The latest episode in the ongoing ridiculous charade of denial and willful ignorance.

The New York Post says below that he was “hauled away nearly naked.” Did police take off his clothes, perhaps to make sure he didn’t have a bomb? Or had he stripped himself naked in anticipation of getting killed and enjoying the virgins of paradise?

The crazed gunman who shot two National Guard troops in a possible terror attack near the White House Wednesday has been identified as a 29-year-old Afghan national who came to the US during the chaotic 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal was allegedly lying in wait before he rounded the corner near the Farragut West Metro Station in Northwest DC around 2:15 p.m., then opened fire, striking a female guard in the chest before shooting her in the head, according to law enforcement sources.

Lakanwal, who entered the country under Operation Allies Welcome and resettled in Bellingham, Washington, then allegedly fired at and struck the second guard — until a third guard stationed nearby rushed to the area and took him down, the sources said.

The two armed soldiers, who were patrolling the streets when the suspect launched his rampage, were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, authorities said.

The suspect, who was reportedly shot four times, was hauled away nearly naked in an ambulance and acted alone.

Police have not revealed a motive for the attack.

Law enforcement sources said the FBI is initially treating the shooting as a potential act of terrorism….

    • The last I heard, the devout Muslim who murdered the people at King Soopers was declared fit for trial which usually means the insanity plea didn’t work. Colorado has a high bar on insanity pleas.

  7. I blame the politicians in Washington for this just like the politicians in Europe and England for all the immigrants there. The politicians think the American people should take care of the world. A politician just said the U.S. cannot afford to give the American people the $2000.00 rebate that President Trump wants to give us. I actually agree with him because we give money to every country in the world and cannot take care of the American citizens. How much money has the federal, state, and local governments spent on illegal aliens? I know a lot of people will disagree with me for this but, I quite voting. I refuse to send these fools to Washington to screw over me any more. If he was yelling “Allahu Akbar” my guess as to his motive is that he came to regret working with the U.S. against his own people and decided to atone for his sins by attacking some U.S. soldiers and be a martyr. It would earn him immediate entry into Jannah and then he could also intercede for 70 of his relatives who would be able to join him there when they die. Most people in the U.S. have no idea how many walking time bombs and what evil they have welcomed to live among them.
