Ilhan Omar defends Somalis in Minnesota, calls THEM welfare fraud victims, then blames FBI and court

Those who were bilking Minnesotans out of all this taxpayer money and sending it back to Somalia likely regarded it as payments from infidels in lieu of jizya. The Qur’an stipulates that non-Muslims must pay the jizya, a tax, to Muslims. If they’re not paying it, many imams consider it lawful to take funds or property from the infidels to compensate for the missing payments.

But Ilhan Omar defends her Somali community in Minnesota after it ripped off taxpayers and sent the money to Somalia, in part in order to fund jihad terror, blaming instead the FBI and court system “for not figuring it out.”

Even the New York Times wrote:

The fraud scandal that rattled Minnesota was staggering in its scale and brazenness.

Federal prosecutors charged dozens of people with felonies, accusing them of stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from a government program meant to keep children fed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Hill article below further states that “authorities have only recovered about $50 million of the estimated $1 billion that was stolen”; much of this money is alleged to have been funneled to the Somalia-based jihad terror group al-Shabab.

The group is “committed to eradicating Christianity from Somalia.”

Omar’s behavior here warrants her removal from office. If Omar’s Charlie Kirk comments didn’t get her impeached, this should. She’s harmful to America.

Meanwhile, Muslim Network TV defends her, slamming Trump in the process for resurrecting the scandal about Omar marrying her brother, while plastering front and center propaganda about “Israel’s genocide in Gaza.”

No Muslim country would ever allow such a slap in the face from any country which undermines its Islamic values and identity. Only in America and the West are Muslims allowed to mock and flout Western values, and then claim victimhood.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is speaking out regarding massive welfare fraud allegations in Minnesota, her home state, under the watch of Gov. Tim Walz. Because the vast majority of the fraudsters are Somali, and because Ilhan Omar is herself a member of that community, she appeared on “Face the Nation” over the weekend to answer questions about the accusations made by many conservatives.

Trump administration figure Stephen Miller, for one, has said in the wake of the scandal that, “The entire Somali refugee program is predicated on a lie. Destroying your own country does not give you the right to become a citizen in ours.”

Miller, of course, would like to have no immigration from the so-called Third World whatsoever. But here is what Omar said about the welfare fraud scandal: “You know, this also has an impact on Somalis because we are also taxpayers in Minnesota. We could have also benefitted from the program and the money that was stolen.”

I don’t know. If I was her, this is what I would have said: I’m outraged that anyone in my community would pilfer from the public. I want all the perpetrators brought to justice. They are giving us a bad name and I won’t stand for it.

Next, Margaret Brennan asked Omar about whether the money had been sent overseas to fund terrorism. Her response? “There are people who have been prosecuted, and who have been sentenced. If there was a linkage in that the money they have stolen going to terrorism, that is a failure of the FBI and our court system in not figuring that out.”…

    • Recall that way back in 724 the original Moslems knocked off that Qurayshi caravan. Nowadays most associate booty with the Kardashian sisters. Those are the truthful.” Allah in Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”

    ALLAH’S MUSLIMS are a greater TERROR than diabolical Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”

    Again, Islam is a totalitarian and supremacist system of lies and deceit because Allah, the best deceiver, is the actual source of Muslim deceit as taught in Islam’s Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 3:54 says, “And they deceived, and Allah deceived. And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 8:30 says, “…And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 13:42 says, “And indeed, those before them deceived, so to Allah all the deception…”

Hopefully, the attention paid to this can be sustained to next November, so that not just Ilhan, but Waltz too can be defeated, and a new administration not willing to tolerate corruption or fraud can come in. Oh, and while they are at it, there should be a mass deportation of Somalis from the Twin Cities

  7. If Governor Waltz is connected to the Somali scam then surely the number one Somali, Ilhan Omar, is connected as well. At the minimum she was getting campaign contributions and at the maximum she was getting personal contributions as well. It is simply impossible she was not involved. And don’t forget Attorney General Keith Ellison. He is also up to his neck in this.

    • I for one would not be surprised. I wonder if they can stretch the investigation out long enough to have the statute of limitations for prosecution run out? That seems to work out well for politicians.

    It will be found that there was an organization of a few people, brighter than the average, who worked out the original scams, distributed the methods, and became wealthy.

    It appears that Somalis in Columbus, Ohio, MAY have a scam of their own involving welfare, grocery stores, and restaurants. Time may confirm it.
