Zohran Mamdani: A Polished ‘Progressive Muslim’ Driving Pro-Jihad Narratives and Hatred of Hindus

It is now confirmed that last week’s massive blast in India’s national capital was carried out by Islamic jihad suicide bomber Umar un Nabi, underscoring yet again that academic qualifications alone do not shield individuals from turning to jihad. For most Indians, it is hardly surprising that an educated and professionally established Muslim man turned out to be a terrorist. In fact, the average non-Muslim Indian is well aware of how a significant section of this community openly defends such suicide bombers. These so-called “moderate Muslims,” who do not shy away from acting as apologists for Islamic terrorists, are often found in the elite sections of society, both in India and abroad.

Many Western readers may not realize this, but New York’s newly elected Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s father was an educated Muslim academic known for openly sympathizing with jihadist narratives. Mahmood Mamdani, a Ugandan scholar, author, and political theorist of Indian origin, is widely respected in Islamo-leftist ideological circles as an outspoken intellectual specializing in decolonization studies. But there is much more to him. In his zeal to criticize Western interventions, colonialism, and global power structures, Mahmood Mamdani has repeatedly humanized terrorists and suicide bombers in his writings.

In his book When Victims Become Killers, Mamdani falsely alleges that Hindus committed genocide against Muslims in India. Historical records, however, clearly establish the opposite: Muslim invaders-turned-rulers began the genocide of Hindus over a thousand years ago. This brutality continued for centuries, and culminated in the run-up to India’s partition, through bloody anti-Hindu pogroms such as the Noakhali riots and the Calcutta killings. It did not end there; it continued for decades after partition in tragedies such as the mass massacre and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. In his 2004 book Good Muslim, Bad Muslim, Mahmood Mamdani even argues that suicide bombers or fidayeen should be regarded as “soldiers.”

As the saying goes, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Zohran Mamdani appears to have inherited his admiration for Islamic jihadists from his father. Blatant Hinduphobia, anti-India disinformation, and antisemitism marked his entire mayoral campaign, while he carefully packaged himself as a “progressive Muslim.” In reality, Mamdani Jr. espouses a pro-jihad worldview, building his political career on Hindu hate, distortion of facts, and the propagation of lies to advance Islamic interests in the Western world, while cultivating sympathy for jihad-sympathizing Muslim populations through fabricated narratives of victimhood.

A vocal supporter of Palestinian “freedom fighters,” Mamdani once described the establishment of the Ram Mandir as “a celebration of the destruction of a mosque.” He is a well-educated man and fully aware of historical facts: the Ram Mandir was reclaimed after an Islamic invader demolished the original temple 600 years ago and built a mosque over its ruins. However, when history does not fit his narrative, Mamdani and his ideological allies conveniently overlook it.

The mayor-elect has also claimed, only months ago, that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a war criminal who “left no Muslims alive” in Gujarat after the 2002 riots. He conveniently omits the fact that the violence was triggered after hundreds of Muslims set a train on fire, burning alive 59 Hindu devotees of Lord Ram, including women and children. Mamdani hides these facts because they do not fit into his carefully crafted narrative of Muslim victimhood, which he sells easily to his gullible Western voter base.

Over the past ten years, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad has arrested several Islamic terrorists linked to ISIS and Al-Qaeda. There have also been numerous cases of rape, sexual exploitation, kidnapping, and forced conversion of Hindu women, including minors, in the state. So much for Mamdani’s claim that “no Muslims were left in Gujarat after 2002.”

Zohran Mamdani’s hatred for Hindus runs so deep that he once openly provoked his opponents to hurl abuse at the Hindus while leading an anti-Ram Mandir protest in New York in 2020. A now-viral video shows the New York mayor-elect leading a mob of protestors in Times Square, calling Hindus “harami” (bastards) and heaping abuses upon Lord Rama, who Hindus worship, and thus winning roaring approval from the large Muslim vote bloc he targets in his political calculations.

During a recent “emotional speech” in October, Mamdani accused his opponents of “racist, baseless attacks.” Yet the only thing baseless so far is his own anti-Hindu rhetoric and fabricated claims of Muslim persecution. Mamdani has made his Muslim identity the centerpiece of his political persona, which has helped him consolidate the Muslim vote bloc, much like London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who enjoys similar support from a unified community that votes collectively, regardless of individual preferences.

As long as Zohran Mamdani remains the mayor of New York, Hindus will have to live under the looming fear of targeted violence and attacks by jihad groups that the administration emboldened and shielded. And given the trajectory of his rhetoric, it would surprise no Hindu if, one day, he glorifies the Islamic suicide bomber involved in the recent Delhi blast and commemorates him as a “soldier” or “freedom fighter.” The Pakistan-backed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad literally translates to “The Army of Prophet Muhammad,” after all.

  4. I’d like to see an article of the oh so many jihadist slaughters and attacks done in India by Muslims over the last 1000yrs. A guy in my town happened to stay at the Mumbai Chabad house in India back in I think it was 2008 or so, about two months before the slaughterers came to murder so many Indias and went out of their way to go to the one Jewish house of prayer and learning and slaughtered the rabbi, his wife and one of his kids, as well as slicing off his genitals, and killing her eight month or so fetus. And I’ve never heard of any marches or demonstrations by muslims there or anywhere over the savagery of that one, the kind that the ‘innocent’ majority are supposed to be against.

