Fresh from his triumph in the Oval Office, New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani is feeling pretty good about himself. He got Donald Trump to praise him, again and again, for all the good things he, Mamdani, is going to do for the city of New York. Trump wishes him well. Trump did not respond to, and apparently did not mind, Mamdani’s description of Israel’s “genocide,” or his further charge that the United States has been “funding that genocide.”
Zvika Klein thinks that, at a minimum, Mamdani needs to stop defending the phrase “globalize the intifada” and pretending that it does not constitute a call to kill Jews worldwide. Jews, after all, beg to differ: they know what it means, and they suspect that Zohran Mamdani does, too. He doesn’t mind the sentiment, but just to protect himself, continues to insist it doesn’t mean what those pesky thin-skinned Jews insist it means. More on the taqiyya-master and incoming mayor of New York City can be found here: “Zohran Mamdani called for an ‘intifada,’ why should Jews believe he’ll protect them? – comment,” by Zvika Klein, Jerusalem Post, November 22, 2025:
It was a perfect moment for TV. Next to the flags and the fireplace in the Oval Office, New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani was asked about a protest outside a Manhattan synagogue where people yelled “globalize the intifada” and other nice things.
Mamdani looked straight into the cameras and said he “care[s] very deeply about Jewish safety” and that he “look[s] forward to rooting out antisemitism across the five boroughs and protecting Jewish New Yorkers and every New Yorker who calls the city home.”
You might be confused about what all the fuss is about if you only saw that clip. A Muslim mayor who is also progressive talks about protecting Jews from antisemitism while standing in the Oval Office. What could be more comforting?
Everything that came before it.
The gap between what he says and what Jews hear is huge. Mamdani didn’t just show up in Washington with no ideas about Israel or Jews. He spent two years building a brand on the kind of language that makes Jewish parents in Brooklyn and Queens lose sleep at night.
Mamdani has been toiling in the anti-Israel vineyards ever since he was an undergraduate at Bowdoin, where he founded a chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, and he’s been agitating against the Jewish state ever since, beginning with his support for BDS to undermine Israel’s economy, and his marching with others while chanting “from the river to the sea/Palestine will be free,” which is a call for the disappearance of Israel, and its replacement by a 23rd Arab state.
People in New York City did not hear a poetry reading when they heard “globalize the intifada” outside of that synagogue. They heard about the Second Intifada, bombings on buses, and massacres in cafés. They heard, “Make that happen everywhere.” That is not a mental illness; it is a memory. Mamdani’s answer did not clearly say that the phrase is wrong.
Instead, he tried to make it a vocabulary class. He defended the slogan in interviews and podcasts in June, arguing that “intifada” is “a word that means struggle” and saying that what he hears in it is “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.”…
Yes, the word “intifada” deprived of context, in a dictionary definition, means “struggle.” Just like “kampf” in Mein Kampf, Hitler’s “My Struggle.” But it has acquired a new meaning, one that derives from its use in the First and Second Intifadas, which were campaigns of terrorist murders of Israelis by Palestinians, in schools, on buses, at pizza parlors and Passover dinners. All Israelis, and all Palestinians, know what the word “Intifada” means. Zohran Mamdani wants us to believe it means “struggle,” and not mass murder. And that is why he won’t denounce the phrase. It means, he intimates, “globalize the struggle against the colonial-setter apartheid genocidal state of Israel.” Only the wicked would be against that.
Mamdani should finally say that he has been thinking more about what the word “Intifada” means for Jews, so many of whom have urged him to denounce the phrase “globalize the intifada,” and he wants to tell them that he now realizes why those words unsettle and even frighten them so much, and deserve to be denounced. Yes, he “should” do that. But he won’t.

