Very good analysis by Ms Mirahmadi, and pretty funny description about her visit w/ Gaddafi – the farting camels and so on. Actually, Gaddafi tried to move the Libyan capital from Tripoli to Sirte, and that was probably where she met him
No country was a bigger foreign policy disaster like Libya. After the 1986 bombing, in which Gaddafi lost a daughter, he actually learned a lesson and stopped splurging on Soviet weaponry, and instead turned to projects like the “Great Manmade River” – projects to make his country more liveable. After the fall of Saddam Hussein, while the Iraq occupation itself was a disaster, the one good side-effect of it was Gaddafi terminating his WMD program (mainly chemical weapons) and working w/ Western countries to normalize relations. Including compensating the Lockerbie victims and extraditing the people involved
Which is why, during the Arab Spring, there was absolutely no reason for the West to get involved. But NATO did, and that too on the side of the jihadist rebels. And when they did, instead of being thankful, the Arab League started protesting at civilian deaths – something that was gonna happen either way given that this was nearly a civil war breaking out. NATO still didn’t learn the lesson, and saw the toppling of Gaddafi, followed by his lynching
Even today, there is one warlord – Khilafa Haftar, who actually has a US citizenship in addition to Libyan, since he used to work for the CIA and live at Langley. Yet, officially, the US doesn’t recognize him as Libya’s leader, but insists that he comes to an agreement w/ the GNA group, which only controls Tripolitania and is Turkey backed
Ms Mirahmadi is absolutely right – the US State Department has no clue about how islamic motivations trump any others – economic well being, mental health or anything else. And you now have Trump who thinks that just like prosperity would make most Americans happy, that the same is true about muslims. Even while he notices what they are doing in Europe, where they are prosperous, albeit at the expense of the locals, and where they have no reason to be raping everybody around them

The problem is western society and other non-Muslim nations don’t focus on the source of the evil – which is Islam and its doctrines written in the Quran and Hadiths. The focus is on everything else except the source of the evil (Islamic doctrine). Instead, they play politics and remove Gadaffi and the situation with these jihadists is worse off at the end than it was at the beginning. Then they wonder why they have this constant flow of imported illegal Muslim migrants who later on in their civilized Judeo-Christian societies become “good” Muslims, read more of the Quran, and take it seriously. The madness continues with people like Albanese and peers actively importing it and the electorate actively voting them into power – again and again. Then they come up with all kinds of excuses as to why they are being used for target practice. Focus on the origin of the evil.
The people elected into power and making policies don’t even take the time to read about the Islamic nature of what they are importing, and not deporting, before making policies and public comments. JW has lots of resources on the nature of Islam explained by non-other than — the Quran itself
