Sharia law is incompatible with Western free societies, and any Muslim group/organization which embraces it is thus ideologically incompatible with Western society mores. No aspect of Sharia law which encroaches on the freedoms of Western societies should be tolerated on Western soil. The Islamophobia subterfuge has been an effective tool in slowly chipping away at the cornerstone of free societies — the freedom of speech. Muslim groups are yet again attempting to wield the “Islamophobia” battering ram in the UK: “Islamic Organizations in the UK Call for a Unified Definition of Islamophobia,” Taghrib News, November 23, 2025:
According to the latest data from the UK Home Office, hate crimes against Muslims in England and Wales increased by 20 percent over the past year. These attacks targeted Muslims both on racial and religious grounds. Despite Muslims being the second-largest religious group in the UK after Christians, the term “Islamophobia” still lacks an official, agreed-upon definition.
Government Efforts to Define Islamophobia
The UK government announced that on February 28 it had formed a working group composed of Muslim community representatives, academics, and independent experts to draft a new definition. After months of work, the group submitted its report last month. The government stated that the new definition aims to end long-standing disputes over the issue and provide a clear framework to combat discrimination experienced by Muslims.
Concerns from Muslim Organizations
Muslim organizations stressed that the lack of an official definition prevents accurate documentation of discrimination.
Dr. Wajid Akhtar, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), explained: “Without an official definition, hate crimes against Muslims—and even against those mistakenly perceived as Muslims—remain invisible. If people don’t know what to report, how to report it, or where to report it, they won’t report anything.”
He recalled that after 9/11, the first person killed in a hate crime was a Sikh man mistaken for a Muslim, and more recently, a Hindu elder was murdered under the same false assumption. “This shows why a definition is essential—without it, measuring, reporting, or creating mechanisms to combat Islamophobia is impossible,” Akhtar said.
Political Resistance and the “Islamophobia Industry”
Akhtar argued that opposition from far-right groups, certain think tanks, and MPs stems from an “industry built on Islamophobia.” He added: “Some politicians build their careers on the narrative of Islamophobia. The more hate speech increases, the more powerful they become.” He also warned that misinformation online is exploited by domestic and foreign actors to destabilize the UK…
The notion that Muslim organizations are advancing, that a “lack of an official definition prevents accurate documentation of discrimination,” is not simply nonsensical. It’s trickery. Western countries have one law for everyone, which includes all crimes, many including the specialized category of hate crimes, such as the Public Order Act of 1986, which covers behavior(s) intended to stir up racial, religious, or sexual hatred. The Sentencing Act of 2020 empowers courts to impose more severe penalties for offenses which were motivated by hostility based on race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or transgender identity. But Muslim groups don’t want to have a status that is equal to that of everyone else. They demand superior treatment, and they seek a definition of “Islamophobia” that is consistent with the one that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) uses. The OIC has published an “Islamophobia Observatory” since 2007.
The OIC defines “Islamophobia” as follows:
Islamophobia is a combination of hate, fear, and prejudice against Islam, against Muslims, as well as against anything associated with the religion, such as Mosques, Islamic Centers, Holy Qur’an, Hijab, etc. It also constitutes hatred, stigmatization, racism and discriminations in daily life, on Media, at workplace, in political sphere, etc. It rests in the mind and it reflects in attitudes, and could be manifested through violent actions, such as burning mosques, vandalizing properties, abusing women wearing scarf, or insulting Prophet or sacred symbols of Islam. That is more or less, how Islamophobia identifiable, how it manifests, which can be seen not only from incidents, but also through perspectives, statements, behavior, and gestures. Since the last two decades, Islamophobia keeps growing in some parts of the world, through intensive campaigns and public discourses disseminating fear of Islam, and through significant number of incidents targeting Muslims, mosques, Islamic attires, and Islamic most-revered figures.
The broad OIC definition covers what is already covered under existing Western laws, such as violence, but it also references “insulting Prophet” and “perspectives, statements, behavior, and gestures.” Such a definition is consistent with the Sharia; it violates the freedom of expression, and thus must be rejected.
In 2019, the Labour party adopted a working definition of “Islamophobia” from the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on British Muslims, which included the statement: “Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness.”
Because of its open-ended, vague definition, it potentially aligns with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s definition in a broad fashion, and it allows Muslim lobbies plenty of leeway to push their agenda insidiously into mainstream society.
The definition that the APPG put forth in 2019 was outrageous. It allows, for instance, British citizens to be accused of “Islamophobia” when they complain about Muslims encroaching upon British culture with their Sharia provisions. For example, the niqab can be put forth as an expression of “Muslimness.” Opposing it is not “Islamophobic,” but is, rather, a defense of Western values and the principle of equal rights for women. It is also a security issue.
If a Muslim believes that his or her “Muslimness” is at odds with Western society and culture, he or she should return to human rights-abusing Sharia-friendly countries. Such people could then enjoy the entire range of “Muslimness.” The only official definition of anti-Muslim bigotry that should be allowed in the West involves any crimes committed under the country’s hate laws.
No one should suffer bigotry for their choice of religion, but if any religion interfered with the rights of a free society, then that doctrine should be called out and rejected. To do so is not bigotry. It is prudence.
A new definition of “Islamophobia” emerged last month, and UK ministers are seriously considering it, according to the Guardian. It is “expected to protect the freedom to criticise Islam.” However, it appears to do no such thing. The report is labeled “private,” and we are told that “the government may choose not to publish it or to drop the project entirely.” It’s an oxymoron that any government which expresses an intention to protect the freedom of speech would declare such a crucial report “private.” The full report should be revealed, scrutinized by the public, and openly discussed. One must keep in mind that the same Labour Party which adopted the outrageous working definition of Islamophobia involving “Muslimness” from the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on British Muslims in 2019 is now governing the UK. The so-called “private” report on the new definition is likely one that would cause an uproar in Britain if revealed, and almost certainly advances Sharia interests and again appeases Muslims. Otherwise, why the secrecy?
The term “Islamophobia,” which denotes an irrational fear of Islam, has no place in the laws of the UK, or those of any Western society. Muslim groups typically condemn as “far right” anyone who stands in the way of spreading Islam in the West. In manipulating their propaganda, they also smear prudent warnings about the Sharia agenda as part of an “Islamophobia industry” — as the left dutifully follows along.

