Trump’s Guarantee of Security for Qatar

Qatar is the world’s largest supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, a sinister group determined to spread Islam across the globe, where, according to a famous hadith, it should “dominate and not be dominated.” It is the main financier, too, of Hamas, which owes its arsenal of weapons to Qatar. Hamas’ leaders have been given luxurious refuge in Qatar, where they continue to live even now. Qatar spends billions of dollars on American campuses and America’s political class, spreading its anti-Israel venom and buying influence.

Now President Trump has said that the security of Qatar will from now on be guaranteed by the United States, for he wrongly sees Qatar as a friend of America. It would be truer to say that Qatar is a friend of Donald Trump and his family, for Qatar in April approved Trump’s plan to build and operate an 18-hole luxury golf resort, the Trump International Golf Course and villas, in the Emirate, which is now under development. And let’s not forget the Qatari ruler’s gift to Trump of a $400 million Boeing 747, which Trump intends to sell and use the proceeds to go toward the building of his presidential library.

President Donald Trump’s September 29, 2025, executive order granting Qatar a NATO-style security guarantee is a strategic blunder built on a foundation of fantasy. The order cites the need to protect Qatar from “continuing threats … posed by foreign aggression.” The question is, what threats? What foreign aggression? The State of Qatar is not a victim in the Middle East; it is a source of the instability that plagues the region. The only “foreign aggression” it should fear is the consequence of its own policies.

For decades, the Qatari regime has perfected a cynical and dangerous double game. It hosts the Al Udeid Air Base, giving it the veneer of being a Western ally while it serves as the world’s most significant financier of the Muslim Brotherhood and its terrorist offshoots. The leaders of Hamas, the perpetrators of the October 7, 2023, massacre, do not hide in caves; they hold press conferences from the lobbies of luxurious Doha hotels, their lifestyles and operations underwritten by the same monarchy the United States now swears to protect. This security pact creates the possibility that an Israeli operation to eliminate a Hamas leader in Doha could be officially regarded as “a threat to the peace and security of the United States.” It is a strategic absurdity of the highest order.

Qatar’s aggression is not limited to terror financing. It has waged a patient, multibillion-dollar war of ideas against the West, using its state-funded narrative machine Al Jazeera to spread antisemitic and anti-American propaganda. It has poured billions of dollars into universities in a campaign of ideological subversion, poisoning the well of our public discourse and creating the campus environment where genocidal chants now become “social justice.”

This executive order cannot stand. The path to its revocation requires a new, coordinated campaign, a coalition of the aggrieved led by the victims of Qatari statecraft. This fight must be waged not with arms, but with the potent, democratic weapons of truth, law, and political pressure….

Trump’s announcement of his executive order providing an American guarantee of Qatar’s security is disastrous. Trump is clearly taken with the Emir of Qatar — he’s thinking of that golf course he’s building in Doha, and the $400-million plane gifted to him, and waiting for him on the tarmac to dispose of. Perhaps Trump, mercurial and erratic, will himself withdraw the security guarantee, especially if there is congressional pressure to do so. Qatar’s malignant support continues for both Hamas, a US-government designated terror group, and for the Muslim Brotherhood, which may become a designated terror group if the bill proposed by Senator Cruz in the Senate and a similar bill proposed by Congressmen Diaz-Balart and Moskowitz in the House are acted on.

Qatar is not our ally. Qatar is not our friend. Qatar is the friend, ally, and supporter, of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Having first removed the dottle, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

  1. Someone needs to sit Trump down and teach him a lesson about Islam! The sooner the better! Now,I doubt there will be an invitation so how about someone taking the initiative and requesting a visit with the President and teach him what he needs to know?

  2. Glenn Beck can speak personally with the president….he has done so before. He needs to do so again and soon. (yes, **soon**)

    This is, in reality, a trade-off: the security of a terror state in exchange for the security of the U.S. citizens.
    Making the terror state secure, while Americans will be at an even greater risk from mb operatives.

    Trump said he wants ilhan elmi, alias omar, gone, but then he does just the opposite with her bosses.

    Please sit down and have a lengthy discussion about the jihad threat with people like Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller, Hugh Fitzgerald, Daniel Greenfield, John Guandolo, Frank Gaffney, etc.

    • And if you don’t want to do that, just come to this site and read some of the articles; or go to Mr. Ibrahim’s site or Ms. Geller’s. A few minutes of reading their postings could open the eyes of the mind, wide.
      Even a little knowledge in this case could help thwart a dangerous thing.

  4. Qatar should be declared a terrorist state unless they turn over the Hamas leaders, and all their money (Hamas leaders’)
    Should have been done on Oct 7 or even before.

    Trump guarantees Qatar’s security… but doesn’t specify from whom. Iran, perhaps? Wouldn’t it be nice to drive a wedge between Qatar and Iran? Hmmm.

    We hoped President Trump was better than this. He was our light and inspiration in dark times. We looked across the pond in envy.

    I hope he knows what he is doing by protecting the principal funder of the Muslim brotherhood with the strength of America.

    This does not bode well for the West.

