All German states but one — Bremen — have antisemitism commissioners, who monitor the kinds and frequency of antisemitic acts, and report them to the state government for whatever action it chooses to take in response. Recently Stefan Hensel, the antisemitism czar in Hamburg, has resigned in despair over the increase in antisemitism, and the failure of officials in Hamburg to provide enough political support for his task. More on what he experienced can be found here: “Germany’s only Jewish antisemitism czar is resigning amid rising threats, ebbing support,” by Joshua Schultheis, Times of Israel, December 8, 2025:
Hamburg’s antisemitism commissioner Stefan Hensel, the only Jewish official in such a role in any German state, has announced that he will step down at the end of the year, saying a wave of hatred and a lack of political backing have made his job untenable.
His resignation, announced on October 1, comes amid a sharp rise in antisemitic incidents across Germany since the bloody Hamas-led October 7, 2023, invasion of Israel and subsequent war in Gaza, sparking questions over how committed German authorities really are to protecting Jewish life.
“There’s a massive wave of hatred crashing down on me,” Hensel recently told The Times of Israel. He said he now requires personal security at public events, while his “personal freedom of movement is severely restricted.”
But not all threats against Hensel have targeted him personally.
In May of this year, Hensel faced an antisemitic attack while sitting in his car with his young daughter, listening to a Hebrew song. A delivery van driver who pulled up next to Hensel at a red light harassed him, called him a “baby killer,” and challenged him to get out of the car if he was “a man.”
“The act happened out of impulse,” Hensel said. “It could have happened to any Jew.”
“I just don’t want to [do this] anymore,” he added.
All but one of Germany’s 16 states — Bremen — has an antisemitism commissioner, appointed by the local state government to serve as a point of contact for the Jewish community. Their responsibilities include documenting antisemitic incidents and increasing the visibility of Jewish life.
In a mid-November profile in the German magazine Stern, published after his resignation announcement, Hensel described how his office has been continuously flooded with hateful messages. His two staff members, he said, gave up long ago on trying to record every incident.
Hensel also cites a lack of political support as a key reason for stepping down.
“Neither the administration nor politics stand by me, even though they should be my allies,” he said, adding that he “is increasingly ignored in politics.” He said there were numerous antisemitic incidents to which his protests went unanswered.
The German officials in Hamburg have apparently tired of paying attention to antisemitism, and to their antisemitism commissioner Stefan Hensel. They’ve got other things to think about. And why do Jews always go on so much about antisemitism, anyway? For how long are we supposed to feel guilty? And what about the genocide in Gaza?
As one example, he pointed to the appearance of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) supporter Zamzam Ibrahim at a well-known Hamburg cultural center. In a 2021 Instagram post, Ibrahim compared Israel’s treatment of Palestinians to the Holocaust. At the time, Hensel publicly called Ibrahim a person who “advocates offensively antisemitic positions that deny Israel’s right to exist,” and urged the artistic director responsible to cancel her appearance, without success….
The Muslimah Zamzam Ibrahim’s antisemitism was hardly hidden; she had compared the Israeli treatment of the Palestinians to how the Nazis treated the Jews. Such a comparison is grotesque; Hensel asked that she not be allowed to appear at a Hamburg cultural center to spew her antisemitism hatred, but the head of the center refused to cancel her appearance. Why is that Mr. Hensel, why are Jews, always complaining? And Hensel no doubt thinks to himself: Might it be because these days, alas, there is always something antisemitic to complain about?
Hamburg government officials offer a markedly different assessment of their record on combating antisemitism and of their cooperation with Hensel….
“The Senate has always experienced committed and constructive cooperation on both sides,” he said, adding that together they had achieved a great deal in the fight against antisemitism.
That’s not what Stefan Hensel now thinks. There may have been official backing for his work in the past, but not any longer. He deplores the refusal of the relevant authorities, on so many occasions, to comply with his simple request not to provide venues to antisemitic speakers and groups. The Bundestag had officially labelled the BDS movement as antisemitic, but when he asked the university not to provide space for meetings of a local BDS group, it refused, just as the cultural center’s head had refused Hensel’s request that Zamzam Ibrahim not be allowed to spew her Jew-hatred at the center.

For the West to be successful, Islam, its Organizations, its Mosques, its Schools, etc. must be banned as illegal for their funding, teaching, and promoting acts of discrimination, segregation, violence, and terrorism against Non-Muslims as taught from Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15; 98:6-7, etc.). Islam and its Muslims are a daily, potential threat to Non-Muslims.
Islam functions like a Terrorist-Criminal-Gang Enterprise. Similar to a Foreign Terrorist Organization(FTO) designated by the USA Secretary of State, Islam and its Muslims are a MUSLIM TERRORIST ORGANIZATION(MTO) fighting against Non-Muslims to make Islam supreme and NOT A PEACEFUL religion under Western Law because Islam funds, teaches, and promotes Terrorist Criminal Organizations with Muslims as Terrorists for Allah(Qur’an 2:191; 4:89, 91; 9:5,29, 111; 49:15, etc.). Islam must be banned as illegal for Non-Muslims to survive.
Muslims make false claims and deceitful exaggerations, breed a grievance mentality, and aggravate divisions among people in a manner that allows for justification of terroristic violence(Qur’an 3:28,54; 7:99; 8:30, etc.). Allah in Qur’an 49:15 says, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims.
Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.” See also Qur’an 60:4.
Allah demands extortion payments, ‘Jizyah’, from Non-Muslims to humiliate them and make Islam supreme. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”
Allah teaches and promotes discrimination when Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.” Allah disrespects and detests Jews and Christians for not being Muslims by teaching discrimination and segregation. So, Allah’s apostle in Sahih Muslim 26:5389 says, “Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to the narrowest part of it[where excrement and trash flow].”
MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah while undermining a society from within using the man-made book of lies and deceit, the Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim attacks and violence.

All German states would do well to simply follow the example of Bremen, and not have antisemitism “czars”. Either have a consistent policy that punishes anybody and everybody – especially, not just even, mohammedans – for antisemitism, or just throw off the charade and say that the Mohammedans are picking up where Adolf Eichmann left off

It’s all just an ugly charade WRT the governments of Western Eurabia and their response to the manifold evil aspects of the islamic death cult. Nazis were antisemitic pigs, but they weren’t raping girls, boys and women across Western Europe.

FWIW, Stefan Hensel is a convert to Judaism.
Very brave man.
