The whole concept of multiculturalism and diversity, as well as the left’s favorite mantra, “Diversity Is Our Strength,” took a massive hit last Sunday in Australia, when two Islamic jihadis at Sydney’s Bondi Beach murdered fifteen Jews who were in the midst of Hanukkah celebrations, and injured forty others.

Whatever else this attack was, and it was many things, it was a massive rebuke to the whole idea that people of at least some cultures could live in peace and harmony with people of other cultures. When one of those cultures sanctifies violence under certain circumstances, and considers members of the other group to be its worst enemies (cf. Qur’an 5:82), and even dehumanizes them by saying that the supreme and only God transformed them into apes and pigs for their disobedience (Qur’an 2:63-6; 5:59-60; 7:166), it’s extremely unlikely that these two groups are going to settle down onto a bumper sticker and coexist, and on Bondi Beach, they didn’t.

  1. One part of Mr. Spencer’s article wrote “the left’s favorite mantra, ” ‘Diversity Is Our Strength,’ ”

    On lighter side of comment on hat leftist saying , the American Jewish Conservative author, Michael Savage, and talk show host had written in a subtitle section of one of his book “Diversity is Perversity.”

  3. There are some known Lefties amongst that lot.

    But it is surprising to see retired General, Sir Peter Cosgrove amongst them. Sir Peter was awarded the Military Cross for bravery (similar to US Silver Star) in Vietnam, and later effectively commanded the International Force East Timor (Interfet), responding to Indonesian violence, following an independence referendum in Timor Leste (aka East Timor), before eventually becoming the Australian Governor General.

    Some of those appearing include:

    Rachel Griffith – actress (Six Feet Under) and Director (Ride like a girl)

    Sir Peter Cosgrove, MC

    Gordon Tallis – Former Rugby League player and now sports commentator

    Kyle Sandilands – an Australian radio host, shock jock and television personality

    Nova Peris – Aboriginal athlete who was in the Gold Medal winning Australian field hockey team in the 1996 Olympics, switched to athletics and represented Australia in sprinting in 2000 Olympics and later represented the Australian Labor Party (like US Democrats) in the Australian Senate.

    Eddie McGuire – TV personality and former President of an Australian Football League club

    Johanna Griggs – former swimmer who won Bronze at Commonwealth Games and now a TV personality

    Jonathan Brown – former Australian Football League player and now a sports commentator.

    Russel Howcroft – Marketing expert and TV and radio personality

    One individual looks like Peter Stefanovic – an Australian journalist, reporter and television presenter.

    Unsure of the rest.

    But the ad raises questions:

    – who commissioned the ad?
    – who paid for it?
    – what was the ad trying to achieve, apart from encouraging the audience to remain silent about issues causing concern?
    – where is it being shown?

    • Tracked this down.

      It was an ad made and released around April 2025 for the #StandUpToHate campaign funded and initiated by several media executives, including Newscorp.

      It was not created recently in response to the Bondi Beach terrorism attack of 14 December 2025

      The #StandUpToHate campaign was a well-meaning, if naive effort intended as a show of solidarity to take a stand against racial hatred.

      The #StandUpToHate campaign called on all Australians to reject intolerance and restore the unity and respect that define our multicultural nation.

      Backed by prominent Australians and supported across all major media networks, the campaign urged us all to speak up, take action, and show the world the true spirit of Australia — one that stands for harmony, not hate.

      Obviously the Bondi Beach terrorists never saw the ad when it was released earlier in 2025, not that they would have been influenced by it at all.

      The remaining unnamed personalities were

      Hannah Hollis – TV presenter

      Li Cunxin – former Australian ballet dancer

      Lisa Sthalekar – former Captain of the Australian Woman’s Cricket Team and now sports commentator

  4. Robert Spencer in his article did make mention of the “concept of multiculturalism.”

    That and many other politically correct ideas are tragically alive in the United States “thanks’ to the Department of Education, the of the politically correct philosophy of that ideology of multiculturalism and Cultural Relativism which includes WOKE and CRT, many Westerners are infected by that worthless , sick and unrealistic philosophy.

    With its teaching of the concept that all cultures are equal, because this multiculturalism concept teaches the foolishness that all values derive their meaning within the specific social content. This folly of thinking leads, or misleads, many people to view every position as only “opinion” and that truth is only relevant to the person or society holding that view. In other words, discovering actual truth in impossible.

    Multiculturalism and Cultural Relativism are absurd, nonsensical and contradictory. For example, to say “finding the truth is impossible” Is a statement of contradiction. For in making that statement that is saying, in essence, “I have found the truth which is finding the truth is not possible.” It should be obvious that this “Cultural War’ needs to and should have a solidly based in and on truth and not by a worthless “war of opinions.”

