Canada: Muslim writer condemns terrorism, but suggests Israeli policy ‘responsible for Islamic extremism’

It is often repeated in the West that most Muslims are not jihadists, but are peaceful. What you don’t hear, or what is impossible to accurately calculate, is this: how many Muslims quietly support violent jihad. Or how many view it as justifiable. Also: how many Muslims fully but quietly support the supremacy of the Sharia, and its all-encompassing character. What the world does witness is justification for jihad. For instance, when Paris schoolteacher Samuel Paty was beheaded in the streets of Paris for supposedly insulting Islam, the Muslim world came to the defense of the jihadist. See also HERE.

We do know that the West does not hear: Muslims openly repudiating all of the violent verses of the Qur’an and Hadiths, as well as those which degrade women. Instead, you hear excuses such as the claim that such passages have been subject to “misinterpretation,” along with implicit justifications for Muslim violence, such as the blaming of the state of Israel for jihad terrorism. Then what was the excuse for it before the founding of Israel, throughout 1,400 years of jihad? And what’s the excuse for persecuting Christians across Africa?

“Globe & Mail Columnist Sheema Khan Condemns Islamic Terrorism, Then Immediately Appears To Suggest Israeli Policy Responsible for Islamic Extremism,” HonestReporting, December 23, 2025:

Under the guise of condemning the Islamist terrorist attack against Jews in Sydney, Australia, Globe & Mail columnist Sheema Khan used the opportunity to level unsubstantiated allegations against Israel, the very same claims that have been used to justify anti-Jewish hate crimes.

In her December 18 opinion column, “We have to confront what Ahmed al Ahmed fought on Bondi Beach,” Khan praised the actions of Ahmed el Ahmed, the Syrian man who grabbed a gun from one of the terrorists, writing that he “embodied the Quranic teaching: ‘whoever saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity.’”

While it should be noted that the teaching actually originates in the Talmud centuries earlier, Khan’s message is that el Ahmed represents what followers of Islam should aspire to, and that “Muslim communities must engage in, urgently: the fight against religious extremism,” adding “it is not enough to celebrate Mr. al Ahmed’s courage. The community must also confront who and what he fought against: a hateful, murderous ideology that is the very antithesis of Islam.”

While such sentiments are entirely appropriate, and indeed much-needed, they were soon followed by a statement which soon appeared to suggest that while Islamist terrorism is objectionable, Israeli government policies are somehow a cause.

Just after ostensibly condemning Islamist terrorism, Khan wrote that “Australian authorities have yet to indicate if the attack was related to Israel’s violence against Palestinians.”…

    The answer to your questions = a very high percentage of Muslims. They personally wouldn’t like to do jihad a la the manner of Big Mo, but they’re happy that someone is willing to do.

      • 😂. Bro, my friend who is a church boy since birth told me the new pope is for sure a conservative and we are good to go. Trust me bro… 🤣. Our generation is so screwed. I was born in Kuwait, I should probably get outta here! Kuwait is ending these bad guys.

        • I was only born there, have some memories. No we were not persecuted but some kind of guys bug people to be Islamics.

          My family came there long time ago from Iraq in the 60s, some came 90’s. There are still some down there. We came here 2005. We have been there to visit but never Iraq OUR homeland. Iraq is not great for Christians like before. Kuwait is not like Afghanistan like you think. There’s no terrorist or lgbt or crime. Lot of us also went there for few years during the wars in Iraq and then they left to the west.

          Only down side is you can never really be Kuwaiti you’re always a foreigner. Even if you’re born there legal. You stay with your own kind there go to church and don’t mix with others. They don’t like you to talk to their people about Jesus or invite people to your church. They call this “freedom of religion”…. I guess we can’t complain if we are guests, Christian guests are respectful, not like some “other” group

In the talk, Bhante Pemarathana also talked a little bit about teachings on love by Jesus (Yeshua).

      The talk is about teachings by Jesus (Yeshua) on love, and about teachings by the Buddha on wisdom, prudence, loving-kindness, compassion, and how those principles relate to each other.

    • I recall a Sri Lankan monk some years ago giving a speech and warning his followers about muslims, and what’s in islamic texts, and asking whether it’s possible to co-exist w/ such people. Thankfully, in that country, the Buddhist clergy are influential enough that none of the major parties dare go against them

      I’ve mentioned Burma in the past, but Sri Lanka too is known to crack down on muslims. During Covid, they just banned burial of muslim bodies in the country, and got nearby Maldives to agree to bury them. I’m not sure whether that ban was ever lifted

  5. Allah commands that 100% of Muslims kill or be killed for Allah to gain Paradise and make Islam supreme, aka jihad(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15, etc.).

    Islam, Allah’s genocidal ideology and Terrorist-Criminal-Gang Enterprise, in Qur’an 8:39 commands Muslims to fight Non-Muslims until Non-Muslims surrender to Muslim rule and become Muslims when Allah says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…” Demonic Allah in Qur’an 5:51 says, “O you who have believed[Muslims], DO NOT TAKE the Jews and the Nasara(Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another. And whoever among you takes them as friends, so surely he is of them. Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” Islam and its Muslims, enemies of Non-Muslims, are a Muslim Terrorist Organization(MTO).

    Allah commands Muslims to conquer and subjugate every territory for Islam using every tool available with their MONEY and with their LIVES wielding the power of the Government or the State. Hence, Islam and Muslim actions should be legally challenged with a multi-faceted force of Western Laws like Muslims wield against Westerners via Governments, Tax Exempt Organizations, the Media and Hollywood, Foreign Funding, etc. because Islam violates and is incompatible with Western Laws(Qur’an 8:60; 9:5,29, 111; 47:4; 49:15; 65:4 etc.).

    Allah describes Muslim women in Jenna, Allah’s Paradise, as whores of Allah in Qur’an 56:37. Also, Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.” See also Qur’an 60:4; 8:55.

    Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”

    Muslims are supremacist terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and with their LIVES while undermining a society from within using the man-made book of lies and deceit, the Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 says, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Allah in Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”

    MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims.

  6. Isn’t this Muslim a heretic for condemning terrorism. Calls for terrorist murders are right there in that stinking load of filth, the Koran. If you took away the hatred and calls for violence and immoral, degenerate behaviour in Islam there would be nothing there. The evil, devil worshipping load of shit, Islam, should be banned from all civilised countries. Should have happened ages ago.

    The idea that Israel created Jihad terrorism–even in Australia!–because they defend themselves against Jihad terror is of course grotesquely false. Jihad terror predates the creation of Israel by over 1300 years.

    Sheema Khan has also condemned Canada–the place that gave her family asylum–as “racist” because someone questioned the Hijab. What “race” is this, exactly? And she was given a column in the Globe and Mail right after 9/11.

    As for 9/11, she *does not* condemn this horrifying Jihad terror attack, but says that 9/11 was a “nightmare”–not for the victims and their families, but for Muslims. 20 years after 911 she wrote, “”I thought one of [Canada’s] distinguishing features was that we were nice, we were kind, we were polite. But 9/11 just took that veneer right off”–presumably Canadians are neither kind nor polite for opposing the Jihad terror of 9/11. Ugly stuff.
