Hamas-linked CAIR: Elimination of deportation protection for Somalis in Minnesota is part of ‘Israel first’ campaign

And so in light of that passage, the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) can’t see anything it regards as negative as other than a Jewish plot against them.

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) lashed out against President Donald Trump’s decision to eliminate deportation protections for Somali immigrants in Minnesota, blaming the move on an “Israel first” campaign that it says is also targeting podcasters Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.

“We believe this is an Israeli-first public campaign targeting a very vulnerable community—the Somali-American community—and a very vulnerable congresswoman—Ilhan Omar—as an effort to try to win back the many young Americans who believe that America should not be getting into wars for other countries,” CAIR-Minnesota executive director Jaylani Hussein said during a Monday afternoon press conference. He went on to praise Owens and Carlson, warning that “Israel first” Americans have also come after them.

“I know for sure that this campaign mirrors the same campaign targeting Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, major influencers on the conservative side, who have gained tremendous support in the younger generation of Republicans who are refusing to accept—refusing to accept—that America will continue to take the wars of Israel, destabilize the Middle East, lose their own tax dollars while committing carnage and lossage in the lives of Muslims, and many of these young generation today have woken up,” Hussain continued.

CAIR’s press conference came in response to Trump’s announcement that he would rescind Temporary Protected Status for Somalis in Minnesota. “Somali gangs are terrorizing the people of that great State,” the president said, turning it into a “hub of fraudulent money laundering activity.” Trump’s decision came on the heels of a City Journal report from Ryan Thorpe and Christopher Rufo detailing how Somali-American criminal networks help redirect welfare money out of the country and back to Somalia. Millions of taxpayer dollars, the report states, have ended up in the hands of the Al-Shabaab terrorist network.

Hussein condemned an “article” during the press conference, saying CAIR believes it is “based on false information that is being wrongfully connected,” without naming the specific story. He told the Washington Free Beacon he was referring to the City Journal piece.

The CAIR-Minnesota executive director also said his organization would like “the federal government to monitor funding that is coming directly from Israel into the pockets of social media influencers to do their foreign bidding.”…

  1. I posted some stuff about this from The Western Journal, which includes some things about praise for terrorists…black panthers, etc…..by cair members. Also included are remarks from the government about where much of the funds taken by somalis have gone…not just to somalia and al shabab; but to turkey and kenya.

    This revoking of protections (which they don’t need) has nothing to do with Israel. It has to do with dealing with unappreciative lawbreakers and those who threaten the **fabric** of society. ilhan elmi included.

    Governor Abbott has cair in the crosshairs; so should Pres. Trump and the DOJ. Investigate, arrest, charge, try and convict….for supporting terror, for money-laundering, for fraud, for lying to LE….it’s way past time.

    If the administration had an “Israel-first” agenda, wouldn’t its first targets be the local Palestinians, for whom that issue is #1? The Somalians here are being targeted for fraud benefiting themselves. Their behavior hurts Americans, but in no way directly affects Israelis

    At any rate, you are one to speak, being as you are, an affiliate of the muslim brotherhood

  5. You can always count on CAIR to get things absolutely ass-backwards where the interests of America are concerned. In fact, has there ever been a position taken by CAIR which is in the best interests of America, of freedom of speech, of true freedom of religion, of women’s rights, of equality under the law, et al.?

    I know of none. Does anyone?

    For my money CAIR is an inveterate enemy of America but parasitically will use American freedoms to destroy American freedoms. Essentially, it’s a spiritual Nazi-type organization, just as all of Islam is.

    There is just no denying this any longer. Because CAIR is now negatively effecting elections in NYC after CAIR donated $100,000 to Mamdani’s campaign. Please remember the “Abandon Biden” campaign was started by Basim Elkrara, the former CAIR SAC Executive Director, and CAIR-MN Director Jaylani Hussein.

    We need to talk about this and demand more from CAIR than just dismissing it all with a wave of their hand. We need to discuss on TV CAIR’s Hamas connections, and their policy of attacking people on TV for the past 7 years.

  11. Taking out the refugees that have overstayed their welcome, did not assimilate and stolen from America’s generosity is the right thing to do.

    Gather them up, put them on a ship and send them back to home country. have them fix their own nation instead of destroying ours.

  14. Exactly Winston! Did you know Israel has shark spies in the Mediterranean and pigeon spies all over the Middle East. You are dealing with more great minds at work when it comes to CAIR.
    The fact that third world Somalis could commit such massive fraud says a lot about our country now too.Politicians cover up and get kickbacks while the populace is redirected towards partisan hatreds.

  15. CAIR is trying to create the impression that the Somalis are victims “just like the Palestinians”, so that college students will riot on their behalf. The irony is that it is true – the Somalis ARE equally as much victims as the Palestinians – i.e., they are NOT victims, because the Palestinians are not either.

    A whole boatload of her allies, have been convicted in the fraud; they worked on her campaign and she helped to get the funding sent to them….but she claims the programs were not done right, claiming “third parties” t and no “guardrails” as the reasons.