    With the Left Wing, with their mindset of multiculturalism, they claim that there is no absolute truth but only “opinion.” On every subject. Of course, the leftist who make that claim do so as an “absolute truth.” What a flip –flop!

    Two other examples of the falseness of multiculturalism. with its teaching that everything is only “opinion.”

    First is in the late 1970’s two guys said “There are so many different religions that no one can ever know the truth about religion.” They were really saying that statement so dogmatically that they were self-contradicting. For they were saying that they know the truth about religion that is not one can know the truth about religion.

    Second, a shallow man in the 1980’s said when asked the question “Why do you always small talk ? You don’t ever talk about a topic that might have some value, as politics? After ll. all things are related “ That shallow man replied “There are so many different political ideas that finding the true one is unattainable and all things are not related.” The wisdom-less man was saying that he obtained the truth which is the he can’t obtain the truth and who does can is really truthfully say that all things are not related in he can’t find the truth. How foolish, an obvious contradiction. What is needed to counter this nonsense multiculturalism is the concept of “Absolutism.” Which a definition of this, with the scope of the topic, is “An absolute standard or principle .”

    In this cultural war it’s the Bible with its absolute standards and principles to stand firm against the extreme folly and foolishness of the multiculturalism and Cultural Relativism concepts of WOKE and CRT.

    In conclusion, in this War of Ideas a firm foundation for truth may be found in the Bible and not the weak folly of multiculturalism and Cultural Relativism in which everything is “opinion.”

  6. Australia’s culture was brought to the nation by English immigrants – essentially expelled from their home country. As it grew and prospered as part of western civilization Australia welcomed immigrants from other countries – both nearby and far away.
    To me, when you enter another’s house you are agreeing to assimilate with their culture – ethics and values. You don’t have to give up all of your traditions – religions or other – but you agree to become a citizen of your new home.
    These jihadists clearly do NOT agree with assimilating into western culture so WHY are they allowed in?

    • Most of the immigrants that first came to Australia came from all over Britain and were not just English… Just a bit of information for you matey.

  7. As the woman says in the video, “it’s time to stand up to hate”, it is, But that hate is coming from one direction only, muslimes and the islamic world. It’s time to confront them, it’s time to stand up to them.

    • John, I was thinking (and still am) the same thing.
      They say “stand up to hate,” but the muzzies who *hate* are being allowed to overwhelm the nations and force their evil onto everyone else.
      And if the evil isn’t accepted, tolerated, and praised, then murder is their answer.

      Then, after the murders, whining and this kind of nonsense take over, demanding that the hate that isn’t there is demolished, while the hate that is there, is fawned over and allowed to grow as the numbers of haters increases.

      • Somehistory, a lot of people are becoming far more aware of the evils of islam these days than they were 5 or 10 years ago. But unfortunately the majority of people (our leaders in particular) still believe islam is a benign religion just like Christianity. Unless they wake up and confront the fact that muslims hate us and are here to destroy us. islam will continue to engulf us all.

      “holy” books tell them to do.
      So stand up to “armed hate” with “armed resistance.”
      Islam does not leave you another a choice.

      Unless you can Ban Islam at your countries Borders.

  8. I remembers that lame ad from earlier this year when the run up to the election was on. Then I saw it again after the atrocity at Bondi probably to try to calm things down. How can diversity work with evil Islam. Kill the non believers wherever you find them. That is diversity for you. Muslims hate us, want to kill us,etc. letting Muslims into any non Muslim society is suicidal and is the dumbest move ever.

    “New South Wales, the Australian state in which the Bondi Beach mass shooting took place last week, has proposed a ban on public displays of extremist flags and icons, as well as expanding the qualification for certain phrases, the Associated Press reported on Saturday.

    New South Wales Premier Chris Minns said Saturday that “hate speech or incitement of hatred has no place in our society.””

    • People of certain countries (the you know who’s) should start posting material that is directly out of the koran without attributing it to islam and the koran. Then they can sit back and wait for the hate police to kick down their doors for posting hate speech. Oh what fun that could be.

        Perhaps they could create stickers with quotes from Quran and Hadith. Plaster them around on buildings, bus stops, public spaces, bathroom stalls etc. Do so carefully,
        avoid finger prints in the adhesive and surroundings, and anonymously, dress like you are on camera, like taggers do. Only this would serve a real purpose.
        To give the citizens info about the source of all that Hate.
        It can be amazing what you can do when you don’t need to take credit.

    • Just waiting for them to ban 🇦🇺 as well as the various state flags – be it NSW, Queensland, Victoria….. Why not copy Britain here as well? In the past, Australia used to look more like emulating the US, but nowadays, it wants to emulate the UK, w/ results there for us all to see
