If (and only if) Trump does this, a lot of would-be jihadis would have to leave the country. The Democrats, however, will fight him every step of the way, and ensure that as many jihadis and other criminals stay here as they possibly can.

  1. Fully agree w/ him. The icing on this cake is that not only will jihadists be gone: a whole bunch of foreign, Leftist malcontents will be gone as well

    • Islam is the problem. That would include Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, UAE and 40+ other nations. No person from those nations should be allowed in the US even temporarily.

          I have a very basic question.

          How do you vet someone anyway?

          What do you rely on?
          Do you ask them questions on a form?
          How do you verify their answers or information?
          What process could you possibly have in
          place that would adequately protect U S citizens
          from people known for violence and terrorism?

          David Wood described this problem by pointing out that if a muslim came to your country, and was a completely peaceful person, had no intention of causing any damage or upheaval, and you asked him, he’d tell you precisely that.

          Now if a Dawagandist or a Jihadist muslim came and you asked him his intentions, he’d tell you exactly what the previous guy above said

          Which is why it’s impossible to vet mohammedans just based on their statements alone. One would have to check his past criminal record, if any, his social media and other such data to find out what s/he really is before allowing him/her into the country. If one fails to find it, non-admission should be the default

          Honestly, it does sound a tad unfair to a genuinely peaceful muslim, but that’s the price of his co-religionists perfecting taquiyya to the extent that it’s impossible to tell him apart from them. Ideal thing for them to do is secretly apostatize, practice their own taquiyya w/ muslim by pretending to partake in their festivals (just to avoid a 🎯 being drawn on them, and trying to make it to a non-muslim country and then openly converting to that country’s major religion (become a Christian if coming here, a Jew if going to Israel, a Hindu if going to India and so on)

      • I don’t know of too many from Qatar, Saudi Arabir or Emirates who are here, except the occasional soldiers who’re being trained by us – and that too should end: training should be in their countries and military bases. Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh and some 40+ other countries should definitely be banned

          Individual Muslims could be individually peaceful.
          (They’d just be impious Muslims.)

          Islam is not peaceful by its own definitions.
          Islam is incompatible with Western law.

          Even with peaceful Muslims the following applies:
          “Radical” Muslims are a Snake in the Grass.
          “Moderate” Muslims are the Grass.

          The safety and security of it’s citizens is the First
          Duty of a country’s government. If any principle
          conflicts with that First Duty, that principle loses.

    • Yep, the district judges are so biased against Trump that they will rationalize every suit as worthy of declaring Trump’s actions unconstitutional, illegal, did not conforming to practices and guidelines, etc. Thye must have a book of ‘roadblock’ excuses to block any Trump order. Wonder who wrote that book of sabotage?

      • Much of the US Judiciary has gone rogue and have become domestic enemies. That is no surprise when you understand the intentions of domestic enemy law schools where they studied and obtained their credentials. They may believe they are above their version of the law but they are not above the peoples version of the law. They live comfortably while poking the eye of the people that make that comfortable life possible. They are not as smart as they think they are.

Of course it’s a given that those internal enemies of America, among them being the MSM, academia, a good portion of the American judiciary and the Democratic Party will call Trump racist, Islamophobic, blah, blah, blah, for attempting to implement this completely sane and sensible initiative.

    Ah, if only America had the luxury of external enemies, as it did during the Cold War. But now the greatest enemies of America are virtually all internal and one knows this or should know it. Alas, so many still do not, including the Bushes and Romneys and their ilk.

  4. Permanently stop ALL immigration from ALL Countries….PERIOD ! Never in the history of our country have we had constant immigration year after year as we have for the past 60 years! There has always been a 10-20 pause in immigration after a 5 year influx. It has been constant since the Johnston administration. Assimilation needs to take its course……..with NO IMMIGRATION FROM ISLAMIC COUNTRIES, INDEFINITELY.

      • I’d say yes. As some of our British posters have noted, it’s not just muslims, but other Third World people from Africa & the Caribbean who’re just as much a problem. Don’t assume that every Nigerian Christian would be a Kami Badenoch. South Sudan is a Christian breakaway country from Sudan, and it’s pretty much a failed state: being “Christian” didn’t make it, say, an 80’s South Africa (sans the Apartheid)

        I don’t totally disagree w/ John Jake. We had 0 immigration from 1900 to 1940, and looks like we might need a decade or more of that before we can sort out who’s here, remove the ones who shouldn’t be, and digest the naturalized ones. After that, in say 20 years, we can revisit the issue

  5. I voted for Trump three times–albeit not very enthusiastically–but disagree with him on this one.

    And, please keep in mind that Uncle Kepha is someone who believes that the organizers of the Biden-era migrant caravans need to be arrested and charged with however many counts of human trafficking, as well as a number of other violations of the USC.

