Trump: ‘Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria’

This is good to see, especially in light of the fact that unlike so many others, Trump doesn’t hesitate to say that “radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter.” Yes, they’re not radical, they’re mainstream, and “Islamist” is not a concept in Islamic theology, but is a word that was invented in order to distance Islam from the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teaching, but in this statement, Trump is still more honest than most politicians are when dealing with the global jihad. Now: when will he acknowledge and move to stop “radical Islamist” activity inside the United States?

    • Really ? I don’t think so
      If he really cares he should think about paki nukes , iranian nukes are a threat but paki jihadis having nukes is no problem

        Pakistan started developing nuclear weapons in the early seventies, In response to India’s advancing nuclear program. But it wasn’t until 1998 (when Bill Clinton was president) that they detonated their first nuclear bomb. Granted western leaders should have stepped in and prevented this from happening but sadly they didn’t. Trump can’t be blamed for that.
        Fortunately Pakistan has never used nuclear weapons in conflict and hopefully they never will. But it would be absolutely catastrophic if we tried to deal with this situation now, it’s far too late, because now they really are armed to the teeth.

    • I think President Trump knows the threat, and this is just one step of many that needs to be taken to stop Islam’s threat of world wide jihad.

    • They are of course lying. Things have gotten worse now that most Nigerian leaders are Muslim.

  4. A number of people that recognize that there are evil jihad actions taken against Christians and other non-muslim people consider these people to be radical muslims, radical islamists. These people like to see the majority of muslims as peaceful people. This results from a lack of knowledge about the teachings of Islam as based on the Koran and the Hadiths. The truth of the matter is that these Muslims who commit terrible jihad acts and terrorist acts are actually the devout followers of the teachings of Islam. The peaceful Muslims are people who call themselves Muslims but are not following the clear jihad teachings of Islam.

    • Peaceful Muslims + Violent Muslims = True Muslims per Allah. Allah affirms Non-Muslims as enemies of Allah. Allah in Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels[Non-Muslims] were your clear enemies.” Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”

      I really appreciate your use of the word “devout”.

      “Radical” Muslim = Devout Muslim. A Muslim that does what their “holy books” say to do.

      “Moderate” Muslim = A Muslim who doesn’t do all that their “holy books” say to do.
      Just lets/supports the devout Muslims taking those actions.

  5. I still remember when in high school about Biafra. I didn’t then understand about its breakaway from Nigeria but I think I do now.

    I’ve learned a lot about Islam since my high school days. Yes I have.

      One reason I never understood Biafra was John Ono Lennon returning his MBE award over Britain’s position on the Biafra war:
      ⮞ What was Britain’s position on the Biafra war? Did it support the united Nigeria or Biafra?
      ⮞ What was Lennon’s position on that war? Did he support either side?

      In those days, I used to think that countries should be united, and in general, opposed secessionist movements everywhere, be it Kashmir, PLO, IRA, MILF (at that time, it was Moro National Liberation Front, not Moro Islamic Liberation Front) in Philippines, the Basques in Spain, and therefore, presumably, Biafra. I had no idea that it was a jihad against South-East Nigeria

      • Not sure about Lennon but very few nations supported Biafra, Israel being one of them I believe, and the UK was not one of them. Guess Lennon got something correct for a change.

    The “news” reports that yes indeed there is something going on in nigeria, with boko haram and such killing folks but most of the victims are muslims. (ratio wise)
    So here we go, the attacks and attrocities against christians begetted by muslims is being transformed into a muslim on muslim issue.

  13. To be honest , politics is an opportunistic business , there are many religions in nigeria so why only christianism is a big deal , neither it’s an American religion nor I think trump wants to hurt his muslim jihadi friends in qatar, , pakistan

    • Nigeria’s religious demographics are characterized by a diverse mix of beliefs:

      Islam: Approximately 45.5% to 53.5% of the population identifies as Muslim, predominantly in the northern regions.

      Christianity: About 45.9% to 54.2% of Nigerians are Christians, mainly concentrated in the southern regions.