      Moderate Muslim is a propaganda term. There’s decent Muslims, MAYBE 10% or less. Then there’s the majority who believe in the Quran and hadith as straightforward commands to engage in jihad, slavery, and all the other horrible things Muslims believe. Never take the fact that they believe these commandments come from a god lightly.

    • Precisely! There are killings in India, but more often than not, it’s Hindus who are killed, like in 2008 (along w/ those Chabad House Jews). For all their claims of being an intimidated minority, mohammedans are about as aggressive in India as they are in both Pakistan and Bangladesh. In fact, more Hindus are targeted in India than in either of the other 2 countries

    • I’ve read Pakistan’s ISI ordered their mohammedan drones to attack Chabad House. I believe it was attacked even before the hotel.

  7. Can confirm. The Mamdani Muslims were going door to door to talk about their policies.

    I had a interesting conversation with a group and it lead to talking about India and the Muslims were making a case that India was Muslim last under some Islamic caliphate there, so they should be the ones to decide x y z. And this whole set up was unfair because I guess they said Muslims were “trapped” inside India, whatever that means.

    I also heard Bangladesh is actually only 1/4 of what it should be and they say they want a chunk of India to go back to the Muslims. These people are from that Bangladesh and they’re all for Mamdani. They want more wage, and more benefits, cheaper rent and cheaper grocery, free healthcare.

    • Interesting how despite getting Pakistan and Bangladesh, it’s not enough. That’s b’cos of islam’s Orwellian terminology; as long as Hindus (and Buddhists and Sikhs and Jews and Jains and Parsis and Christians) exist, mohammedans are being persecuted. What those guys said was an illustration of how to tell you that they want Hindus exterminated w/o telling you that they want Hindus exterminated

      Also, Bangladesh was created in 1971 ostensibly on linguistic lines: East Pakistanis were not speakers of Urdu, which is totally different from Bengali, and therefore pushed back against the Pakistani government’s decision to force Urdu as a common national language. But today, that raison d’être seems to have totally flipped: a number of that country’s muslims have started using the Nastaliq script – used in both Arabic and Urdu – to write Bengali, instead of the native script that’s normally used

      I have also seen maps of Bangladeshi jihadist claims to the entire eastern quarter of India. Of those states, only two – West Bengal and Tripura – are Bengali speaking, while in Assam, Bengali is widely understood, due to the similarities b/w Bengali and Assamese. None of the other states in the north east – Bihar, Jharkhand, Odhisa, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal or Meghalaya – are Bengali speaking, nor are they muslim (not counting the Bangladeshis who have illegally poured in). Despite that, these jihadists want all that territory so that they can do there what they have been doing in Bangladesh throughout their history in general, and the last 4 years in particular

      Despite having no Bengali ancestry for 2 generations, Mamdani is fluent in Bengali, in addition to Urdu – something he’s obviously done to ingratiate himself to those thugs from that 💩🕳️

        Their argument was that there was not enough Muslim land given to Muslim countries after the British left. How can they ignore the fact India is like 70 percent Hindu.

        These people are delusional I wouldn’t worry about their claims of India being a chicken as they say, Bangladesh is a minnow. Muslims should be happy with what they got.

        I don’t understand why you would bring this political issue to our country… Shouldn’t they be concerned about us?

        • India is either the 2nd most populous mohammedan state on the face of the planet. India has the unique “observer” status in the OIC — probably in expectation of it eventually becoming another islamic state.

      • Approximately a million Hindus were butchered in Bangladesh after its secession from Pakistan. I’ve read thousands of Hindu women were also raped by moslems during this genocide. And while all this was going on George Harrison and the rest of the western degenerates held their Concert for Bangladesh, while carefully ignoring what was really going on there (incl. the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi).

        • These door to door Muslims say supposedly , Muslims have some major advantage over India, and India is a “chickens neck” and they can choke it any time when opportunity comes….

          What I don’t get is that India freed and helped Bangladesh, but these Bangladesh people seem to hate India so fanatically that they want to choke India.

          They also say India is blocking Muslims right to refugee in India , and their relatives are being picked on.

  8. Was Mamdani’s election fixed before the vote, by who the opposing candidates were? I still can’t believe the Republican Party couldn’t have found a better candidate or a third party put up a strong contender than those two. N.Y. City will become a mess under Mamdani, and it won”t take long.

      I wish that the GOP both at city, state and nationwide level had united behind, if not Sliwa, behind Irene Estrada, the Conservative Party candidate. She too would have lost, but the GOP would have been united. It’s ridiculous that there were Republicans reluctantly endorsing a thug like Cuomo

      • I voted for Cuomo…. You dot. Understand NY. Sliwa could not win, and we are worried about going to the extreme left, an Islamist movement forming, and Jews (valuable citizens) would be run out, with their money gone. Our tax would sky rocket. We can’t afford a tax increase like what’s coming to make up for what the evil Jews pay, we would have to make that up plus some to pay the Muslims programs off.

        I have people and I can’t get them out. It’s tough being a landlord. They flood it, and can’t even make the subsidized rent. Mamdani will likely let them stay forever and not pay me.

        May not understand that the “American Dream” is something to be earned not something given to them.
