Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

The Pakistani politician and Islamic scholar Maulana Maududi wrote in his commentary on Qur’an 9:29: “The purpose for which Muslims are required to fight is not, as one might think, to compel the unbelievers into embracing Islam. Rather, its purpose is to put an end to the suzerainty of the unbelievers so that the latter are unable to rule over people. The authority to rule should only be vested in those who follow the True Faith; unbelievers who do not follow this True Faith should live in a state of subordination. Anybody who becomes convinced of the Truth of Islam may accept the faith of his/her own volition. The unbelievers are required to pay jizyah (poll tax) in return for the security provided to them as the dhimmis (“Protected People”) of an Islamic state. Jizyah symbolizes the submission of the unbelievers to the suzerainty of Islam.”

Majid Khadduri was an Iraqi scholar of Islamic law of international renown. In his book War and Peace in the Law of Islam, which was published in 1955 and remains one of the most lucid and illuminating works on the subject, Khadduri says this about jihad:

The state which is regarded as the instrument for universalizing a certain religion must perforce be an ever expanding state. The Islamic state, whose principal function was to put God’s law into practice, sought to establish Islam as the dominant reigning ideology over the entire world….The jihad was therefore employed as an instrument for both the universalization of religion and the establishment of an imperial world state. (P. 51)

Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee, Assistant Professor on the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law of the International Islamic University in Islamabad. In his 1994 book The Methodology of Ijtihad, he quotes the twelfth century Maliki jurist Ibn Rushd: “Muslim jurists agreed that the purpose of fighting with the People of the Book…is one of two things: it is either their conversion to Islam or the payment of jizyah.” Nyazee concludes: “This leaves no doubt that the primary goal of the Muslim community, in the eyes of its jurists, is to spread the word of Allah through jihad, and the option of poll-tax [jizya] is to be exercised only after subjugation” of non-Muslims.

A Shafi’i manual of Islamic law endorsed by the most prestigious institution in Sunni Islam, Al-Azhar University in Cairo? It says that the leader of the Muslims “makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians…until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax,” and cites Koran 9:29 in support of this idea: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o9.8)

Iran’s former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said, “Have no doubt… Allah willing, Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountain tops of the world.”

Omar Ahmad, the cofounder and longtime Board chairman of the influential Hamas-linked Muslim Brotherhood front group known as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), has said that “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”

“Jihad, holy fighting in Allah’s course, with full force of numbers and weaponry, is given the utmost importance in Islam….By jihad, Islam is established….By abandoning jihad, may Allah protect us from that, Islam is destroyed, and Muslims go into inferior position, their honor is lost, their lands are stolen, their rule and authority vanish. Jihad is an obligation and duty in Islam on every Muslim.” — Times Square car bomb terrorist Faisal Shahzad

  2. With all the evil and wickedness in Islam, it is so obvious that Islam is not the religion of truth. Also these Muslims that believe that Islam will rule the entire world are totally out of touch reality and are very arrogant. They cannot see that Islam has been trying to conquer the world for about 1400 years and has failed. Islam will never conquer and rule the entire world.

    • That is a more optomistic view than i have. They already have 56+ countries and they are well.on the way to conquering the west. I wish i could understand your perspective better. Look what’s happening here in Europe, look at Minneapolis, Texas, Dearborn. Sadly, they are winning and the majority of the west is assisting. The peace deal, just signed, is a farce. Look at the faces of the men behind Trump. They know their struggle (jihad) will continue. Personally, I don’t see a good ending to this story, accept for the coming of the Messiah, which i am not holding my breath for in my lifetime.

Unfortunately, President Trump and our Western Leaders fail to understand the actual threat, Islam and its Muslims, because our Leaders neglect to ban Islam, its Schools, its Mosques, etc. despite Islam’s teaching and incitement of Muslim discrimination, segregation, violence, and terrorism against Non-Muslims(Quran 9:5, 29, 111; 98:6-7, etc.).

    Allah’s Islam, a CRIMINAL-TERRORIST-GANG ENTERPRISE and a MURDEROUS-DEMONIC CULT OF BELIEVERS, Terrorist Muslim Soldiers for Allah, continually fund, promote, and practice ideological subversion, propaganda, bigotry, discrimination, deceit, industrial-scale slavery, human trafficking, intimidation, supremacy, segregation, hatred, incitement to violence, criminality, genocide, victimhood, censorship, and terrorism as taught in Islamic Law, Sharia, and in Islam’s Quran(Quran 5:14,35; 8:60; 9:41, 88, etc.).

