The article below points out the deception of Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority in stating that Abbas and the PA’s “pledges to Trump and the UN are exposed as lies, when compared with the internal PA discourse.”
Major General Jibril Rajoub is Secretary General of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah. This high-ranking politician is a right hand man to Abbas. Less than two weeks ago, his words embracing Hamas as “our brothers” reflect the Palestinian Authority’s and Abbas’ position, despite what they tell the world.
Although the Palestinian Authority competes with Hamas and there has been a longstanding strain in relations between the two, both terrorist organizations are unified as “brothers” in the cause of the “resistance” (from the River to the Sea). They’ve always been.

The PA/Fatah/PLO have never been even close to ostracizing Hamas or other terrorist factions. On the contrary:
From the beginning of Hamas’ war on Israel, Abbas wanted partnership with Hamas under the PLO
The PLO set “no conditions” for Hamas and other factions to reunite within the PLO
Abbas’ message to Hamas: We’re “ready to protect Hamas” if they join the PLO
Abbas’ advisor: We want Hamas to join the PLO with their weapons
Abbas’ advisor: “We insist on Hamas remaining and all the Palestinian factions remaining” under the PLO

The central component of Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan is that “Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza.” This echoes and is partially based on PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ pledge last week to the UN:

Palestinians like all Arabs have put their faith in Allah and have lost every war to Israel. Even when Israel was at its weakest, it stopped the Muslim effort to “throw Jews into the Sea”. Now, Israel is the unrivaled strongest nation in the Middle East. Allah claims to be “Allah is the best of deceivers. (Qur’an 3:54)” and that’s true. They have deceived Arabs to follow him down the path to defeat for 77 years…so far. And the future looks just as dismal for them.

I am very concerned about the “Peace Plan” BB and DJT presented this past week. Especially the 17th line item proposal.It seems to me that if Hamass does not except the plan and return the hostages than at some point the 17th line item proposal will take effect. Forcing Israel to evacuate from Gaza in stages. While outside forces that will train the Gaza Police Force will be taking control of the evacuated areas. Those forces are to come from Egypt and Jordan. I don’t Egypt or Jordan. What is preventing them from joining forces with Hamass and the Palestinian Authority to attack the IDF while they are in exfiltrate mode.

If Fatah wants this unity, why don’t they take the initiative and merge into Hamas? What makes them think they are equals, after Hamas started and fought alone a war in which they got totally massacred?
