UK Police Warn Brits Against Raising Flags

Not Hamas or Al Qaeda flags. Obviously. The bad kind of flags. The flags of England.

After a rash of incidents of the flags of England being flown in public and police officers being caught on video seizing them or otherwise removing those flying them, the Sussex police have a statement.

“In less fractious times, seeing your flag normally instils feelings of belonging and pride,” Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Katy Bourne said. “It is clear, however, that in some places, the appearance of flags is making some communities feel deliberately targeted and intimidated. That may or may not be the intention of those putting the flags up but it is clearly creating anxiety and potential flashpoints.”

“Local authorities have reported that their staff and contractors have been abused and threatened when removing flags from council property – mainly for safety reasons and to prevent potential breaches of the peace.”

We are aware of the recent increase in the displaying of flags across Sussex and the impact it is having on our communities.

Recognising there are varied motivations for people’s decision to display flags, we cannot ignore that their presence is creating different feelings amongst the public.

We know from our ongoing community engagement, some people feel intimidated and targeted – not by the flag itself, but by the perceived motivation for its display. For these reasons, we would like to provide clarity on the police response so the public understand our position.

Then they go on to explain how they’ll crack down on flags. (Not Islamic flags obviously. Perish the thought.)

Police said people feel “intimidated and targeted” as St George’s flags continue to appear across the county.

Over the last few months, St George’s flags have appeared across the country as part of a national movement called “Operation Raise the Colours.”

James MacCleary, MP for Lewes, reported last week that some of his constituents felt “intimidated walking to the shops or taking their kids to school”, which he said was “appalling.”

“It is time for these flags to come down,” he added.

And the flags of Pakistan to fly instead.

But while the police will scurry off to stop flags from being flown, they’ll do nothing about Muslim sex grooming gangs and Hamas rallies.

    • This kind of proves that the Migration Invasion of Islam is working. Political Islam is taking hold across the west because our greedy and weak leaders are allowing to let it happen.

      This migration invasion can be reversed if we act quickly to shut our borders to muslim migration and deport muslims/islamic followers who are here illegally or overstayed their visa.

  4. It looks like the long slow process of the United Kingdom being conquered by Muslims is going along very well. Now the British people cannot show patriotism for their country. It sure looks like the leadership of the United Kingdom has caved in to the demands of the Muslims. The United Kingdom should instead be deporting these Muslims who want to take over their country.

    • Deport the traitor politicians to Pakistan too, see how they like what England will be like in 100 years now.

  5. It’s difficult not to conclude that the British police are, speaking in the aggregate, traitors to their nation. At the very least they are cowards.

  6. I guess the government of the UK will make a blank white flag the “official” flag representing the protection they give native British from imported Jihadist. If the Union Jack or the Saint George Cross is too offensive to the Islamist maybe they should go to a country that does not identify as British for the last 1000 years or so. These cowardly officials have abandon even the trapping of caring or having pride in their country ,they would have folded in the late 1930s early 1940s when the Nazis attacked with the bombings day and night. Trump was right when he questions the PM about the current policial climate in England in 2025 where the local population is told to shut up and take it because Moslems must be appeased . There is no first amendment in England ,if you cannot even fly your countries flag in peace ,where grooming gangs put young girls into white slavery ,where the streets are unsafe because young Moslem men are following grade school children around to possible expose themselves to or sexual harress .Where women of any age group cannot go out at night for fear of these son’s of Allah predators .Where churches and monuments that stood for centuries are vandalized by these savages Allah’s imported army that entered the country without a shot to swat in government paid housing and suck as much money from living on the dole like the leaches they are.

    Not that all flags are “good” or “evil,” but the idea that someone can’t display a flag because muzzies recognize the flag as support for what was…before they invaded…. and not what is….them taking more and more control.

    muzzies can shout and chant their intent to murder others. No stopping them, no arrests.
    Infidels can say, “I don’t like islime,” and the handcuffs come out, the infidel is hauled away to prison for years, and perhaps killed by muzzies in prison.

    Justice has left the land.

    • True the elected officials have abandon their own people ,the inter circle of hell is reserved for people of this caliber in my humble opinion. Traitors ,cowards and turn coats never do well in history books or in the afterlife.

    • @somehistory: regrettably, it’s ever so slightly more subtle than what you say. The Saint George flag is the flag of the crusades: a white background with a red cross. The cross is the sign of Jesus’ divinity. The mohamedans are antitrinitarians. They don’t believe in the divinity of Jesus. But, hey, that’s their problem, I’d say. Not ours, and let’s face it, the only language the mohamedans speak is that of violence. So, do they feel intimidated? I don’t believe that at all. They are projecting their agression by pretending to be intimidated, and the UK authorities believe them and help them by removing the crosses they hate so much from view. Two tier Keir is scandalous.

      The same holds for the Cross of Saint Andrew and the cross of Saint Patrick, by the way.

  8. There should be no bloody foreign ” communities in Britain anyway.
    If they are offended then get the message and f**k off back to the place you and your tribe came from.
    No one asked you to come here in the first place.

    I fly the Union flag and that of St George at my house on alternate days.
    I will not stop doing so.

    Very soon it will be Rembrance Sunday and the King, Prime Minister and Archbishop of Canterbury wlll pretend to venerate the same flag our fathers fought for .
    Hypocrits and traitors.
    Lesser sons of greater sires.

  10. If Muslims or any other people don’t like the flag of the country they are in then they should piss off out of that country. Muslims have murdered english people in terrorist attacks in Manchester and London in the usual Muslim way, carried out all those Muslim gang rapes in their usual way and yet the authorities protect the scum from being offended. It is sickening.

    My mother and aunt joined the British army as young women during WWII, and they told me about the sea of Union Jacks and St. George crosses in London on VE day.

As a born and bred American, I enjoy the possession of many firearms, hunting and target, rifles and pistols and am licensed to carry a concealed handgun in about 35 of our 50 states, This would be a greatly limited privilege in UK or EU or much of the world, but it is a RIGHT here, by virtue of the Second Amendment to our Constitution which comprises our God-given Bill of Rights.. Not a day passes that I do not reflect on the sagacity of those “Dead old White guys” (as they sarcastically are called by the Left) that wrote our sacred founding documents.

    Japanese Admiral Yamamoto,Isoruku, prior to the 1941 sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, is quoted widely as having said, “Japan must never attack America. There is a rifle behind every blade of grass”.

    Invaders from Islam had best become familiar with the Admiral’s warning. You are not wanted here and through the persistent warnings of Jihad Watch we are prepared to repel you. And we will.

  17. This exposes what a terrible short fuse some of those Muslims are who now living in the United Kingdom . That a “potential breaches of the peace.” might occure because some Muslims might happen they see a flag they don’t like.

    If those muslims have a violent “temper tantrum ” because of that they shoild be arrested breaching the peace.
