Conditions in Afghanistan are steadily deteriorating, and the reason why is as simple as it is devastating: the Taliban simply don’t care about such matters. As long as the population is obeying Islamic rules, that’s all that matters to the jihad group that holds power. Allah will take care of all the rest, and if he doesn’t see fit to improve the lot of his zealous people in central Asia, they must accept their lot with resignation.
The latest catastrophe to hit this long-suffering people is a growing lack of potable drinking water. Kabul Now reported Monday that according to the European Union’s humanitarian office for the Asia-Pacific region, no fewer than “21 million people in Afghanistan do not have access to safe drinking water.”

The rich Islamic countries (and people) do not help their muslim fellows. Very typical of Islam, if it doesn’t benefit them, then they won’t help.

Yes, they see it as Jizya. It’s only right that the Infidels show their submissiveness by giving money to Islam. Money Islam didn’t even have to ask for! The Infidels just know their inferiority, and feel compelled to express it, by giving Islam money.

I was one of those people who thought that when people in the world experienced what The West had to offer, like safe drinking water, education, real medicine etc. and that they could have it too, they would happily and gratefully adopt “democracy” etc.
As you know, I was in for a rude awakening. Because my beliefs didn’t line up with Reality.
Humans are very attached to their cultures version of Reality, their Stories. Islam is such a Story.
There are people who would rather live in the Stone Age and keep their Story. The only part of the Western Story Islam is interested in, is Western weapons. And that’s so they can use them against other tribes and The West. They remind me of Native Americans when the two Stories, that of the Native American, and that of the Europeans, collided. Indians happily adopted the Horse and the Gun/Rifle but wanted to keep the rest of their own Story. They wanted Horses and Guns to defeat other tribes and the White Man.
It seems there are only two ways someone changes Stories: If they choose to, like when Immigrants legally went to the U.S. to become Americans. Or in the face of total annihilation by overwhelming force, like the atomic force faced by WW2 Japan. Even then ,they had to be convinced by their Death Cult’s
God-Emperor to surrender their Story and submit to a New Story.
