Israel will soon be left with no choice but to ramp up airstrikes on Syria, given the jihad terrorist activity there. And it is now considering doing just that. The latest: Al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya. “Report: IDF mulling expanded op in Syria, checking whether Sharaa’s forces fired on troops,” Times of Israel, November 29, 2025:
The military is considering an expanded operation in southern Syria if it finds that Syrian government forces were involved in gunfire at soldiers during an arrest operation in Syria’s south early Friday morning, Channel 13 said in an unsourced report.
According to the network, the Israel Defense Forces could transition to conducting fewer arrest operations against terror operatives active near the border and instead increase airstrikes to eliminate targets.
Kan news reported that Israel has identified that some of those planning attacks against IDF soldiers and the Druze community in southern Syria work for the Syrian government’s intelligence forces. It was unclear from the report to what degree they are involved with the government and whether their actions against Israel are known to Syrian authorities.
The IDF said troops came under fire early Friday morning in the Syrian village of Beit Jinn, some seven kilometers (4.3 miles) east of the border, after they detained two members of the al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya (Islamic Group) terror organization, acting on intelligence information collected in recent weeks indicating that the two brothers were planning attacks on Israel…
Already Israel is getting blamed for fighting for its existence (again). France is calling on Israel “to respect Syria’s sovereignty.” And the Arab Parliament has condemned the Israeli strikes, urging international action. Yet no barbaric jihadist group nor the Islamic countries that support them respect Israel’s sovereignty.
In 2024, the IDF attacked the Al-Fajr Forces (the military wing of Lebanon’s Al-Jama’ah al-Islamiyah) on the Israel-Lebanon border, located in the Sunni village of Al-Habariya. Al-Fajr Forces were preparing to attack Israel “through an on-foot infiltrationinto Israeli territory in the Har Dov area,” just as Hamas did on October 7. But current reports are not adequately presenting the Syrian threat to Israel, which is the reason for the IDF attacks in Syria.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hizballah and Hamas are also proliferating in Syria, as the jihadist grand plan to target Israel continues to work to destroy the Jewish state.
The Syrian government itself is a jihadist one that poses an extreme threat to Israel. In September, Amnesty International reported evidenc
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is a dangerous, seasoned jihadist who was loyal to al-Qaeda and allied with ISIS (before betraying its late caliph, Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi). He worked with Turkish despot and Islamic supremacist President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to overthrow former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Why would anyone expect anything but jihadist activity to proliferate in Syria? According to Israeli public broadcaster KAN News, the regime of Ahmed al-Shara has “appointed an envoy whose sole task is to facilitate communications between PIJ leadership and the Syrian government.” Yet al-Sharaa fools the West with his suit and tie.

You could put a leopard in a suit and tie, but the spots are still there.

Good idea. Take no prisoners: as it is, they will be collateral for Hamas
Also establish backend channels w/ Damascus so that they can read them the riot act for permitting jihadist elements to operate against Israel

The free world must stand with Israel. Or the free world will fall.
I’m Irish, and there are approximately 3000 syrian “refugees” in Ireland.
I didn’t ask them in, and I don’t like it at all.
Ban Islam in the West.
