Ilhan Omar stood recently before a crowd of fellow Somalis and gave a shoutout to the President of Somalia, calling him “our president” and Somalia “our country” at a rally in Minneapolis, the city she represents in Congress. US President Donald Trump called for anti-Israel US Rep. Ilhan Omar to go home in a Truth Social post on Saturday, following a video of the politician calling the Somalian president “our president” and praising Somalia as her home at a Minneapolis rally.
Omar, speaking in her native language, Somali, and with a large poster of Somalian President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud behind her, said that she was “very honored to have the chance that our president, president of Somalia, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, let us give him a warm welcome, Minneapolis.”
Not “the president of Somalia,” but, tellingly, “our president, the president of Somalia.”
She also claimed that she and Mohamud have a “very close relationship. I call him uncle, and he calls me his girl.” The crowd erupted into applause following this statement.
“Welcome to your home, our home is your home, Minneapolis,” she continued. “We are very happy that Hassan is our president. Somalia is our home. It is home to all the people gathered here. We do not feel that it is far from us. Somalia is our heart. It is in our hearts. We always think about Somalia.”…
Yes, she always thinks about Somalia, and in previous speeches has promised that in Congress she will always look out for Somalia’s interests. In referring to Somali’s despotic ruler Hassan Sheikh Mohamud as “our president,” she appears to have forgotten the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance she took in 2000, which starts, “I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen.”
What an outpouring of affection in her latest speech, but not for the United States, the country that has provided her with everything, with power at the national level, a net worth of between $5 and $30 million (whose origin deserves to be investigated), the admiration of millions of so-called “progressives” who admire Ilhan for her hatred of Israel. No, her country is Somalia, her people are the Somali people, her president is not the American Trump, but the Somali president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, whom she admires and calls “uncle,” apparently indifferent to the fact that Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is a ruthless despot, now changing the Somali constitution to concentrate power in himself.
In a speech she delivered on June 12, Ilhan Omar described America as having become “one of the worst countries” in the world. Does she still think so? And if so, why doesn’t she go back to Somalia, and provide her native land, to which she has remained so deeply attached all these years, and which is clearly superior to the country, America, in which she finds herself living, with the benefit of her own brilliance? Goodness, she might even run for president of Somalia. While she has most remarkably managed over the last few years to accumulate a fortune of between $5 and $30 million, she could do even better back in the land of her birth. According to Somali dissidents, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is the 11th richest man in Africa, with a net worth of $980 million. Now we’re talking real money. Such sums must be mouth-watering to a material girl such as Ilhan Omar. Yes, by all means encourage her to return to Somalia and make her fortune there. I’d be glad to see her off at the airport. Wouldn’t you?

Yes, Omar is living bigly, more bigly than would be possible in Somalia where her personal history might garner Islamic Law attention, yet, while in the USA, breaking its immigration laws and honing personal infidelity, as a protected class, causes no concern.
Imagine, as a most influential Somali in the USA, how often she must be adored by other Somali-Americans and illegal Somali immigrants seeking something. The praises must reach to the heavens and a stylish hijab keeps the serious Somali-Americans believing she is Islamic at heart while working her way to more power. One can imagine a Netflix episodic portrayal of her life at some future date, involving a personal, political, and extended family climb to higher, more influential rungs of the food chain with some voyeur tidbits added.
And Omar’s wealth? It is power, the rungs to climb the social ladder, not wealth itself that is important. Cultivated Power will always be rewarded with wealth – note the Obamas and Clintons.
If Somali-Americans were scattered across the USA, there would be no Somali-American US Representative, thus no Omar in power. It is the very Islamic enclaves refusal to integrate into the larger society which produces and gives their representatives power to insult their democratic Western nations and excercise power against a nation’s interest with confidence. Note the EU.
And when “uncle” Hassan Sheikh Mohamud comes calling, what transaction is being conducted behind the scene? You will need to wait for the Netflix drama to find out.

You are totally right. Foreign aid is the biggest ripoff scam out politicians have ever come up with. It is no different than aiding the enemy. Charity should come from the people NOT the Government. No one in America should be going hungry or living on the streets, and the list goes on, but we give BILLIONS of our Tax Dollars to foreign countries and their leaders. WHY? Most of these countries that take our money still hate us.

Ilhan Omar is an actual reminder that one misconception that many Americans have is that of the term used in the West, which is “political Islam.” That term is nonsensical and redundant as well as unknown in the Islamic world.
Therefore, it needs to be made clear as to why that Western term is nonsensical and redundant. As explained by two statements.
First, as for that term being nonsensical one devout Muslim who, truly, proclaimed “Islam is Islam.”

We may be sure that much of that money that Ilhan Omar has obtain will go into that insidious subversive and dangerous stealth jihad. There is no reason to allow this woman to stay in the U.S. She has betrayed her oaths of loyalty to the U.S. She clearly has claimed Minneapolis for Somalia. Possibly the entire state.