      Traditional beliefs: These account for about 1% to 7% of the population, with practitioners found throughout the country.

      By all means, lets allow the muslims to wipe out the Christians and then they can go on and make short work in the wiping out the other 1 to 7 percent.

    • Nigeria is about 46% Christian and over 50% Muslim. There is a genocide against Christians by Muslims there, with Jihad terror groups like Boko Haram. You may not consider this horror a big deal, but about 60,000 Christians have been murdered in Nigeria in the past decade.

      Some of us consider this a bad thing–and not just because the victims are mostly Christian. Jihadists slaughter unbelievers all over the world–it is just that in Nigeria these are mostly Christians and some animists.

    • I will take a wild guess by saying that the other 1 to 7 percent are not living in the muslim dominated northern regions. Not unless they are hiding in a cave somewhere.

      • The problem is the muslims in the northern region put on masks and swoop down in to the southern region and murder Christians. Then they withdraw to the northern region, take of their masks and blend in with the northern region villagers. They dont wear masks because of covid they wear masks so they cannot be identified and they can do the same thing again and again.

      • They are using villagers as cover for their murderous activities. But the villagers know exactly who they are. So to take them out you have to kill many so-called innocent civilians in the process. It is a dastardly way of operating and it works very well.

        • Yep, that would be the obvious but somewhat unfortunate solution. Unfortunately, right now, we have to consider the visceral outrage among all the wrong headed virtue signaling left in America. We have to disregard the lefts lamentations and do what is right and just no matter what.

    • Yes they do Patrick. This is the first US President that has acknowledged that muslims are murdering Christians in Africa. Muslims have murdered many more Christians than they have Jews and that is because there are way more Christians in Africa than there are Jews. It is a first step but at least it is a first step.

  18. Trump putting the Crusades back together again…eh? I don’t think he gets the fact that Islam is a radical ideology that has been at War with all other religions for 1400 years. Impossible to separate the “good” non-radical Muslims from the radical Muslims…or should I say, “Islamists?” But at least Mark Levin brings on Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, the lone heretical reformer, who does a snow job of what he thinks Islam is supposed to be (regardless of what the Quranic manifesto dictates and history of Jihadi militancy). Don’t you know Islam is just another freedom-loving, American-assimilating, peaceful religion that those darn, newly minted radical Islamists have perverted. So it’s impossible to deal with the global threat of Islam and its goal (same as Commie goal) of dissolution of Judeo-Christian Western Civilization or this pending installation of a Commie Muslim mayor in NYC. Hasn’t NYC suffered enough under Democrat Communism that they have to add the insult of a Muslim Mayor 25 years after 9/11?

  19. What’s happening in Africa is hideous. I’m glad to see Trump acknowledging
    the Christian slaughter by Islam. By all means threaten economic repercussions
    on the government for not taking enough action. Do anything you can to
    get their government to do what IT SHOULD BE DOING.
    Shine a spotlight on ISLAM conquering Nigeria. Show the slaughter to college student.
    Do whatever you can in terms of support but DO NOT tell Americans that THEY are going
    to foot the bill, supply weapons and pay for bombgings to defeat Islam.
    And definitely NO TROOPSl.

    Remember Iraq and Afghanistan? If any African country can’t hold Islam back ON THEIR OWN
    after U S pressure is applied, then it’s a waste of U S treasure to do anything more than
    pressure. It would just mean giving weapons and supplies to Islam, like the U S
    did in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    I don’t like this being the case but I don’t get to invent reality.

    In the meantime can we talk about keeping this nasty, vicious, form of GOVERNMENT
    called Islam out of the United States. The Islam that is so suspect that the FBI can’t
    even coordinate with the local “moderate” Mulsim elected officials to prevent a terror attack
    ON THEIR OWN CITY.

    Before you take futile efforts to save Africans from each other could you please
    SAVE AMERICANS FROM ANY MORE ISLAMIC INCURSIONS.
    BAN THE GOVERNMENT OF ISLAM FROM THE U.S.
