barak meeting with Yasser Araaft former President of Palestine at Camp David. Yassar Arafat rejected all offers.
    5. 2008 Israel P.M. Edhu Omar, met with Mahoud Abbas, President of Palestine – rejected all offers.

    Muslims do not want peace.

    In other words, their goal is to totally eliminate Israel and America.
    The U.S. is viewed by them as the Big Satan and Israel is viewed as the Little Satan.

    From the river to the sea,
    Palestine will be free!
