Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York won’t be that bad, right?
After all, he won’t be able to do everything that he wants to do. This is still America, and a full-on commie like this guy will encounter all kinds of roadblocks.

At the same time, many Americans regard the prospect of Zohran Mamdani becoming mayor of New York as the triumph of the best aspects of our nation. An immigrant, the son of immigrants, comes to this country and is not only welcomed, but quickly rises to the leadership of our greatest city. Xenophobia and racism are thereby rebuked, and America lives up to its reputation as the land of equality and opportunity where any person who excels can rise to the top.
Well, yes, but the full story of Zohran Mamdani is even worse than what is generally known, as I show in my new book, Intifada on the Hudson: The Selling of Zohran Mamdani. He is indeed an immigrant, but he stands openly and unapologetically for policies that, if implemented even in part, would not show off what is best about America. Instead, they would plunge New York City into new depths of economic and social misery. The reason why this can be stated with certainty isn’t hard to find: Everywhere socialism has been implemented, the results have been the same.
Socialism has not been beneficial either for individuals or societies. Those who would invoke the soft socialism of the Scandinavian countries should note that not even those countries have implemented all the socialist schemes Mamdani has said he wants to bring to New York City. And the primary ingredient that Mamdani needs to implement these schemes is money from the wealthy people he despises, who will almost certainly make it impossible for him to realize his plans and dreams as they simply leave the city.
Yet that does not render Mamdani harmless. Even if he loses the mayoral election or ultimately lacks the funding his projects require, he will have done a great deal—with his glibness, slickness, and charm—to bring his dangerous ideas into the American mainstream. These ideas are not new to him or to the world. When Zohran Mamdani talks about providing free buses, the buses aren’t really free. Even slaves didn’t provide free labor—they had to be fed, clothed and housed. Someone has to pay for the buses to be powered with gasoline or electricity, to be maintained, to be stored somewhere when they aren’t in use, and more.

Mamdani is a fraud. Socialism and Islam can’t exist together. whole I slam plz is men above woman, Socialism considers both genders to be equal. If he is a Socialist, he will gain a dose of political reality if he wins the e!ection. If he is an Isla.jst, he will try to bring in Sharia Law I through a back dokr.
NYC gets to choose between a liarr and a poster boy for political corruption. This reminds me when Louisiana got to choose between a KKK member and a thief for LA Governor.

Socialism considers both “genders” (the word you’re seeking is SEX) equal….Yes, socialism resulted in the death of 10’s of millions of men and women during the 20th century alone. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, etc. were progressive tyrants.

Mamdani’s cruise to becoming mayor of NYC is the expression of the underlying symptom of really stupid people making up the voters of NYC. Even if one is dirt poor, communism is the worst thing that can happen. There will be a time when it will appear to be good for the poor, during the transition. But, as the rich and businesses flee the city, then slowly but surely, shelves will be bare, and the “free” services will be so poor in quality that no one will use them.
The only captive audience in NYC are the property owners. As they are increasingly taxed to make up shortfalls to support free everything, property values will plummet and even the fancy condos on the Upper East Side will become worthless.
The other real problem is that the City Council leans left more than the Tower of Piza, and would be all to willing to support more communism in NYC.

I wonder if this wretched young man actually becomes mayor of NYC if it will not result in a landslide for Republicans in the 2026 elections and do irreversible damage to the Democratic Party nationwide, a party that has most certainly become an enemy of America. If so, it might be worth it. Not sure.

I do hope that in New Jersey and Virginia, the GOP pulls off upsets. In the former, Jack Ciatterelli has now sued his opponent for accusing him of being behind fentanyl smuggling, and is closing the gap. In Virginia, Miyares looks like a shoo-in, but it remains to be seen whether he can pull Winsome-Seares across the finish line. I sure hope that the Lt Gov race there trounces the mohammedan candidate Ghazali of the (D) side, even if Sears goes down

I have those same musings. I was sorry when Trump wasn’t reelected in 2020,
but it gave Americans a nice big dose of the insane policies and doublethink

It gave Trump years to plan out the details of his comeback so he hit the

Mamdani can be easily denaturalized and deported for lying about Islamic and communist activities before bring granted citizenship. Same with that Somali woman and her brusband. Then again the active extradition request filed by Hungary to extradite nazi war criminal Soros can be done by trump any time of the day.

Watched the mayoral debate last night. Mamdani is set to win by default. There was nothing remotely conservative about even Curtis Sliwa, who’s the GOP candidate there. For instance, he too raised his hand when asked which of the candidates would oppose cooperating w/ ICE in getting people out of the country. Michael Savage was right 4 years ago when he described him as a fraud in a red beret

Mamdani is a Socialist/Islamist disaster waiting to happen in NY city. New Yorkers will get what they deserve, something other than democracy or a Constitutional Republic. Could it be any worse than 2 States that allow for Mega-Muslim Developments? Will we eventually, be engulfed by rogue States?

If NYC elects this dreadful candidate they will deserve everything they have to suffer. The only ones I feel sorry for are those who do not vote for him. In UK have a good example of a socialist dictator in London’s Khan but awful as he is, he is nothing like as bad as Mamdani. Are there not enough examples of Left wing mayors and governors in USA to warn the people of NYC of the consequences?
