Dionne Taylor was not present when the massacre took place, but she stated that “Bondi Beach was our backyard,” in a once happy place turned deadly because of Islamic antisemitism. Many of Taylor’s friends were there. As communications manager for the Australia–Israel Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC), she lives in Sydney, in an area that is only a ten-minute walk from Bondi Beach. According to Combat Antisemitism Movement, AIJAC “has warned Australian authorities about rising antisemitism since October 7th.” But in Taylor’s words, she was met with: “We must stand for all Australians,’ blah, blah, blah.”
Does this mean jihadists as well? Muslims with jihadist sympathies are not to be regarded as peaceful citizens of Western countries, where they do not belong. They are enemies who advance the Sharia. They hate Jews and they hate the West. Period. The jihad has been raging for over 1400 years. It rises and recedes depending on climate. It is now high tide for the jihad. Globalize the intifada has become the rallying cry for jihadists globally since Israel was savaged on October 7. Leftist leaders turned a blind eye to soaring antisemitism everywhere. Their coldness toward the Jewish community is obvious as they seek to protect the very elements that threaten not only Jews, but the whole of civilized Western society, all in the name of DEI and “inclusion.” In reality, leftists do not respect diversity and do not respect Jews and Christians. They are Marxists who are implementing policy which is dismantling Western institutions.

Leading Australian Jewish advocate Dionne Taylor declares Prime Minister Anthony Albanese “has blood on his hands” after the Bondi Beach massacre targeting Jewish locals celebrating Hanukkah. She described the terrorist attack as “a transformational watershed moment” for the country, while urging the left-wing PM to “call President Trump” to learn how to lead with strength in protecting citizens and countering rising threats, citing Trump’s success in combating antisemitism “on campuses and elsewhere.”
Speaking exclusively to Breitbart News from Sydney on Monday, Taylor — who serves as Communications Manager of the Australia–Israel Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC) — delivered a searing indictment of her country’s leadership in the wake of Sunday’s terror attack at a Hanukkah event, where at least 15 were killed and dozens wounded. The shooting — carried out by a father and son — has been declared a targeted antisemitic act.
“This attack must be marked as a transformational watershed moment for Australia,” Taylor said. “We’ve seen an erosion of social cohesion and democratic values, but most importantly, we’ve lost citizens.”
“It’s been escalating for over two years, and failure to act leads to this,” she added.
AIJAC is the leading voice for Australia’s Jewish community, countering antisemitism and advising government, media, and civil society.
The Jewish community had warned of escalating threats for over two years, the Sydney-based leader explained, citing targeted attacks and threats linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

“SYDNEY — Alexander Kleytman was just a boy when he fled the Holocaust and then endured a harrowing train journey to Siberia, where years of starvation left him permanently hunched. He suffered decades of antisemitism in the Soviet Union but never stopped being “a proud Jew,” his daughter, Sabina, recalled Tuesday.
It was that pride that took him every year to the Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney, where he had brought his family to live in 1992.