    As taught by Allah, Muslims are supremacist terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and their LIVES. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 states, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Allah in Quran 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”

    MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”

  12. I think Trump forced the peace agreement prior to Israel wiping out Hamas, he didn’t give Israel enough time, while media, universities were all clambering for an end to the war in GAZA. Trump knows absolutely nothing about Islam, its power, money, and organization. The massive number standing behind Muhammad and Allah, clambering for world control, an end of the Jewish race, killing off all Christians, killing all non-Muslim, to obtain a totalitarian world.

    Get rid of Hamas, get rid of all potential terrorist Arab Muslims, take total control of West Bank and GAZA. Take total control of Israel!!!

  14. People who become “scholars” of a fantasy generally lose sight of reality and make absurd claims, thinly disguised to make themselves an authority, worthy of praise and financial support, among the fantasy’s adherents.

    What nation has been taken over by Islam in the past 100 years? Iran? Already Muslim, just a reversion of government. Pakistan? Carved out of India by the West for Indian Muslims to bring peace to India – not a conquest, and it failed by allowing any Muslims to remain in India. Losses? End of the Ottoman Empire.

    Islam is checkmated and its only remaining opportunity to rule in the West is by immigration and reproduction. There isn’t a Muslim group of many times the population of Israel which could defeat it, and the entire OIC could be wiped out by either the US, Russia, or China.

    Raving “educated” Muslim scholars are living in a past that will never be again. You may be ,”The men of Islam”, yet you will never rule the world – smart, level-headed Muslims realize it and are leaving for, literally, “Greener Pastures”.

    Creating enclaves in the EU is a fatal mistake for any Muslim groups intending conquests for government control.

  16. I have family who died in Auschwitz, Jesuits, a grandfather killed because he refused to join the nazi’s. Where is Hitler’s conquests now? I am not a Hitler fan, but only saying Islam has more control than nazi creeps ever did. Islam is far wealthier, more influence, (just a tiny example: texas a&m takes billions from qatar and tries to hide it!) Islam has more land and more weapons, more nukes, more people, a more violent, death cult mindset.

  17. Well, isn’t he just the perfect poster child for the “genocide” and “starvation” of Gazans. But that aside, right up until the eleventh hour I really hoped Trump wasn’t as willfully ignorant and stupid as he appeared, in concocting this “peace plan,” regarding the malicious, satanic, lying Hamas, but that he saw this as the only way for Israel ever to move forward, i.e., finally closing the door on their primary avowed aim of the war, to bring all the hostages home. In other words, I hoped Trump was playing out his best ever “art of the deal” and that, once the hostages were safely in the arms of their beloved, he would back Israel with his inauguration promise of “all hell to pay” in a final massive assault on Gaza. Alas, it seems he actually believes his own rhetoric and has sold his soul (and Israel’s, and, by proxy, America’s) to the Devil. We should tremble for Trump, with his almost messianic declaration of “peace everlasting.” God gave him a great opportunity—along with great responsibility—when he was saved from assassination. And in the immortal words of Chuck Yeager, he’s “screwed the pooch.”

    Most appalling of all is the “churches” worldwide that have been cheering this evil “peace deal” as though it’s something remotely good. It shows the bankruptcy of uninformed social “Christianity” which tragically pervades so-called Christendom. Seemingly Trump wasn’t playing his best game to out-deceive the deceivers; he really believes what he’s been saying, and has invited more darkness to cover the world. I believe God’s promise that there is a day coming when “They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Isaiah 11:9)”—but it does seem a lot more remote now than it did a week ago.

  18. Would not dismiss the threats but would prepare for an attack at anytime anywhere, Muslims are not just mouthing off, they are warning people of their intent. Since Oct.2023 Islam has become embolden in their attacks on nations from within the nation they now reside.

  19. There is some truth to his statement if we the western countries don’t stop the islamic migration invasion of our countries. They know they can not beat us militarily but they can out breed us and migrate into our countries because we wrongfully think they will integrate and become a part of our society. You don’t have to look far to see their plan in action in our education system, political candidates, media and the changing of our communities in which they congregate. Israel is just at the tip of islam’s sword, they want to bury that sword to the hilt in the rest of the world.
