The National Rally Party (Rassemblement National) that Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella lead has put forward as its most important domestic policy goal putting a halt to Muslim migration and to deport Muslims convicted of crimes. The party is now the most popular party in France, with nearly 40% support. Meanwhile, no candidate from Macron’s party has registered more than 8% support. There are still 18 months to go before the next French presidential election, set to mark the end of the Macron era. Although the candidates are not yet known at this stage, there is a clear trend in favour of the Rassemblement National (RN), which is pulling ahead of its opponents, whoever they may be….
Bardella will be the next RN presidential candidate, since Marine Le Pen was convicted on trumped-up charges of embezzlement — she used funds meant to pay EU delegates to instead pay her party officials — that have led to her being banned for five years for running for office. She is now appealing that part of her sentence, claiming — correctly — that it is a plot of her political enemies to stop her from running for the French presidency, that she would now be likely to win.
But the RN’s seemingly unassailable dominance is paralysing many, who are unable to envisage a strategic alliance that could lead to victory. The rivalries that had culminated in 2022 during the previous election have not been overcome, far from it. Alongside the RN, polemicist Éric Zemmour, who had launched his own movement, Reconquête, garnering success with the media but not at the polls, is preparing to run again. In an interview with BFM TV on November 2nd, he suggested that his partner and campaign manager, Sarah Knafo, could run in his place, given the strong support she currently enjoys among part of the right-wing electorate. “It’s quite extraordinary to see this woman, who was unknown to the public 18 months ago, now credited with 6 or 6.5% in the presidential polls,” he explained, not without bias. Sarah Knafo is actually polling better than Zemmour himself.
The essayist also said he was open to the idea of organising an expanded primary within the French right wing in an attempt to reach a consensus on a single candidate. The idea resurfaces with every election and has so far failed every time.
Zemmour is right to push for a primary that will allow the various strands of the French right to vote for a single candidate who will then run in the general election. But so far, nothing has happened. The rivalries within the right remain. But the presidential election is not until 2027.
On the Left, at least in rhetoric, the reflexes of unity are much stronger. The figures announced for the RN trigger alarmist rhetoric among activists who are replaying the well-known tune—going on for 90 years—of the need for an “anti-fascist coalition.” Worryingly, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, president of the far-left party La France Insoumise, who had suffered in the polls due to the outrageous and antisemitic remarks made by his party, seems to be holding his own, fuelling his ambitions to once again appear as the leading candidate of the Left.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon is a communist, an antisemite, and an opponent of any limits placed on Muslim immigration, since he knows Muslims will vote for him. He and La France Insoumise, the party he leads, are a menace to the Republic. The right, which means the Rassemblement National of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, the Reconquête Party of Eric Zemmour and Sarah Knafo, the center-right Republicans (Les Républicains), and other smaller right-wing groups that include Identité-Libertés (IDL), founded by Marion Maréchal, the niece of Marine Le Pen, has a good chance to win the 2027 election if the various right-wing and center-right parties can before then agree on a single candidate to represent the right, and to offer voters a comprehensive plan to end the Muslim immigration that is the chief source of domestic discontent in France.

I wonder if National Rally could win an election and then pardon her? The other thing is that she is not the only person who used funds in this way – just the only one prosecuted for it. So perhaps her supporters should try to get those others who have offended prosecuted as well, especially if they represent Leftist parties.

I have given up on France. Every election, she inches closer to being elected, but ultimately, the entire Center and Left pull together to deny her party the government. Not enough French people are intelligent enough to see the islamic threat even though it dominates there life to such a magnitude that pet piglets are now a thing. As a result, I just yawn whenever I read any article about her party: wake me up the day they come to power
PVV in Netherlands held out some more hope, so still watching to see what they do. AfD in Germany now dominates the former East Germany, but still have to make inroads into West German cities, as well as Berlin

It is very difficult to come as a non Muslim to France and go thru the process, this has been true since the 90s and maybe even before, but I know since the 90s.
Europe is the same. I don’t know what the reason is though that Muslims are heavily preferred as the immigrants being permitted in to offset the falling birth rates.
My daughter in law was not accepted to any western European country, I believe it has to do with preference for religion, as these spots are stolen by invading illegal pests, or reserved for Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Algeria , Somalia, Iraq etc etc.

I am sorry to say this but this is an article that gives hope on false premises.
It does not matter what the polls, or any other such thing show.
They will NOT BE ALLOWED TO WIN.
Simple as that.
Also with how the French elections are it does not really matter. Even if someone from them would take the presidency (which is highly unlikely), they would not be able to form a government.
As they could not gain the Senate/Parliament majority in order to form a working and effective government, it would just lead to something similar that we see now.
As in unable to form a working government, so any kind of legislative reforms would not go through.
Such articles just provide false hope to people:(

Netherlands is in worse situation than France.
Smaller country. 6% practices of the population (with election rights) islam.
In the younger generation the muslim ratio is growing every year.
A ton of undocumented migrants also in the country. The ports and port towns are held by islamic gangs are controlled by them.
What we saw with PVV in the past years is the best you can hope for the National Rally to achieve. It is the same for AFD.
Even if they would by some miracle and a lot of miscalculation and misaction(by their opponents) achieve a governing position, they would have absolutely no legislative power to get rid of the migrants that are in the country or to slow down the immigration to the point where they would have a chance.
Why? Because of the EU. Even if they would close down the borders, they could not stop any immigrant that was able to gain a protected or other status in another country.
As lately some folks start to articulate the oppinion a civil war is coming, or is very likely.
It is a truth that most do not want to face or accept, and the ruling powers do not want to even hear.
But it is the said truth.
With no legislative power to remove muslim immigrants, no power to integrate them into society, there is no peaceful solution to keep Europe european.
So either a civil war will happen, one that nobody has seen before
or most of europe submits and slowly disintegrates and becomes one of the newest aquisition of islamic dominance.
It is why i find it hillarious that the European Union is arming itself against russian prepping for 2030. By 2030 there will be countries which have 15-20% or even more muslims. Or in worst case scenario they can actually take over any time 2-4-6 countries, as there are 40 million muslims in Europe today. At the least. That is more than the combined population of Belgium, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark.
Currently as it seems without a bloodbath anything west of the Danube will be lost.(And some parts east of it.)
Also the US is now facing its own crisis as well. With New York becoming the new Jihad Capitol of the world.
