Vatican Library Now Has Islamic Prayer Carpet

The Vatican has now given Muslims a prayer carpet, and a dedicated prayer room, at the Vatican Library. Muslims visiting the library can now more comfortably curse the Christians and Jews, as they recite the Fatiha (Sura 1) of the Quran, seventeen times a day. Welcome, Muslims, curse away, and add to the thickness of your pious zebibah right inside the welcoming Vatican. Muslims have been given a carpet for praying at the Vatican Apostolic Library, its vice prefect said Wednesday.

“Of course, some Muslim scholars have asked us for a room with a carpet for praying and we have given it to them,” Giacomo Cardinali, vice prefect of the Vatican Apostolic Library, told La Repubblica.

“Incredibly old Korans” can be found in the Vatican library, Cardinali added. “We are a universal library, there are Arabic, Jewish, Ethiopian collections and unique Chinese items.”

The awe-inspiring collection includes around almost two million printed books along with 80,000 manuscripts, 50,000 archive items, 100,000 engravings and prints and 100,000 coins and medals, Cardinali said….

Those “incredibly old Korans” Giacomo Cardinali is so proud of are full of hatred for non-Muslims, describing them as “the most vile of created beings” and instructing Muslims that “when you meet the unbelievers, strike at their necks.”

It’s not just, or even mainly, what the Qur’an, so implacably hostile, says about Christian doctrines, including the Trinity, the Incarnation, and the Crucifixion of Christ. It is also what those Muslims will be praying for on their newly installed prayer carpet, in the room now especially set aside for Muslim prayers. For they will be reciting the first sura of the Qur’an, the Fatiha. Clearly these Vatican officials accommodating them have no idea what that sura contains.

No one in the Vatican appears to have any idea that those 17 canonical repetitions of the Fatiha that Muslims must say during their five prayers every day include cursing non-Muslims. That cursing is in the Fatiha, the first sura in the Qur’an. Here is what it says in its last two verses (I’m quoting here from Robert Spencer’s The Critical Qur’an):

The final two verses of the Fatiha ask Allah:

“Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.”

“The traditional Islamic understanding of this is that the “straight path” is Islam — cf. Islamic apologist John Esposito’s book Islam: The Straight Path — while the path “of those who have evoked Allah’s anger” are the Jews, and those who have gone “astray” are the Christians.

In other words, both Christians and Jews are accursed, and those on the “straight path” of Islam should have nothing to do with them. Later in the Qur’an, Muslims are instructed that all non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings.”

By providing a Muslim prayer carpet in the Vatican Apostolic Library, the officials in charge have made it easier for visiting Muslims to curse the Christians and Jews seventeen times a day right inside the Vatican. Is this something the Vatican should be making possible? On what theory? Or is it that the Vatican officials do not know the contents of the sura “Fatiha”? I think they haven’t the slightest idea of what those Muslims are praying, and would certainly be shocked to find out that they are cursing Christians and Jews 17 times a day. But is there no one in the Vatican who knows what is in the Qur’an and hadith, has taken the time to study the matter, and can instruct the other Vatican officials who are so woefully ignorant? At least, can’t they be told what Muslims include in the prayer that they must say 17 times a day? And then, once the Vatican officials have been informed, they should, literally and figuratively, pull the rug out from under those now-unwelcome guests.

Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence.

    Muslims are to be terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and their LIVES. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 teaches, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Again, Islam is a FACTITIOUS IDEOLOGY and CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION despicably fabricated over time into the 21sth century, and there is NO PEACE only genocidal obliteration with Islam and its deceitful Muslims(Quran 7:18; 8:39: 9:5, 29, 111; 11:119; 32:13, etc.).

    MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”

    Islam, its Mosques, its Schools, its Organizations, etc. are Terrorist-Criminal Enterprises with hatred and enmity against all Non-Muslims as totalitarian Islam islamizes the society with impunity(Quran 5:14; 9:5, 29, 111, etc.).     Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day when Quran 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.”

    • Thank you for adding more details. I was shocked when I read this. I never thought the Vatican would stoop that low. I have been trying to figure out what is becoming of this world. I read Donald Trump loves rich Muslims and they are paying him a lot of money and guess what we have Epic City in a red state, Texas, so he longer can be trusted.He gets paid over there in Muslim country and the American tax payers pay for everything they want in America.I believe he is for the bit coins and it is a bad idea so I hope we can put a stop to that.

