Mamdani receives endorsement from Arab MK in the Knesset

It’s indeed “unusual” that Zohran Mamdani would receive endorsement from Knesset, but the title in Israel National News is misleading. Anti-Israel Arab MK Ahmad Tibi, not “the Knesset,” endorsed Mamdani.

Controversial New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, who has gained notoriety for his far-left and staunchly anti-Israel positions, received a strong endorsement from an, all things considered, unexpected source: a member of the Israeli Knesset.

The Arab Anti-Zionist Ta’al party chairman MK Ahmad Tibi said in a public statement on Monday: “There is a young, articulate, and visionary character who brings a new and refreshing spirit of social justice and universal principles to the elections in New York.”

According to Tibi, “Zohran is a leader who unites all of the cities’ communities, Christians, Muslims, and Jews, around him, thanks to his integrity, courage, and public commitment.”

“Despite the racist and Islamophobic attacks, he continues to stand strong, speak clearly against hate and discrimination, and represent the clear and important idea that everyone is equal and deserving.”

There are virulently anti-Israel Arabs in Knesset, which proves that Israel is not an apartheid state, and even more importantly, shows how much Israel bends over backwards to accommodate Arabs, even to the point of self-destruction.

Israel National News reported in 2015:

In 2012, Tibi praised the Palestinian Authority’s “martyrs” at a ceremony held on the occasion of “Palestinian Martyrs Day” and sponsored by PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

“In the history of the peoples and their battles, the Palestinian shahid (martyr) is the height of glory,” Tibi said at the ceremony. “There is no higher value than death for the sake of Allah. The martyr is the one who breaks through and with his blood draws the journey to freedom and liberation.”

A member of Knesset openly advocating the murder of Israelis? Where else on earth would that be tolerated in any government, save Israel? Although the red-green axis is alive and kicking across Western societies, no government representative would openly endorse murdering that country’s citizens and get away with it.

A new law last year, “Basic Law-The Knesset,” disqualified any candidate if he or she supports “armed struggle by a hostile state or a terrorist organization against the State of Israel,” or the “negation of the existence of the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.”

In July of this year, the Knesset was set to impeach Arab politician Ayman Odeh (the head of the Hadash Party) over his statement that he was “glad over the freeing of the hostages and the [Palestinian] prisoners.” It didn’t happen, but three weeks ago, Odeh and his fellow Arab MK Ofer Cassif were expelled from the Knesset for disrupting Trump’s speech as Trump was praising envoy Steve Witkoff. The two MKs shouted “terrorist” at Trump and held up signs that read “Recognize Palestine” and “genocide.” Israel has been far too tolerant of the war that wages within.

According to Caroline Glick, Arab Israelis are building an army under Israel’s nose.

Tibi should not be in Knesset, and his endorsement of Mamdani is a negative commentary on Mamdani. Of course, just because a terrorist supports a candidate, that doesn’t mean that the candidate supports terrorism. But in the case of Mamdani, it’s almost certainly a two-way street.

    In Hindi and Urdu, “firang” is an informal term historically used to describe foreigners or Westerners.
    But Mehek Cooke, an attorney born in India who serves as a GOP consultant and commentator, told Fox News Digital that the word is not “some harmless cultural term,” but rather a “slur.”

    “It’s the word used back in India to mock outsiders, to say you don’t belong,” Cooke said. “Using it here about your own child raised in the United States carries the same tone as calling someone a derogatory word — or worse.     Cooke added, “When Mamdani’s mother says her son was ‘never a firang and only desi,’ it’s a rejection of America. It’s ungrateful, disrespectful, and frankly repulsive to live in this country since age seven, receive every freedom, education, and opportunity America offers, and still deny being American.”

  5. Yair Lapid propoised a Knesset bill to revoke voting rights for haredim who refuse to serve in the IDF. That should also extend to any anti-state actors, such as far leftists and jihadis. Democracy is not a suicide pact.

  6. Wait. There’s an Arab in the Knesset? Why? In fact, why are there any Muslims in Israel AT ALL? Muslims have 50-plus Muhammadan utopias to live and thrive in. They don’t need to be anywhere else – and that includes Europe.

    • According to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) the Muslims have 57 nations.

      According to them, they were created to “Protect Muslims” around the world. If you look them, you’ll see how they describe it. They have offices throughout Europe and EVEN HAVE AN OFFICE in WASHINGTON , DC! Why? Why do we and the Western world allow this?

That sounds horrific, but look up how they did it. It’s so shocking how cruel and evil they were – and still are. Their genocide resembles the Holocaust. It’s so similar it makes one wonder who came up with idea- Hitler or all those Young Turk’s?

      Ai says that Muslims were a large part of the SS and other parts of Hitler’s army. So far, 4 out 4 Ai companies say it. They even list the amounts and their positions. The Muslim SS was the ones that were responsible for the Yugoslav massacres – and was mainly Muslim SS. And again, the Balkans! Muslims again after the Ottomans fell continued to make sure the Balkans were exterminated from Jews and Christians!

      Yet, it’s been hidden from the world all this time! England knew and didn’t prosecute them for war crimes – but instead released them and hid it from the world. And according to Mitchell Bard, in his book Myths and Facts, England not only released them and hid their involvement from the world, but also introduced them to the other terror organizations around the world – to “wipe out the fledging state of Israel.” The reason (or excuse). is that Muslims had received oil rich nations and England wanted to be in their good graces.

      I’m still wondering what other allied nations knew.

      This genocide was done by The Young Turks, who then fled to Germany at the end of WWI which coincided with the end of the Ottoman Empire.

      Back to the OIC. Everyone should look up this group! They should be investigated, as well. They are rarely mentioned but wherever they show up, bad things happen to the “infidels.”

      They (the OIC) have a Permanent Observer position in the UN (this Permanent Observer was given to them in December 2024 due to the war in Gaza) and 2015 they also had their Observer status elevated to Permanent Observer in the EU!

      Look up what their Permanent Observer status gives them.

      When you look them up, look why this group was started in the first place (there was a fire in the Al Aqsa mosque. It was a small fire set by an Australian non Jewish person but, like everything they exaggerated the fire and the whole thing. (As I write this, my thoughts went to a spoiled bratty child, screaming).

      If we remain complacent and keep ignoring what they are doing, don’t be surprised when we and our children end up like the infidel slaves like in the Ottoman Empire. It’s the only good look at what they did to us, and we’re ignorant of this AND ignoring it.

      • The Armenian Genocide began under the Ottoman Empire, continued under the Young Turks, and finally under Attaturk. These Turks disagreed on many thing, but no on mass slaughtering Christians.
