UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the Metropolitan Police Chief Sir Mark Rowley, and other officials called on pro-Hamas protesters to respect the anguish, still fresh, among British Jews following the murders of two Jews during a terror attack by one Jihad al-Shami on a synagogue in Manchester, and to postpone their protest. This call for decency was summarily rejected. The anti-Israel protest, fueled by antisemitic hate, would go on as planned. Nearly 500 pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested in support of Palestine Action, which has been proscribed by the UK as a terror organization, the Metropolitan Police announced on Saturday.
London police arrested six people who displayed support for a banned pro-Palestinian group on Saturday and carried away protesters who gathered for a demonstration, despite requests to call it off after a deadly attack at a synagogue in Manchester.
Two people were killed in the attack in the northwestern city on Thursday, and police shot dead the assailant, a British man of Syrian descent who counterterrorism police said may have been inspired by extremist Islamist ideology.
Organizers refused requests by the police and government to call off the demonstration, which had been announced before the attack, to protest against the banning of the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action under anti-terrorism laws.
The protest came after UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer wrote in the Jewish Chronicle, calling for sensitivity on the part of pro-Palestinian protesters, acknowledging that some attending the weekly protests had been stoking hate.
Only now does Keir Starmer, who has been Prime Minister since July 5, 2024, allow himself to acknowledge what he should have been proclaiming from the rooftops all along, and not just after more than a year as prime minister. Every single one of these anti-Israel protests has been “stoking hate” against not just Israel, but against Jews everywhere. These protesters are “globalizing the intifada.”
“I know that planned protests over the weekend, just a few days before the anniversary of the October 7 attacks, as well as in the shadow of the Manchester attack, will cause distress,” Starmer wrote. “Peaceful protest is a cornerstone of our democracy – and there is justified concern about the suffering in Gaza – but a minority have used these protests as a pretext for stoking antisemitic tropes. I urge anyone thinking about protesting this weekend to recognise and respect the grief of British Jews this week. This is a moment of mourning. It is not a time to stoke tension and cause further pain….
Of course, the pro-Palestinians simply laughed at Starmer’s appeal to decency, and their protest went ahead as planned. Those arrested had unfurled a banner on Westminster Bridge outside Parliament in support of Palestine Action, which was proscribed in July after members broke into an airbase and damaged military planes.
The group Palestine Action was banned by the British government, not for exercising its right of free speech, but for invading an RAF base at Brize Norton, and causing seven million pounds of damage to two planes. Such vandalism cannot be justified as the exercise of free speech rights.
The police also asked the protesters to postpone their march. The Met Police were already thinly stretched, because all of a sudden, just after the Manchester synagogue attack, they had to provide extra security to synagogues, Jewish schools, and Jewish communal institutions, and it would be difficult to also supply the more than 1,500 police who would be needed to provide security at the planned protest in central London. This appeal, too, was turned down by the pro-Hamas group. No doubt they resent the police providing extra security for synagogues and Jewish schools.
Jewish and Muslim communities in Britain have expressed fears for their safety….
Why should the “Muslim community” express “fears for their safety”? There haven’t been any mass protests inveighing against Muslims, or, indeed, any protests at all against Muslims; there have been no attacks on mosques or on individual Muslims in the UK. In fact, they are pretending that they, too, are just as threatened as Jews, and deserve our sympathy. But it isn’t true.
Hours after Thursday’s attack, pro-Palestinian protesters clashed with police at a demonstration outside Starmer’s office, drawing sharp condemnation from interior minister Shabana Mahmood, who called their action dishonorable and un-British.
Just think. On the same day of the attack on the synagogue in Manchester, pro-Hamas Israel-haters were already out in force in central London, spewing their antisemitic venom right outside 10 Downing Street, where the prime minister lives.
No decent interval there. But what can one expect of the terminally indecent, as these people — who calumniate Israel for its nonexistent “genocide,” excuse Hamas’ atrocities as noble “resistance,” defend the outlawed Palestine Action, and scream their demand that Israel must disappear, to be replaced by a twenty-third Arab state — surely are?

Apparently he has now visited the scene of the Manchester atrack. The police kept everyone away – as wherever Starmer goes he is heckled and booed by people.

Met police are declaring their inability to disuade the proscribed “Palestine Action group” from appearing on the streets, despite hundreds of pseudo arrests – which do not seem to result in any legal action.
Watch this space to see the Muslims pressure to get this proscription lifted.
And Home Secreatary Shabana Mahmood has announced new measures to clamp down on protests but speculation is that this will only be effected on ‘right wing’ protesters and will be used to curtail the embarrassing protests outside migrant hotels.
If those can be stopped Shabana knows she is on to a winner.
That, coupled with Isamophobia laws will stop all opposition to Islamic take over in the UK.
So while our sympathy is very much with British Jews at the moment, the rest of us are living under increasingly draconian laws.
And we have already lost dozens of our kinfolk over the years to Jihad.
There is no reason to suppose that will stop.
The only difference will be that we will be prevented from telling the world about it.
May be we will have to form an underground “British Resistance ” movement like the French and Dutch did under Nazi rule?

At least in WW11 the Nazis where not invited into Brittan to live in 5 star hotels at the taxpayers expense by the government . Starmer and company seem to hate the average native British taxpayer and refuse to protect them or respect their wishes to live safely and peacefully in their communities .Remember if you complain in England about jihad ,rape ,or other violent activity that Islam promotes on line you could be arrested by a swat team in the pre-dawn hours ,dox ,fined , jailed and face further threats from local Moslems who have free reign like the Droogs in Clockwork Orange to beat ,rob rape ,and murder you.

Someone needed to explain that to the Sky News reporter at the scene in Manchester: Whether through brain-washing and basic stupidity, she repeatedly claimed that it was a “mosque” that had been attacked – rather than a synagogue…
Presumably in a similar spirit of obfuscation – the BBC’s man on the spot made haste to spread the blame around, in a “Search me, Guv’nor – coulda been anyone!” kind of way – improbably claiming that Jews in Manchester felt threatened from various directions, including “neo-Nazis and the…” – (wait for it…wait for it…) – “…the “FAAAR Right!”

First off everyone should know by now, there is no respect for others under Islam. Secondly Islam always celebrates and cheers for the death of Jews and non-muslim people. There was no way in hell muslim/islamic followers were going to cancel their victory parade of murder.
