No, Jews Are Not Voting for Mamdani

Ignore the fake polls.

There are fake polls out there, but the real polling is pretty clear.

75% of New York State Jews have a negative view of Mamdani. Only 15% have a positive one.

Siena did include a smaller New York City voter survey with a fairly small sample size. It’s less reliable for polling Jews because of that small total sample size since 317 voters means we’re probably looking at a Jewish sample size in the low double digits.

It shows 44% of Jews voting for Cuomo, 23% voting for Sliwa, and 20% voting for Mamdani.

The New York Times/Siena poll shows no Jewish affinity for Mamdani either.

A lot of people are citing the FOX News poll claiming that Cuomo and Mamdani are neck and neck among Jewish voters.

The poll is wrong. Period.

One tell is that margin of error at 9.5% for its Jewish respondents is higher than any other group.

A second tell is that credible polling has significant Jewish backing for Sliwa while the FOX News poll shows very little. A third tell is that New York City has the largest Jewish conservative base in the country, which was reflected not only in polls, but in actual elections, and yet the FOX News poll shows Jews as cliched liberals. What that indicates to me is that unlike the Times/Siena poll, the FOX News poll really did not sample Orthodox Jews.

The non-Jewish parts of the FOX News poll are also dubious. The FOX News poll shows Hochul with a much higher approval rating than she has in real life.

And the biggest red flag for the FOX News poll is it would have us believe that 42% of New Yorkers are satisfied with the way things are today. I have never seen any numbers like that. Most New Yorkers are quite unhappy and that’s one of the things driving the Mamdani campaign.

What went wrong with the FOX News poll? I don’t know. Liberals were clearly oversampled. But it doesn’t reflect the reality of Jewish voters or New York City voters.

  3. Any Jew voting for Mamdani has something wrong with them, only the nature of the wrong being open to question.

    But then ANYONE voting for Mamdami has something wrong with them. It is not possible to be an informed and patriotic person, possessed of both common sense and moral intelligence, and yet vote for this man, with the possible exception, and this is a stretch, that doing so will so utterly ruin the Democratic Party nationally, a party which has truly become an anti-American party, that the sacrifice of NYC for America at large would be worth it.

    • There is a lot of Anti-Semitism, more than anyone thinks. Black people other than those who are very religious who may see a danger in his Islamic outreaches. But with the NOI- Nation of Islam a very popular group with wide appeal with black people from the Malcolm X days, Muslims are more accepted by black people and will have no problem voting for Mamdani. Latins will see things economically and hope Mamdani can deliver. Catholics may have some concerns but then again the economics may override those concerns. And we have seen many young white students marching against Israel and with Hamas and those people ( if they vote) will be very happy to vote for Mamdani.

    • Sadly, there are too many New Yorkers who just loathe this country. That a city that was targeted by muslims on 9/11 would even entertain the concept of “islamophobia” being a charge just has to be seen to be believed

    • Just about everyone who is left of center these days has something wrong with them. When I was young, leftists liked the Soviet Union, and the Soviet Union was leftist, so that made sense. Today, leftists like Muslims, who are ultra-conservative, and this makes no sense whatsoever.

      Think about the Queers for Palestine. They have no knowledge of the people they are supporting. Judith Butler, whose fans think of her as the smartest person in the world, supports Hamas, even though they would kill her in an instant if she actually lived there. She’s Jewish, a lesbian, etc. She thinks of Hamas as part of the global left, though anyone without ideological blinders on can see that they are part of global jihad.

  4. My educated guess is that a large portion of Orthodox Jews completely ignore social media and anything with an electronic buzz. The Haredi News even have a dedicated wireless phone service with audio only and that restricts service on Shabbat to emergency calls only. In short unreachable by any electronic-based polling tool. But they READ! BOY DO THEY READ!!!

  5. After the elections I do not think you will find many Jews who admit they voted for Mamdani. This proves that polls can be worthless. If a person voted for a candidate and that candidate won there would be little reason to deny you voted for him/her. So they polls are simply almost entirely wrong.

  6. I read on some site that Jews were in the streets supporting the goon who will crack down on Jews like hitler did.
    It’s really hard to believe that **any** number of Jews would support someone who hates as muzzies hate.
    People like g soros who are Jews only in name/family ties, may support him, but they shouldn’t be counted as Jews.

    The Jews in NYC and everywhere else, should view this slug as the Jews viewed haman. Not that they should take Justice into their hands, but their view of the muzzie should be like what Esther said to her husband about the man who wanted to hang Mordecai. .

      • I’m not sure that anyone born in Hungary in 1930 would have pretended to be Jewish. That being said, his was a non-observant family.

      • Either way, he’s not really a Jew….his voice and his choices should be seen from the standpoint that he is an enemy.

  7. All polls that are meant for media usage are scams..in kinder words they are “unfairly selective”.
    In a broad sense the samples are chosen to select only responders who, more often than not, fit the category that the actual funder of the research favours.

  10. Republicans don’t understand basic math. Only one country in the world is not anti- semitic, the United States. We allow mass migration from hundreds of anti- Semitic countries and then wander why anti- semitism is increasing.

  12. Our Jewish compatriots need to wake up. In SA many Jews supported the ANC and now thirty years later the ANC turns on them, If Jews in New York vote for this candidate the same will happen.

  13. History has a strange way of repeating itself. Mamdani represents what people came to America to get away from.
