MAIDUGURI, Nigeria, Nov 21 (Reuters) – Gunmen in Nigeria kidnapped at least 227 students and teachers at a Catholic school in the northwest on Friday, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) said, the latest in a spate of school attacks this week that has forced the government to shut 47 colleges.
Friday’s incident in Niger state was the largest mass kidnapping of school children since the March 2024 abduction of more than 200 students in northern Kaduna state.
Reverend Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, the CAN chairman in Niger said he had travelled to the school. He said some students managed to escape, but gave no details.
“From our record, 215 pupils and students including 12 teachers were abducted by the terrorists,” Yohanna said in a statement.
Earlier, police and local government officials in Niger state confirmed the kidnapping from St. Mary’s School, but they did not say how many….

Now there have been Congressional hearings about Nigeria, following President Trump’s Truth post about this some weeks ago, as well as plans about what the Pentagon could do. I’m not sure that there is any support for any action beyond some bombing raids on Boko Haram. Let’s see what happens

What has the leader of the Catholic Church have to say about this, The POPE wants countries to open their borders to these muslim migrants, while he sits in his secure Vatican. Let’s face it no one is going to come and help these Christians in Nigeria. They will either convert to Islam or be killed or become slaves to islamic men.

Muslims have been kidnapping non-Muslims – and then either killing, or selling (for exorbitant ransoms) or raping/ force-converting/ enslaving the kidnapped – for 1400 years.
This kidnapping of people in Nigeria is really NO DIFFERENT from the kidnapping of Jews on 7th October 2023. And it’s of a piece with the ceaseless raiding of the Mediterranean littoral .. and further afield, all the way to the coasts of Cornwall, Iceland, Ireland… by Mohammedan jihad raiders. The aim is to wear down, terrorise and weaken the societies thus assaulted.. Sometimes the kidnapped (as in the case of the kidnapped Israelis) are used as bargaining chips.. and with a psychological warfare aspect as well.