    In my opinion….which matters to me, and perhaps only….Christians shouldn’t have the book of demon filth, much less many copies of it. It’s from satan the devil, meant to lead God’s people astray from the Faith.
    It’s akin to watching child porn or reading books and magazines dedicated to pornography. Those people who do, are often found guilty of rape.

Maybe this installment an Islamic prayer carpet in the Vatican library is an indication the Pope XIV isn’t really any better than Pope Francis who had “caved in” to the pressures of powers of Islam. For Pope Francis was very wrong and in terrible error when he said that the Qur ‘an , and the Bible are the same.

    For example, the Quran in 112 teaches “He is God alone: God is the eternal begetteth not…” Likewise, this religious book which is the entire foundation of and for Islam further teaches in 19:35. “It is not befitting to God that He should beget a son.”

    In great contrast, the Bible teaches in John 1:14. “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Likewise, John 3:16 teaches “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son… Then just a little further in verse 18 it is written about Jesus Who is “the only begotten Son of God. “ Other places in the Bible further teach that Jesus is the Son of God as in Matthew 16:15:16. Luke 1:35. John 3:36. First John 4:14. 15. 5:14,15.

    Moreover, to be even more clear the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God, Who is God the Father. As found in Matthew 3:16,17. First John 2:22,23. 4:14,15. Of course, it ,very much, needs to made even more specific. The Bible teaches that Jesus is also God the Son. As seen in Hebrew 1:8 and First John 5:20.

    The imams and mullahs as well as the other apologists for Islam will try to “explain” this all away. As in they will try brush off all those Bible verse off by making the claim that the Bible had been corrupted, through time, by Christians and that’s why the Bible reads as it does. That claim they make actually underestimate the Power of God to protect and keep His Word safe and intact, through time, and away from the corruption of men.

    In conclusion, with the above instruction of the way to find doctrinal truth in Isaiah 8:20 and in the light of the Bible verse provided it may be clearly seen, by all those who are willing to see, that Islam is in terrible doctrinal error and it is therefore ,Islam a false religion, Proverbs 14:12. John 14:6.

  8. Surah 1:16 – 17 seems to have the same attitude as the following Pharisee:

    The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican(Taxman).

    I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

    And the publican(Taxman), standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

    I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. – Luke 18: 11-14

    Surah 1 is the first Muslim superiority clause in the Quran, exalting Muslims above all the rest of humanity. The Vatican should know better than to bring Islamic prayer into the Vatican. The Vatican even has old variant Qurans for study.

      Some translations say “morals” instead of habits.

  11. At first many people had been naively hopeful that with Pope Leo XIV becoming the new head leader of the Roman Catholic Church , he would be an improvement over Pope Francis who kept on praising Islam because of his ,obvious , policy of appeasement towards the Muslim clerics.

    Now with this Islamic prayer carpet , very recent , installed in the Vatican library , the people who had hoped that Pope Leo XIV a would better,than Francis , by not favoring Islam so much might feel disappointment .

    In contrast for a person who knows the history of the papacy with its long list of popes, that would no ,at all be surprised ,let alone be disappointed because he or she would know that in times past many popes at first appeared to be very good men, later after they entered the papal office they turned out to be not such good men after all.

Or Wicca pray room in a small broom closet near the library why give Moslems assistance in putting a pray room to what Catholics consider a fake or false religion to be practice inside of the Vatican grounds? If the need to pray out loud for the killing or enslaving ,of Catholic ,Jews ,and others is so strong that they must do it at the library maybe they should not visit. I pray quietly to myself for peace many times a day in the supermarket ,waiting in lines at cashiers ,in doctors waiting rooms , in airports, waiting for trains in quiet moments to home. Why do I expect everyone to give me a room and take my shoes off, butt pointed skyward put on a show and disturb everyone’s peace and quiet by caterwauling war cry prays?

    Well—a little behind schedule but they’re there now. Perhaps it’s the Lord’s way of dealing with the Roman “church” that has spread so much oppression, evil and poverty wherever it has gone in the world. Just sad to think it’s only a matter of time before Michelangelo’s glorious Sistine Chapel ceiling is shot up and destroyed by the Muslim Jihadi filth.

  20. A prayer rug in the Vatican makes no sense. Christians supporting the migration of Islam makes no sense. What does make sense is staying as far away from Islam as possible not opening the door to their radical and violent behavior.
