“UN peacekeeping mission condemns rebel attacks that killed 90 civilians in a week in eastern DR Congo,” by James Tasamba, Anadolu Agency, November 22, 2025:
The UN peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Friday strongly condemned the recent deadly rebel attacks in eastern North Kivu province, which killed at least 89 people.
The UN Organization Stabilization Mission (MONUSCO) said in a statement that available information indicates that the attacks in the Bapere and Baswagha chiefdoms resulted in the killing of 89 civilians, including at least 20 women and an undetermined number of children.
The attacks in several Lubero Territory localities from November 13 to 19 were blamed on members of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) armed group.
According to a MONUSCO statement, at least 17 civilians, including women receiving care in the maternity ward, were killed inside a Catholic Church-run health center in Byambwe.
The rebels also set fire to four wards housing patients and committed serious violations such as abductions, looting of medical supplies, home burnings, and property destruction in communities already facing severe humanitarian vulnerability, it said….
The ADF group, which has been active in eastern Congo for several years, pledged allegiance in 2019 to ISIS (Daesh)….

Dear Mr. Robert Spencer:
I purchased your guide “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam” more than a decade ago. I found it very informative. I also liked how you addressed the abuse of women and the disregard of the physical sciences. These two chapters were important since Muslim apologists like to argue that Muhammad supported women’s rights and that the Quran is full of scientific discoveries that couldn’t be proven during ancient times. However, your otherwise excellent book had one important omission.
You mentioned nothing about slavery and racism in Dār al-Islām. A lot of Black Americans, the descendants of slaves bought here during the colonial and antebellum periods, are converting to Islam. Carl Ellis estimates the number of Black Muslims to be 2.5 million. You see celebrities such as Mike Tyson, Kareem Abu Jamar, and Muhammad Ali following the lead established by Malcolm X and Elijah Muhammad. They really believe that Christianity is an Abrahamic religion that has been corrupted by white Europeans to oppress Africans and other peoples of color.
I don’t know if you can read every comment on your website but if you do read this, I urge this of you: If you ever publish a second edition of “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam”, please mention Islam’s role in the enslavement of Africans. Srdja Trikovic discusses this at length in his book “Sword of the Prophet”. With the atrocities in Sudan and Nigeria, America’s black communities should be informed as to the racism that Muhammad had towards black people, calling them “zanj” and “raisin heads”.

Do more research on slavery, The Irish were the first “slaves” brought to America during the famine in Ireland. They were indentured servants to the people who paid their way to America.
How long were they kept to work off that passage?
Second, African tribes sold many other Africans into slavery why don’t you start there and research what tribes gathered other Africans and sold them instead putting America to blame.
Lastly, Islam has always had slaves even in the 21st century, it is nothing new as conquest means to enslave and or kill those that will not submit as Islam’s name goes hand in hand with that thought process.

Who said anything about blaming America? You obviously know the real history of slavery and so do I but most blacks don’t. A few years ago, I overheard two blacks arguing loudly about religion on a bus ride home from work. A heavyset man was trying to get a woman to convert to Islam, telling her how much good it has done for the black community. I didn’t have the courage to tell him that Muslims have taken far more African slaves than white Christians. There hasn’t been enough outreach to blacks on this issue.
And if your demeanor is going to be that rude, you are part of the reason why people see the far-right as boorish.
