Feds Don’t Move Against CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood, So Texas’ Abbott Does It Himself

At last, someone has done what has needed to be done for a very long time: Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has designated the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) “foreign terrorist organizations.”

Abbott’s proclamation regarding these designations pulls no punches. The governor identifies the Muslim Brotherhood as a “transnational Islamist organization,” and notes that its founder, Hassan al-Banna, stated that “Jihad is an obligation from Allah on every Muslim and cannot be ignored nor evaded.” Just so we’re clear that we’re not talking about an interior struggle, the proclamation also points out that al-Banna defined jihad as “the fighting of the unbelievers, and involves all possible efforts that are necessary to dismantle the power of the enemies of Islam including beating them, plundering their wealth, destroying their places of worship and smashing their idols.”

After years of lies, half-truths, and distortions, this is extraordinarily refreshing. Back in 2011, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who later claimed that Hunter Biden’s notorious laptop was Russian disinformation, said just as fancifully: “The term ‘Muslim Brotherhood’… is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam.”

That was several years after it came to light that the Brotherhood was dedicated in its own words, according to a captured internal document, to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within, and sabotaging its miserable house, so that it falls, and Allah’s religion reigns supreme over other religions.”

Nevertheless, the Obama administration continued to back the Brotherhood as a “moderate” alternative to open jihad groups. Abbott, in contrast, points out that the State Department has already labeled several Brotherhood branches as “Specifically Designated Global Terrorist Entities,” and that “activities of Muslim Brotherhood branches have similarly been limited or prohibited by the governments of Austria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates in light of the Muslim Brotherhood engaging in terrorism or attempting to destabilize those countries.”

The situation is similar with CAIR. The organization’s ties to Hamas have been a matter of public record for years; nevertheless, its operatives have done a skillful job of mainstreaming it as a genuine defender of civil rights. In a story on Abbott’s proclamation, the far-left Guardian states petulantly, and misleadingly, that “a Washington-based Muslim civil rights organization that has operated chapters across the United States for decades and provides legal services to Muslim Americans facing discrimination. Cair has consistently rejected accusations of terrorist ties.”

    What is more, ilhan elmi, alias omar, and ratshida tlaib have had meetings with awad and they both know who he is.
    And tlaib has rioted with those proclaiming demands for ‘palestine’….which is really hamas.

    Gov Abbott is standing apart from those who lie about islime so that its evil progress can continue. Will other governors join him? It takes moral courage to tell the Truth and to work against the advancement of evil.

  3. One’s head spins reading about all these designations. Keep it simple and just label the entirety of Islam as a foreign terrorist entity, to include those Moslems unfortunately living here in the U.S.

    First, this courage must over come bribes in the form of money (legal to their campaigns, funding universities, investments; and illegal hidden monetary benefits; eg – the Bidens). Further, loss of muslim votes must be faced. Also, all manner of accusations of racism, anti-Americanism, Nazism, blah, blah, blah, will arise against them. And finally the possibility of harm, even death, for them and their loved ones.

    “Moral courage” indeed to overcome this evil infestation!

    I hope this courage catches on to our legislators at the federal and state level; to our President; and even to the local level (ex: school boards, city councils facing muslim exceptionalism for their noisy call to prayer, halal food, separate prayer areas, blocking streets to bow down and pray, and on ad on …)

    • Thank you, Keys. In all those areas, people need to stand up to what is being done to them, their families, their future.
      Perhaps Gov DeSantis will join Abbott. He has shown courage before….recently making comments about the muzzie in NYC and what it means for that city.
      Moral courage to face down the bullying mob and the insults from that group.
      Be like Christ….not afraid to tell the Truth…nmw.

  5. This should have been done when CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorist funding case. HLF was based in Richardson, Texas.

    Now Abbot, with the help of ICE, needs to investigate the Muslim communities in Dallas and Houston for illegal aliens and immigration fraud. It has been hypothesized that 40% of the Somalis in Minnesota got here based on immigration fraud and I believe that the ones in Texas are just as corrupt. They are building a large Shi’a mosque in Houston and that along with the Muslim community in Plano would be good places to start investigating.

    • A report this week said that the government is denaturalizing those who came here under false pretenses, fraud, lied, etc. Like ilhan elmi, alias omar. The report said 25 million are set to have their *naturalized* citizenship taken and they will be deported.

  8. Several countries have already banned the muslim brotherhood branding them a terrorist organisation, including some islamic countries. Yet they are still allowed to flourish here in the UK and the US.
    This decision by Greg Abbot is a positive step in the right direction.

  10. The courts are gonna be busy as the muslims try to use the American Constitution to their advantage. Unfortunately for the muslims, their interpretation of the constitutional wordings is incorrectly interpreted buy them as it is seen viewed through a foreign cultural lands as well as various modern interpretations foreign interpretations of Anglo words. That Sayed said they have and upper hand because many of our judges also have no idea of proper interpretation and meanings. These types of judges and lawyers who have been trained In the far left foreign style of anti-American schooling or a real danger two hour wait traditional way of life
