But that’s what leftists did a few generations ago while completely disregarding not only Algeria’s extended history of piracy and slavery (the two overlapped with Muslim pirates abducting entire European towns, not to mention Miguel Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, and selling them into slavery) but even while they were waging their ‘anti-colonial struggle’ against France, were also massacring the Jewish population which the French had been oppressive enough to provide equal rights to. A no-no in Islam.
Now, Algeria’s regime is demanding ‘reparations’ from France.
Algeria’s parliament has unanimously approved a law declaring France’s colonisation of the country a crime and demanded an apology and reparations.
In a solemn ceremony steeped in symbolism, 340 of 407 members of Algeria’s National Assembly voted late Wednesday to approve the law.
The law stipulates prison sentences for any action by an Algerian celebrating French colonialism, for attacks on symbols of the Algerian resistance, and “remarks with colonial connotations.”
That last part is the actual substance. No one is allowed to oppose Islamic terrorism or suggest that minorities were better off before Islamic terrorists took over.
But if Algeria wants reparations, how about we start with reparations for the over 1 million Europeans trafficked through Algeria’s slave markets.
What’s the price to be paid for Algeria’s habit of taking European women as sex slaves?
The United States had to fight a war on ‘Algiers’ to stop its habit of attacking American ships and taking their crews captive. Before that we were paying ‘reparations.” Jefferson refused to keep paying reparations.

Two Algerian men accused of abducting and raping a woman in Toulouse in September 2022, before leaving her naked on the roadside, appeared before the Assize Court on Monday to answer for their alleged crimes.
France left Algeria long ago. Perhaps it’s time for Algerians to leave France.

The United States Marines where formed to invade Tripoli to storm the pirates fort there to rescue American sailors and stop jihadist from kidnaping American sailors off the North African coast. The Barbary War between the United States and the Barbary Pirates lasted from 1801 to 1805. The Marines were well-established for a quarter century before they were used against the Barbary pirates.

They’d have to throw Libya and Tunisia into the mix as well. Libya doesn’t have a stable, internationally recognized government. Some recognize the one in Tripoli, and some recognize Haftar’s regime based in Tobruk. Likewise , a scholar on Islam who is an Arab woman and speakers and reads Arabic and uses to live in one the those countries on the Middle East had exposes in her book that the prophet of Islam ,Muhammad referred to Blacks as “ ‘raisin heads’ several time in the hadith [1:663:9:256]”Her book also reveals that “Throughout the hadith blacks are also referred to as abeds, which means ‘black in Arabic and is also synonymous with the word “slave’ and filth.” In fact ,Arab Muslims have enslaved blacks for 1,400 years and the Black slave trade is still thriving in Sudan and Mauritania.” Further in her same book the author reveals that “Most interesting, though, is the even though black slavery by Muslims began long ago , almost no descends of those slaves are alive today in the Muslim world. Why is there no black culture in the Middle East ? Most slaves were either killed or died from being worked to death.” [2]

Fine. Let Algeria and the rest of coastal Africa from Libya westward and then southward down to Angola pony up to pay reparations to American blacks. The Maghreb was the area that taught Spain and Portugal that Sub-saharan peoples made good slaves; and the rest from Mauretania down toAngola are the heirs of the people who did the actual capturing and selling.
Since the Caribbean islands were the usual transfer points for slaves ultimately landed in what would become the USA, lets have them pony up, too. I’m sure that with its consistent stand for social justice, Communist Cuba would be happy to donate some of its sugar income.

Islam with it’s doctrinal practice of putting people who aren’t Muslim into the bondage of slavery isn’t reported in the Western news media where its currently practiced in Islamic nations. Furthermore , many history books make little or no mention of slavery in Islam.

Second, in the history of Islam and also now, as in current times, some of the many females, both girls and young women have been kidnapped and uses as sex-slaves for Muslim man. Many of those girls and women are European females.

Furthermore, another scholar on Islam is uses to live in one of those Middle Eastern countries but is now an American had in her book exposed that ”Female freedom and independence is one of the greatest sins in Islam and one of devout Muslim purists’ greatest justifications for terrorism against Western societies.” [3] The Europeans would do well to be aware ,informed and valiant with vigilance.
