A Muslim man in the UK shared a video on social media where he said he felt bad for fellow Muslim employees in supermarkets. He explained it was hard to see Muslims having to handle pork and alcohol, which are forbidden in Islam.“Really hard seeing brothers and sisters at the checkout at the supermarket like I am now and you see brothers and sisters with their hijab and brothers with their beards and the name tag with their name on it and they’re having to handle alcohol and it hurts,” said the man.

While noting the crisis in the UK job market, he said he hoped Muslims would find roles that do not require handling items that go against their faith.“It’s not easy finding a job in the UK, especially in this situation right now and sometimes these are jobs that are available. And may Allah make it easier for them to find something better.”
“Sometimes in some of these places you are able to ask to be on the vegetable counter or do some job in the company which doesn’t involve you handling alcohol or something else which is haram,” the man continued, with ‘haram’ meaning ‘forbidden.’ “These are the challenges living in the west.”…

There are other jobs that do not involve in handling food or alcohol. There are places to live in the middle east where pork or alcohol are not keep on shelves in stores you could move there .I would not work in a pornographic book store ,would I demand that the store remove the books I do not want to handle or view so I could work there?

The Islamic horror about pork is only an indication of a fanatic yet closed off religion that hasn’t had an update in 1400 years. It was stolen right out of the Torah to make the new upstart appear as a successor to Judaism and Christianity.
No reason was given in the Torah for why pork should be avoided. Maybe diety thought humans would observe the sickness of Trichinosis and understand the danger posed to physical health. Diety would also know humans would learn how to eliminate the parasite in pigs, ending the threat.

Even if you don’t consume pork or alcoholic beverages, maybe buy small amounts of those things if there are moslems working in your local stores, so that the moslems have to see and handle these products. You don’t have to use the products yourself, if you don’t want to.
