Trump designates Saudi Arabia a major non-NATO ally

If Saudi Arabia is still the Wahhabi jihadist entity that financed Muslim Brotherhood mosques all over the U.S., then this is an extremely foolish move. Mohammed bin Salman has been moving Saudi Arabia away from Wahhabi exactitude, and the Turks and Qataris have stepped in as the chief financiers of the jihad inside the United States. Still, if MBS moves too far or too quickly away from Islam, he risks being overthrown. It remains to be seen whether Saudi Arabia will prove to be a genuine and reliable ally, or an Islamic entity at its core that will turn against the United States when it considers it necessary to do so. It cannot be both.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that the U.S. will designate Saudi Arabia a major non-NATO ally, unveiling a defense and economic partnership with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during a White House dinner marking 80 years of U.S.–Saudi relations….

“It’s a special privilege to welcome his royal highness to Washington this year, as we mark the 80th anniversary of the first meeting between [a] U.S. President and a Saudi king,” Trump said. “The two became immediate and warm friends … and right now you have the best friend you’ve ever had.”

He added that ever since the U.S. and Saudi Arabia have been “enduring partners,” they were “making that partnership closer and stronger than ever before” Tuesday night.

Trump said the partnership reached a new level after a day of meetings and signings with bin Salman. He praised Saudi Arabia’s modernization, calling it “an economic engine and a modern-day miracle,” and said new agreements in energy, minerals and artificial intelligence were “unprecedented.”

He added that Saudi Arabia had agreed to boost its investment in the U.S. from $600 billion to $1 trillion, a move he said would create American jobs and further strengthen the growing alliance.

“So, that’s why tonight I’m pleased to announce that we’re taking our military cooperation to even greater heights by formally designating Saudi Arabia as a major non-NATO ally, which is something that is very important to them,” Trump said.

He added that both countries had just signed “a historic strategic defense agreement,” calling it proof of “a stronger and more capable alliance” that would serve “the highest interest of peace.”

The announcement followed Trump saying Saudi Arabia would invest $1 trillion in the U.S., doubling an earlier pledge….

I hope Trump knows what he is doing, as an example sucking in SA with military goodies to get SA’s recognition of Israel (and yes, I know full well that even if SA did this that doesn’t equate to truly trusting it since, hey, let’s face it, a hudna is a very Islamic “thing”). But what if Trump doesn’t know what he is doing, a consideration that should still be taken into account?

    I’m not sure where matters lie here. I really don’t. But here’s what I do know: Obama was a snake and Biden was an idiot. As for Bush 43, what a monumental disappointment he proved to be.

      Knows what he’s doing in regard to Saudi Arabia.

      Does not know what he’s doing in regard to Saudi Arabia.

      • Trump believes that everyone is a rational player. He is very transactional. Trump wants money poured into the American economy. He believes that these Arab-Muslim despots want to modernize their countries and have a close relationship with America. He seems to think that they will play nice because he’s nice to them and that they respect him and see him as powerful. Also coincidentally, the Trump Organization is doing lots of business in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Pam Bondi and Kash Patel were lobbyists for Qatar. Trump is dazzled by their gifts and opulence. He eats up the Middle Eastern “my friend” routine.
        This is Trump’s folly. By encouraging these Arab-Muslims to invest so much in America’s economy he is giving them tremendous power over future American policy. If the Saudis and Qataris suddenly pulled their investments out it would damage America’s economy. This gives them a say in our decision making. Also Trump is only going to be in office until January 2029. Whom ever is in the White House may not be as able to deal with these vipers. Because he is so transactional Trump likely thinks that Israel owes him “bigly” . He is going to want to give the Saudis and Qataris something for their cooperation ( in addition to the security alliance). What do you think that they will want?

    • A lot of people think that all religions are the same. They are not. It is like saying that all food is the same. That gasoline and pizza is all the same, so why worry? They see Islam as a Protestant form of Christianity. Trump doesn’t know that Islam lusts for power, and Muslims have no qualms with how they get power. He thinks Islam is like Christianity whose central goal is relationships.

      In other words, Trump sees Islam through the eyes of Charlemagne who did these kinds of deals with the Muslims, but it is better to see Islam as Charles Martel (Charlemagne’s grandfather), who vigorously defended against Islam.

      Charlemagne’s attitude towards Islam led to a 700 year war in the West (Spain), and it contributed to Islam being a threat to Europe until this day.

    Deceitful Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.” See also Qur’an 60:4.

    As taught by Allah, Muslims are supremacist terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and with their LIVES. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 states, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Allah in Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”

    ALLAH’S MUSLIMS are a greater TERROR than diabolical Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”

    Again, Islam is a totalitarian and supremacist system of lies and deceit because Allah, the best deceiver, is the actual source of Muslim deceit. Allah in Qur’an 3:54 says, “And they deceived, and Allah deceived. And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 8:30 says, “…And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 13:42 says, “And indeed, those before them deceived, so to Allah all the deception…”

  5. It’s not really a good idea to designate Saudi Arabia as a “Non_NATO ally . This is because the Islamic kingdom of Saudi Arabia in no friend of any Western nation, Saudi Arabia is best defined as a kingdom of Islamic hate.

