Members of this council have included such stellar human rights centers as Algeria, Angola, Burkina Faso, Congo, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, Iraq, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, and Russia.
