Muslims in Nigeria continue their efforts to “strike terror” in the enemies of Allah, as the Qur’an directs (8:60).

A couple were killed in South-West Niger this week after armed individuals fired into the air inside a church, locals told AFP on Friday.
The incident occurred in the Dosso region of Niger, a Sahel country that has been plagued for a decade by a conflict pitting the military against fighters said to be linked to Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State group.
ACLED, a non-governmental organisation monitoring conflicts around the world, said nearly 2,000 people had died as a result of such violence in Niger this year.
“The attack happened in Mailo village at around 11:00 pm on Wednesday night. Christians were attending mass in the church when armed individuals came in and fired into the air. There was panic,” a local requesting anonymity told AFP.
“A man and his wife ran and hid in their house but (the assailants) followed them and they were killed.”…
Suspected jihadists are nonetheless blamed for attacks on churches in the western region of Tillaberi between 2018 and 2021, and the killing of 111 Muslim worshippers in Tillaberi this year.

Until Christians realize that they must step-up and start protecting themselves and the Faith this kind of thing will happen again and again without end. Which means hiring armed guards willing to shoot back to guard the services and stop the moslem terrorists from entering with impunity. Which means for every Christian slaughtered at the hands of moslems, two moslems must meet the same fate. For every Christian church put to the torch by moslem terrorists, two mosques must burn in turn. Time for Christians to make moslems aware there will be consequences, serious consequences, for their violent actions against Christians. If this doesn’t happen soon Christianity will be seriously reduced across the world by the end of this decade and will most likely be extinct by the end of the next.

As one who follows Christ, I must say again, going about like the other poster keeps writing, is **against** what Jesus commanded His followers to do.
Those who are not Christians, really do not share the Faith which Christians have, nor the obligating to follow His commandments.
He said, “When they persecute you in one city, flee to the next.” He never said to go slaughtering.
I do not sit in judgment of those who fought in the crusades, but there is no Commandment from Christ to do what they did.

I’m astonished! A group of Muslims storm a Catholic Church and only ONE couple is killed? It’s usually dozens upon dozens of victims. Thank God, the Muslims screwed up for once.

Turning the other cheek can only go so far. Every person should have the right to defend themselves from attacks. Those who attack others get no sympathy from me for the retaliation against them.
Whatever happened too and “eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth”? Used to be we hung cattle and horses thieves. Now you kill someone and we give you a warm bed, three meals a day, free medical and legal service a cellphone, TV, and a gym. No dam wonder there is so much crime. For some of these criminals this is a step up in their standard of living. For Islam prison is also a good recruiting place for like minded violent individuals.