    For one thing, what does he mean by “Third World”? Does it include the Pacific Rim (from whence and where I have family)” The Balkans? Does it include the beleaguered Christians of Iraq and Syria? While targeting certain countries that are breeding grounds for terrorism would be an excellent move, not all Third World immigration is necessarily hostile or unassimilable. Further, much of it comes playing by the rules. I joke with some of my Chinese immigrant friends who are very grateful for the political climate found here that they’ve decided that “a harsh government is fiercer than white people —oops, a tiger” (word play on one of Confucius’ sayings from the Li Ji, or Book of Rites).

    I would certainly want to keep the door open for Christians fleeing persecution in both Islamic and Marxist countries. In the Obama years, a little not-all-white girl from Cuba, who surely was born, educated, and raised under “la revolucion” came into my English Language Development class, saw a Che Guevara icon on a Central American classmate’s bag, and audibly let out an audible gasp, “”El asesino!” (the murderer!). I would suspect we have a real 150% American in the making there.

    Further, I call for the rectification of names. “Immigrant”–whether Third of First World–is not a synonym for “undocumented” alien. It simply means that someone has moved in from somewhere else. Unfortunately, Mr. Trump seems to have fallen for a rhetorical trap set by the Left (and into which the Leftists themselves have fallen) in turning “immigrant” into a synonym for “illegal”. Hence some tease him about what his wife and parents-in-law are. But, instead of rectifying terms, Mr. Trump continues to leave the naturalized (as opposed to natural-born) citizen, lawful permanent resident (“green card holders”) , and screened-in asylum seeker in a kind of semantic limbo.

    To be sure, the deportation system needs to be well-oiled and functional. But we also have a lot of foreign-born in this country who are very grateful for the opportunity they have found, law-abiding, and accepting of the traditional political and cultural mores of the host population.

    I am largely European by descent, and have been seen as a white man all my life. I have even been called racist because I diagree with certain progressive party lines. But I have run into certain West African immigrants (admittedly, Christian and heavily Europeanized) who would make better Americans than many of Europe’s political and cultural leaders (I recall the bad influences brought in by certain Weimar cultural figures of yesteryear).

    Besides, a lot of immigrants, regardless of national origins, want to assimilate. But it’s the Ilhan Omars and Tlaibs who get the headlines–and I agree that such people who do nothing but complain about what an evil, racist, Islamophobic the USA is ought to leave.

    • I’d define “Third World” as
      ⮞ All of Africa (including South Africa, and including sheikhdom-like Morocco)
      ⮞ Every country West of India – from Kazakhstan to Pakistan, and from Pakistan to Gambia. Not including Israel, obviously
      ⮞ East Asia – Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, Laos, Cambodia. For India, I’d vet very heavily so that only Anglophones (those Indians who are primarily English speaking, not Hindi/Tamil/Bengali/Marathi/Gujarati….) and those who understand and embrace US laws & culture are allowed in. Not H1B workers whose sole job is co-ordinating offshore and onshore
      ⮞ Latin America – most of it. Maybe make exceptions for countries like Paraguay, Uruguay and in future, maybe Argentina and Bolivia. As countries abandon socialism, give them a second look
      ⮞ Caribbean – countries like Barbados, Belize, Windward Islands, Leeward Islands, Trinidad & Tobago are not Third world. For countries like Guyana, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, do it on a case by case basis
      ⮞ Pacific Islands – they’re not Third World, so should be fine to come

      Also, for First or Second world countries, screen them for whether or not they are Socialists. If they are, just deny them. Those fleeing socialist persecution, allow them

    • I’m sure a lot of Brits would appreciate this, but I’m not sure that it sets a good precedent. When another country starts dinging us for our immigration policy, how then do we tell them to mind their own business? There have been a lot of countries, and the late Pope, who condemned our immigration policy, and a lot of us had the reaction to GFT and not interfering in our business

      Honestly, it’s up to the British government to decide what sort of an immigration policy they should have, and if there is a disconnect b/w them and their subjects, then it’s not our role to try bridging that gap. Same thing for all European countries

        That would be true if we were Norway, Denmark, Mexico, Colombia or dozens of other countries in the world. But we are the USA and that region of the world has had us come in and help sort things out not just after the shit hit the fan but when the shit was all over the place. We have a special relationship with many countries of the world and that special relationship means, we can say what we want, when we want, and how we want, period.

As taught from Islam’s Qur’an, Islam should be banned for its incitement, funding, and promotion of violence, terrorism, hatred, human trafficking, and discrimination against women, children, and Non-Muslims.

    Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day as Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.” See also Qur’an 60:4.

      When I watched in dismay at the law fare thrown at him
      I had an awful feeling of “how will he deal with all of this?”
      And look at it now. . . most of the law fare is in tatters
      on the ground.
      And there stands Trump, with a smile on his face.

      All of these battles, were and are, what he took on when
      he descended the escalator at Trump Tower.
      I had not a clue about what I was actually seeing at the time.
      I thought, after hearing his speech, he was surely political toast.

      I don’t always agree with him but I don’t understand how he
      accomplishes what I do agree with either.

      Now when something comes up I just wait and see and
      remember that we are all called to “Fight, fight, fight!”
      any way we can.

    There *really are* some immigrants who are real refugees and to whom we should grant asylum. But this would take some actual vetting, and weeding out Muslim invaders.
