Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa met with Trump in the White House and walked away with a big bag of goodies, despite not having given any solid indication that he really is no longer a barbaric jihadist on the same level as the deceased Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, with whom he briefly joined, but double crossed. Now al-Sharaa is emboldened after disgracing the White House with his presence, and is now speaking on behalf of Trump. He’s saying that Trump “backs his demand for Israel to withdraw from Syria.” Israel cannot afford to do that.
A key component of what this taqiyya jihadist insists upon is that Israel is not under threat with him leading Syria. “Sharaa says Trump backs demand for Israel to withdraw forces from Syrian territory,” by Lazar Berman, Times of Israel, November 12, 2025:
Syria’s leader Ahmed al-Sharaa said Monday that US President Donald Trump supports his insistence on a complete Israeli withdrawal from Syrian territory as a condition for a comprehensive security deal between the long-warring neighboring countries.
Speaking to The Washington Post after becoming the first Syrian leader to meet a US president in Washington, Sharaa said Trump would “push as quickly as possible in order to reach a solution for this.”
Israeli troops took up several positions in southwestern Syria following the fall of the Bashar Assad regime last year, in what Jerusalem has said is a temporary security measure.
While Washington is keen to eventually normalize ties between Israel and Syria, the latter is aiming first at a security deal, with the condition that Israeli troops withdraw from its territory.
Sharaa said that during his Monday meeting with the US president, “we found that Mr. Trump supports our perspective as well, and he will push as quickly as possible in order to reach a solution for this.”
“Israel has always claimed that it has concerns about Syria because it is afraid of the threats that the Iranian militias and Hezbollah represent,” Shara [sic] said, referring to the Lebanese terror group. “We are the ones who expelled those forces out of Syria.”…
Nothing could be further from the truth than the claims that Israel is not under threat from al-Sharaa. Of course he will expel Iran’s militias and Hizballah out of Syria, if he finds that they are in his way of achieving dominance. It has nothing to do with keeping Israel safe or allying with Israel. Al-Sharaa is a jihadist warlord, ready to kill infidels and Muslims who do not accept his hegemony, all in his quest for full regional dominance. Lest we forget, he betrayed al-Baghdadi and turned on the Islamic State in order to gain power, pledged continued allegiance to al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, and then continued the battle for preeminence against jihadist groups in Syria. After al-Sharaa’s al-Qaeda “formally disassociated itself from ISIS” in June 2014, ISIS stormed Mosul in July, and al-Baghdadi subsequently announced the restoration of the Islamic caliphate under his own leadership. This didn’t stop Al-Sharaa (aka Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani). In January 2017, his Jabhat al-Nusra (JN) adopted the formal new name Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) “as a vehicle to advance its position in the Syrian insurgency and further its own goals as [al-Qaeda’s] affiliate in Syria.”
Al-Sharaa is now using America to aid him in attaining his goal of supreme dominance in the region. He is also getting help from his greatest backer, Turkey. He saw how Trump signed an executive order, declaring America’s commitment to protect Qatar after an Israeli strike targeting Hamas leaders in Doha, so now al-Sharaa is hoping Trump will protect him and pressure Israel to get out of Syria.
Netanyahu cannot allow al-Sharaa — a jihadist kingpin who is using Trump — to dictate to him what to do as the leader of a sovereign nation that jihadist thugs surround and threaten on a daily basis.

If it’s the latter, the US already recognized that annexation in 2019. For Damascus, that’s lost forever

He once said, “I think islam hates us,” then on another occasion he made reference to Pope Francis by saying something like, “if the Pope only knew what muslims had in store for him.” Then there was the snake poem that he would often recite, and don’t forget the proposed ban on muslims entering the country. Also in 2017 there was that meeting in Saudi Arabia where he addressed delegates from across the muslim world. On this occasion he made the most compelling, powerful speech that he has ever made. This is just a small part of that speech, “every time a terrorist murders an innocent person, and falsely invokes the name of God, it should be an insult to every person of faith. Terrorists do not worship God, they worship death.” He was really telling them what he thought of their religion, which in itself took some courage. So why has he changed, hopefully he hasn’t and he’s just changed his tactics. The worst possible scenario could be the attempted assassination on him. That could have frightened him so much that the old Trump may never return, I hope that’s not the case, because he is someone that really does know what islam is all about.

I also am wondering what our congress and president is up to. it does not sound good to me. I watched Secrets of our Shadow Government on television a couple nights ago and it sounds like our future is bleak. They have become very greedy for every penny they have from tax payers and want it all.
