You remember Hank Johnson. He is the high-octane intellect who has spent the last fifteen years trying to live down the fact that in 2010, he seriously worried that Guam would “capsize” if its population grew too large. Yet while much of America has dismissed him as an amiable dunce (or, since he is a leftist, an angry and self-righteous dunce), he keeps on getting elected to Congress, and is now in the middle of his tenth term as a representative from Georgia.
This is despite the fact that the Guam remark was not a one-off. Back in 2014, Congressional staffers even voted Johnson the “Most Clueless” of our nation’s august servants of the people. Now the great man is 71, laden with such honors, and apparently determined to demonstrate that when patriots say that leftists hate America, they aren’t just indulging in partisan rhetoric.

And I *loved* the response to his stupidity over the idea that Guam would “capsize” if too many Marines and their families were stationed there:
Johnson asked the admiral: “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize”. A visibly nonplussed Admiral Willard responded, “We don’t anticipate that”.
Perfectly deadpan! The only question is why Hank Johnson is still in office?
As for bad references, he also *hates* Israelis, and has called Jews “termites”–vermin–you know, just like the Nazis.

The American voters need to take a hard look at who they elect to public office. You can’t vote intelligently based solely. on name recognition or being a smooth talker. We need politicians in office that have experience in running business, communities, cities, states not just loud mouths spewing the lates jargon. Let’s elect our leaders based on getting the job of building our country on behalf of our legal citizens.