On the very specific matter of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine I wish to make a statement here at JW, to wit, traditionally this has been a great institution of higher learning and has had a very distinguished alumni, including the hero on the second day at the battle of Gettysburg on Little Round Top, one Joshua Chamberlain, who was thereafter four-time Governor of Maine. Chamberlain and the 20th Maine’s defense of Little Round Top saved the day for the Union Army on the second day (Gettysburg was a three-day battle, July 1, 2, and 3 of 1863) in this single most momentous of Civil War battles (of which there were over 10,000 if one counts both minor and major battles into the mix, so utterly complex is the military history of the American Civil War).
Another distinguished alumnus of Bowdoin was O. O. Howard, after whom the single most prestigious black university is named, Howard University (unfortunately I must “report” here that Kamal Harris graduated from said university but I digress). General Howard was leader of one of the 7 corps of the Union Army on those momentous days in early 1863.
Bowdoin alumni have quite an impressive track record, including the two graduates I already mentioned and who helped save the greatest nation on Earth. I have been to that battlefield over twenty times and Chamberlain and Howard still resonate with what they did in that single greatest and bloodiest battle of the American Civil War (there were as many casualties for Americans in the the three days of Gettysburg as in the entire nine years of the Vietnam War).
I mention all this because the fact that a Marxist and a Muslim, who will be the next mayor of NYC, is a graduate of Bowdoin serves in microcosm just how much things have changed—for the worse. No, worse than worse—for the worst.
I am so sickened by what has happened to my country and to the West at large, due to three negatives—Islam, Leftism and massive willful ignorance. How can I not be?

So am I.
If one is not sickened, they are part of the problem.

A psychopath will stand in front of you and look you square in the eyes and lie, lie and lie over and again.
If the psychopath is speaking (lying) about something serious, he’ll wrinkle his brow and keep his lips straight.
If the psychopath is saying things to reassure or to profess his love and affection, he will smile with his lips, but his eyes will show his true feelings….hard and dark….and full of lies.
If he is denying some words or actions, he will show his anger as he lies in denial and accusing his enemies.
The muzzie who has been chosen. to rule over the New Yorkers…as the bramble bush chosen to rule over the trees…speaks, he speaks the lies which reside in his ugly and hate-filled heart.
He will do what he has been taught by his parents and the muzzie clerics….everything will be for the spread of islime and the works of the devil.
James Lincoln says
To your point, Mamdani would fit the definition of a psychopath.
A jihadi – as you well know – does not necessarily have to be a “kinetic” jihadi.
Mamdani – an islamic slimeball snake in a suit.

Thank you, James.
I had a professor who was an FBI special agent who was also a psychologist. As you know, they don’t make a dx without seeing the person, but I learned from him and the *lessons* to spot them from my non-medical knowledge.
I have looked into the eyes, and heard the voice of a psychopath.
Just seeing the muzzie on the news, and hearing him….I know what dx I’d give him.,
I’m glad to see you agree….from your medical knowledge.
Def a “snake in a suit.” Like Dr. Hare’s book describes.

He is a Moslem Brotherhood guy. He is a card carrying member of a terrorist organization no matter where he was “educated” many members of the Nazi party went to very highly rated schools in Germany growing up and going to school with Germany Jews it didnot make them less anti-Sematic. This man should not be allowed to take the oath of office even if he won the election because he is a proud member of an anti-American terror group found in 1925 whose mission statement is to overthrow the legal government of the United States.
James Lincoln says
WPM,
Guaranteed that Mamdani will take his oath of office with his hand on a koran.

I know but the obvious is beyond the MSM simping for this jihadist. It was like the first 3 years of Bidens term he was razor sharp ,but aFTER ONE DEBATE drop like an ugly girl taken to the prom the morning after. War, murder ,calling for killing of Jews is not violence it is only” symbolic language ” of oppressed brown people of the made up country of Palestine .
࿗Infidel࿘ says
“Intifada” means uprising, not “struggle”. “Jihad” means “struggle”. The term “intifada” took on a very specific meaning since the 2 intifadas in Israel. It simply means “kill Jews wherever you find them”
He won’t condemn this stuff, not unless and until there is a public outcry that deafens his fellow travellers in the DSA and the “Free Palestine” mobs. That too, one that is heard not on the ballot box but right there in the streets

We know by his speeches and who he supports how he considers Jews and Israel. He is no different from the attitudes of the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, Hamas and Hezbollah. If he could extinguish the nation of Israel, he would do it.

I for one believe thats true, he would given the opportunity destroy Israel and kill the jewish population.

His hatred is not even limited to just Jews & Israel

Mamdani doesn’t want to publicly condemn or prosecute
the perpetrators of antisemitic crimes.
No, he wants to “root out the cause of antisemitism”.
His solution is to get rid of all the selfish, bloodsucking capitalist Jews.
No Jews – no antisemitism, root cause solved!