  10. He may be working on the old adage ” keep your friends close but your enemies closer “.
    He will have no influence if he throws them under the bus.
    Other countries may consider joining the Arabian accord with Israel if they are isolated.
    He did not kill the Iranian boss, he makes friends with Qatar so keeps all his enemies divided.
    If he destroyed Iran, pulled out of Qatar the rest of the Moslems could concentrate upon destroying Israel and world domination.
    I don’t think he needs another golf course that badly.
    Or, he may be greedy and thick!!

      • Well done Wellington and for the not so bright people on this site, let me explain.
        Qatar is the main sponsor of the Moslem Brotherhood. They are a threat to all of the Arab countries because their citizens would vote for them and support them which would mean the end of the Saud’s
        UAE etc. They are also the main [ cash wise ] sponsor of terrorism which mainly affects the Arab countries.
        If Trump pulled the military base out of Qatar, how many weeks before the neighbours gobbled it up.
        Not many I would guess.
        Why would Trump get Bibi to apologise for trying to kill Hamas in Qatar? He must have chocked on his words and washed his mouth out with petrol afterwards.
        He had to do it because Qatar, now protected by the USA keeps the other Arab countries busy so not aiding the destruction of Israel. Best to stay friends with Israel and agree to the peace deal.
        Bad Hamas for rejecting it, best kill them all, the plan all along but with the Arabs now on side.
        Leave Iran with half a dozen rockets and uranium enriched to 60 per cent. Iran cannot use the uranium for a bomb that will fit in a rocket because at 60 per cent the bomb would have to be the size of a truck
        to be effective. The only way it is a threat to Israel is if it is moved by lorry or Ship. However it is a threat to other closer Arab countries. It could be called divide and conquer or manipulation for the greater good.
        Think of Qatar as a rattle snake with fangs full of venom. Trump throws it a rat and it craps out billions of dollars. New plane Trumpie yes. new golf course why not. Bribery is the way of the Arabs so they think he is so stupid they can buy him. Give him a bit of credit, he is not stupid.

        • It is the criticism of Trump that I objected to. Trump is playing chess, a few bombers and Qatar could be wiped off the face of this earth in 20 minutes, then what? Everyone is happy yes.
          Biden was turning the whole Middle East towards China and gave up his queen in Afghanistan.
          The fight is with Islam not state sponsors of terrorism because they all are terrorists because of the religion.
          Israel, for various reasons has made a pigs ear of the Gaza thing. If the roles were reversed any Islamic country would have sorted it in a couple of weeks, just gone in and wiped them all out and got a stiff letter from the UN, job done. Qatar is Hamas, until the Gaza thing is sorted it is better that they think Trump is their new best friend. The other Arab states hate Qatar and only the American base is the reason they still exist. Qatar know this. They will keep him on side and resolve Gaza in the best way possible for Israel. For people on this site to say that Trump has been bribed with a Golf Course [ which he desperately needs in Qatar !] and a plane he neither needs or probably wants. I will stick with not very bright with all respect due. Let us wait for the end game before we judge, only half a dozen countries world wide have not condemned Israel so the USA only has one reliable ally in the world. Israel.

  11. Imbecile Trump is funding and protecting our enemies, Muslim Countries, as Islam’s Muslims discriminate, violate, and terrorize Non-Muslims in America, Israel and the West as taught in Islam’s Quran(Quran 9:5-29, 111; 98:6-7, etc.). President Trump is not America First.

    Allah’s hateful Islam, a CRIMINAL-TERRORIST ENTERPRISE and a MURDEROUS-DEMONIC CULT OF BELIEVERS, Terrorist Muslim Soldiers for Allah, continually fund, promote, and practice ideological subversion, propaganda, bigotry, discrimination, deceit, industrial-scale slavery, human trafficking, intimidation, supremacy, segregation, hatred, incitement to violence, criminality, genocide, victimhood, censorship, and terrorism as taught in Islamic Law, Sharia, and in Islam’s Quran(Quran 5:14,35; 8:60; 9:41, 88, etc.).

    As taught by Allah, Muslims are terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and their LIVES. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 states, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Allah in Quran 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”
    MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence.

  12. Trump personalizes foreign policy. Qatar’s leaders have been friendly to him, so ipso facto, Qatar is an American ally. Along the same lines, notice how he constantly brings up his relationship with Putin as key to peace, so that when Russia bombs Ukraine, Trump scolds Putin as though he were his disobedient child or unfaithful friend.

  14. This is what the gift of a 747 gets you. Trump is a businessman, not a statesman.

  15. Trump is hopeful that his 20 point plan will lead to “eternal peace” in the Middle East. He’s clueless about Islam and its jihad imperative. The jihad against Israel and every other part of what remains of the infidel world is to be waged permanently, until the entire globe is under Shari’a. During his first term, he expressed his suspicion that “Islam hates us.” He was right. I used to think he could not be bought, but I was wrong. And we’re in serious trouble.

  16. For all his boasts in 1916 that he “could not be bought”, this President has shown an incredible lack of perceptiveness about how his moves towards a country that even Saudi Arabia regards as a terror-supporting country, could be viewed by the public

    And no, I don’t care if the planes that the al Thanis give him ultimately go to the USAF. We don’t need squat from the country that like Fuckistan, plays both sides

  17. Probably best to just wait and see what develops. After watching Trump’s moves, and seeing how he is downsizing our government during the shutdown, I am prone to think there is a plan, yet to be revealed. Patience, grasshopper!
