Canada: Muslims take to the streets in anger after Quebec’s move to ban public prayer

Quebec has repeatedly declared its province to be secularized for a specific reason that the National Post highlighted several days ago: “When Quebec politicians talk about “religion” in this context, roughly 97 per cent of the time they mean Muslims…Quebecers had every right to be perturbed this summer by the sight of scores of Muslims praying to Allah with the Notre-Dame Basilica in the background. That was an unambiguous provocation by the only religion that does that sort of thing in Canada.”

The “only religion in Canada” is the cause of the peaceful religions losing out. Compare a kippah and a cross on a necklace around one’s neck to a niqab. Which one is the real threat?

The Canadian province of Quebec is planning to ban all public prayer as part of an aggressive push toward secularization.

Quebec’s secularism minister, Jean-François Roberge, said the laws were designed to accelerate his push toward secularization.

The Guardian reports:

Quebec says it will intensify its crackdown on public displays of religion in a sweeping new law that critics say pushes Canadian provinces into private spaces and disproportionately affects Muslims.

Bill 9, introduced by the governing Coalition Avenir Québec on Thursday, bans prayer in public institutions, including in colleges and universities.

It also bans communal prayer on public roads and in parks, with the threat of fines of C$1,125 for groups in contravention of the prohibition. Short public events with prior approval are exempt.

CAQ has made secularism a key legislative priority, passing the controversial Bill 21 – which bans some public sector employees from wearing religious symbol – in 2019.

It plans to extend that prohibition to anyone working in daycares, colleges, universities and private schools. Full face coverings would be banned for anyone in those institutions, including students….

        • To really stop their prayers.. Canadian women should walk their pet dogs right in front of these inbred while they are praying. They will stop praying because it’s written in their hadiths that if a women or dog walks in front of them when they are praying, their prayers will be annulled and Allah will not take into consideration. Imagine a woman and her dog would be a double whammy.

    There are ways to protest new laws….but this way should be outlawed along with the preying in the streets.

  3. Why are we allowing this 1400+ year old pagan cult to perform their mock prayer to their moon deity allah (or Baal) in our streets? What these brainless inbreds are performing is not prayers but a show of dominance and control. Why are our authority so dumb as to not see what these inbred imbeciles intent is.

    I was born in an islamic country and lived 30 years of my life in that wretched country before immigrating to Canada. I’ve never seen them praying out in the streets in that country. I’ve also been to many muslim countries and have not seen this act of fake praying.

    Time our government took this serious and exercise some action to stop this before it’s too late.

    If these focking inbred muslims don’t like it they can get the fock out of Canada and return to their shit hole country

    • Yeah, I too am fine w/ this law. For the other religions, let Christians go to their churches, Jews to their synagogues, Hindus to their temples, Sikhs to their gurudwaras and so on. No reason for anyone to pray/worship in public

      mohammedans can either go to their mosques, or take the next flight to Mecca before going back to their ancestorial homes

  6. Bottom line: Islam is completely incompatible with Western Civilization. Too bad people like Bush 43, Tony Blair, the utterly pathetic Joe Biden, Angela Merkel, Justin Trudeau, Keir Starmer, the recently departed Pope Francis I and the present fool who is the pontifex maximus, Leo XIV, among so many other woeful leaders of the West in our time, have not grasped this.

    Islam sucks. And what sucks even more than Islam are so many recent Western leaders who have made excuse after excuse for the worst religion of all time. Ever since that most destructive decade, the1960s, the West has descended in spite of noble efforts of people like Reagan, Thatcher and Pope Benedict XVI to ward off the destruction of the West.

    But the destruction continues. Clearly.

  10. Well, God gave Canada a chance. All they had to do is round up every rump sticking up in the air and deport them. That would get a large percentage of the “devout”, who are the worst end of the problem.