    As one Arab scholar who had lived in a Middle Eastern country, for many years revealed “Saudi madrassa notably teaches hatred and condemnation of the West and non-Muslims” and “The Saudi Government also provides free textbooks to Islamic schools throughout the world . many of the Saudi- Issued textbook’s contain wording that encourages hatred and intolerance for non-Muslims.” [1]

    Saudi Arabia in many ways is no better than Iran.

  6. Designating Saudi Arabia as a major non-NATO ally or any type of a genuine ally ally reveals poor judgement

    The reason why this is so is because it should be known and not forgotten that the Islamic kingdom of Saudi Arabia has not and will not spare any of its vast oil wealth as to use its financial resources to fund and promote the advancement of Islam by and through the jihad. By this it means both the stealth jihad and even the subtle support violent jihad.

    As explained, for example in the book HOW ISLAM PLANS TO CHANGE THE WORLD by William Wagner. For on pages 109, 110. The reader is informed that “The Wall Street journal on April 15, 2003 published an article titled ‘In law Seminars, A Saudi Group Spreads Extremism.’ The article began by saying ‘In late February more than 300 young men from across Europe gathered for a weekend seminar on Islamic Law put on by Al-Waqf al-Islamic Foundation.’ The article went on to explain that the most famous graduates from the seminar were half a dozen members of the group of young men from Hamburg, Germany, who plotted the September 11, attacks. The language of the was Dutch, but ‘the message was imported from Saudi Arabia, via Saudi books and lecturers who taught a strict orthodox interpretation of Islam.’ “

    Further on the very same page of 110 the information is given that “TIME MAGAZINE , in an article on Saudi Arabia: Inside the Kingdom,’ stated ‘Apart from channeling money to foundations that have assisted terrorist groups, Saudis have for years supported institutions abroad the propagate Wahhabism.’”

    In addition to all this, in the book of the title of THE HISTORY OF JIHAD FROM MUHAMMAD TO ISIS, by Robert Spencer on pages 333 through 337.Mr Spencer provides valid information of the subject of “The Saudi involvement in September 11.”2001

Those places, “schools,” are called madrasas. In those Islamic mind programming centers young Muslim male are ingrain in the mindset Koranic dogma of the use of violence and killing for the advancement of Islam. As the Koran instructs. As in, for example, in 2:191. 9:5, 123. 47:4. Many of those who of such center are so much damaged that they are literally dangerous to self and others. As seen many times in jihad suicide, homicide bombing/attacks. For the Koran instructs in 9:111. “The believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, they kill and are killed.”

    Furthermore, those mind programming places also ingrain the outlandish absurd Koranic doctrine of a ex-filled paradise with many virgins, houris, in it for the Muslim male who dies fighting for the cause of Islam in the jihad. Such a strange doctrine of a houris filled- place in found in the Koran in 44:54. 55:56. 78:31. Moreover, such Islamic mind programming centers are further explained about by the scholar Don Richardson in his book SECRETS OF THE KORAN which on pages 69,70. Informs the reader that “The world needs to be warned. At least forty million Muslim youth in the Muslim worlds’ religious schools, called madrasa, are avidly memorizing the entire Koran … These schools become breeding grounds for potential terrorists. When male students, isolated from family and friends in madrasa, reach puberty and their hormones are active, there are no girls to date. Instead, Muslim clerics easily shift to focusing the male student’s attention on Koranic verse that promises sex in heaven with dark-eyed houris. Students can only fantasize about martyrdom followed by the sexual release Muhammad promised. This is an unspeakably cruel brainwashing technique, and the Koran is its perfect guidebook.”

    In short, Saudi Arabia is very guilty of promoting Islamic terrorism as Iran

    • The problem is what happens after Trump, i.e. long term. We in the US think in terms of administrations. Islam thinks in terms of birthrates and centuries, boring things like that.

      I’d change the tense to “was”: Saudi Arabia was indeed a rogue actor during the previous king Abdullah. But after he croaked, his brother Salman became the king, but is more of a figurehead, but weighing heavily on one issue – “Palestine”, which is why the US & Saudi Arabia are discussing a Pali state. But MbS has been loosening islamic influence in the country and has been maintaining an iron grip, and has done a few things:
      ⮞ Ended teaching hatred of Jews and Christians in Saudi madrassas, and even teaching other religions
      ⮞ Ended funding dawa and jihad activities worldwide, since his pet project is now Neom, that city at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba
      ⮞ Banned Tabhlighi Jamaat, which is a major dawa group that promotes jihad
      ⮞ Opened up Medina (except Masjid al Haram) to non-muslim visitors

      Given what Saudi Arabia was, that’s a lot of headway. I do think the prince is wrong when he thinks that there will be a carbon-free future: laws of physics and chemistry on this planet don’t suggest that. But he seems to believe it, and is spending money to diversify his country’s economy, so that if and when they run out of oil, they have other things to live on

      I do agree w/ one thing: if the Saudi monarchy ever falls, and a muslim brotherhood allied entity takes over in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia would then become another Qatar, in which case all these moves – making them a non-NATO ally, selling them F-35s could come back to bite us

  10. I like most of what Trump has done while in office. But this one I’m not sure if. So far the muslim/islamic leadership have proved they can’t be trusted to hold up their end of the deal. I guess only history will tell the story.