My definition (actual words may vary day to day) is: A word coined to cause infidels to zip their lips to the Truth about islime.
The “ophobia” comes from that other word used to silence people who regard same sex activities as, at the very least, unnatural.
muzzies saw how that word worked to silence people, and in 2011 decided, with hellary clinton’s assistance, to BANDY the made-up word about in order to “shame” Americans into silence. It’s easy to see then why the islime phobia has an *o* in the middle.
This coined word about something that does not exist, as other real phobias do, is applied by muzzies and their cohorts in crime to anything muzzies dislike.
muzzies don’t want to hear infidels saying anything about their fake god, their book of demon filth, or their fake prophet unless it’s in praise of those feculent things.
muzzies roll out the ophobia if one of their own gets an unhappy look from an infidel, or infidels have any questions with truthful answers exposing the evil filth of their demonic belief system.
In Truth, there is no such thing as their ‘ophobia’ except as they can use the made-up word of fiction to silence their opposers.

So will there be a shi’a definition of islamophobia, a sunni definition of it and other definitions by others? Whose definition will be the ultimate definition of islamophobia, and what would be the criteria? Maybe Parliament can put together a committee that can present a definition before the next elections

How can they have a “unified” definition without the various sects and groups being “unified”?

Islam is a totalitarian ideology of hatred and terrorism. Allah in Islam’s Qur’an stirs hatred against Christians and Non-Muslims when Qur’an 5:14 says, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.” Also, Allah offers more hatred to Non-Muslims when Qur’an 60:4 teaches, “…We became infidels in you, and the enmity and the enduring hatred between us and you will appear forever until you believe in Allah alone…”. Hence, Allah’s satanic hatred is further carried and taught by Muslims against Non-Muslims.
Tony says
Allah teaches and promotes terrorism, hatred, and violence by Muslims against Jews and Christians because Infidelity, Unbelief, and Blasphemy against Islam are a CRIME AGAINST ALLAH(Qur’an 5:51, 82; 9:29; 60:4; 98:6-7; 49:14-15; etc.).
EVERY Muslim prayer begins with Qur’an 1:1-, cursing Jews and Christians 15+ times a day. Demonic Allah in Qur’an 5:51 says, “O you who have believed[Muslims], DO NOT TAKE the Jews and the Nasara(Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another. And whoever among you takes them as friends, so surely he is of them. Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” See also Qur’an 2:63-65; 3:115; 4:144; 5:59-60, 82; 7:18; 11:119; 32:13,166; 48:29; 98:6-7. Moreover, Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”. Allah desires to fill hell with Non-Muslims because they DO NOT ACCEPT Islam to become Muslims(Qur’an 7:18; 11:119; 32:13, 35:8, etc.). Thus, Muslims grow up with a sense of entitlement, power, superiority, and acceptance of violence.

It is really difficult, nay, impossible to define something that clearly does not exist, like islamophobia…and palestine.

Muslims always treat non members of their evil, barbaric cult like shit wherever they have power so Muslims deserve to be hated and treated like shit. If they want be liked they should ditch Islam and treat people well.

Tim,
I could not have put it better

Tim gallagher says
Thank, Eddie. It seems obvious that, if you want to be liked then you treat people well but, of course, that would be in Islamic. Then again a lot of people in our societies still treat Muslims well which Muslims don’t deserve
Michael Paul Skok says
Islamophobia is an oxymoron of Islam. Islam wants to bring fear to the infidels. Then when we infidels tremble in fear, Islam says we are guilty of Islamophobia.
Brian Ozzy says
There is already an excellent explanation of islamaphobia by Andrew Cummins who said that “Islamophobia is a word created by fascists, and used by cowards, to manipulate morons.”
You could not get a more succinct, honest and accurate assessment of the word than that. What’s wrong with all these government sycophantic incompetents who are thrashing around trying to find a more inaccurate sentence to appease these muslim scum bags?
Brian Ozzy says
Andrew Cummins gave a perfect, lucid and accurate explanation of the word islamophobia when he said that Islamophobia is “a word created by fascists, and used by cowards, to manipulate morons.”
Why does the sycophantic Government need to modify that to pander to the sensibilities of the Muslim whiners?

Defining a word that actually doesn’t exist until Islam shows up in non-islamic countries and attempts to force their ass backward so called religion on others. Islam is a political movement hell bent on ruling the world by any means possible. Islam has NO problem slaughtering thousands of innocent men, women and children to force their rule on others. Where they can’t do that they use the migration invasion and political power from it.
So if ISLAMOPHOBIA, is the telling of the truth about Islam, then I’m guilty and proud of it.
