After the scandal of Zohran Mamdani meeting with Imam Siraj Wahhaj broke, the New York Post did what the rest of the local media refused to do, reporting on the fact that the candidate for mayor had…
- posed with an unindicted co-conspirator in the Blind Sheikh plot to bomb NYC landmarks
- spoke at a mosque that had been under NYPD surveillance for its terror ties
- embraced an imam who had called for Jihad and the takeover of America
As part of its reporting, the New York Post even picked up the viral video that Freedom Center Investigates posted in which Wahhaj spewed hate at America.
Mamdani had no defense against any of this except to cry ‘Islamophobia’. And his Islamist allies at CAIR went one better by threatening to stop distribution of the New York Post to suppress its reporting on Mamdani.
CAIR, Emgage and a group of Yemeni bodega owners rallied to threaten the newspaper for reporting the truth about Mamdani and Wahhaj and demanding “a public apology to Imam Siraj Wahhaj, Muslim Americans” and “an end to government officials legitimizing the Post’s platform”.
CAIR, notably, is a prominent backer of the Mamdani campaign, and the rally’s organzier, Debbie Almontaser, was a board member of the Muslim Democratic Club alongside Mamdani so these are really close Mamdani associates threatening the paper for reporting on the candidate.
There’s no attempt even being made to disprove the facts about Wahhaj, which includes quotes from the anti-American extremist, just brute force intimidation and censorship.
New York City is getting a taste of how Islamists wield any power that they have, to silence, suppress and terrorize all opposition. There is no free speech or a free press under Islam. And there won’t be a free press if Islam rules over New York.

I saw one interview of Trump about who he would take and he basically said that if Mamdani was elected that everything was gonna have to go through Trump because he wasn’t gonna let him destroy New York… and Trump was getting criticism for those comments what I found odd was that he didn’t side with Sliwa… and instead said that he was gonna lose. He said nothing about him and I kind of felt wondered if he doesn’t like Sliwa… and said that if we had to choose between a democrat and a communist neither one was good but he would choose the Democrat. And that’s all he said as far as I can tell… but it definitely wasn’t a supportive as Sliwa may have wanted forgotten like it just didn’t seem like he said anything other than if Mamdani takes over the Federal government will ensure he stays in line. Given the voter profile of NY, it is obvious that Curtis Sliwa will be odd-man out. Trump isn’t disparaging him; just recognizing a political truth. At least Cuomo is a “known quantity.” Not much good, of course, but definitely better than a commie muzzie.

A lot of people are concerned about the Akbar Mamdani candidacy but I am not. Even though I dont live in NYC I am a supporter for one reason. Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. In case you haven’t noticed, all across Western civilization, we are at war. It is a somewhat apocalyptic battle for Western civilization. The enemy we face is a diverse coalition of lunatics with opposing ideals. Our adversary has left us with one choice, utterly destroy them or be destroyed ourselves.

If I were a federal judge on a CAIR case, their attorneys would be sanctioned for frivolous lawsuits in about 1/2 the cases that they bring. Unfortunately it costs real money to defend such suits and most of those Sue’s by CAIR don’t have insurance that covers litigation.

And some of my family live in Texas. Wishing for that state too.

Over the centuries my family moved around a lot. Always looking for something new, something better. My mom is from Mississippi, my dad from Kansas. One grandfather was from Kentucky. One great grandfather from Texas. I lived almost all of my life in Orange County California. I wasn’t born there I was born just before my dad got out of the Army and we moved to OC right after that. The county in my early years was about half and half rural and city but it changed dramatically over the decades. I had finally had enough of what it changed in to so about five years ago I moved to Nevada.
Almost moved to Florida instead (Port Charlotte). Went to Idaho around the same time and checked it out but it kind of irritated me because one of the first people met there was anti-Californian. I thought that was funny because where I came from in OC was considered Reagan country. At that time Idaho was democrat so the people there had no reason to complain about me. I thought, who do they think they are?
My dads sister lived in OC with her four boys before we came there. Now, my brothers kids are scattered all around. Texas, Montana, Colorado. No one in my family lives in California now. For me, Nevada was intended to be a way station while I decided where to go for the rest of my life. I spent a lot of time at lake in the Desert when I was young. I always thought, it’s a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there. But here I am. Life can be funny that way. Today, I dont really have any idea where to go. I have even thought about spending a year in Italy just to see what it is like. The hardest part for me is deciding where to go.

As long as all the other states closely monitor this NYC lab experiment in electing this inexperienced, unqualified, muslim, socialist, communist, jihadist, liar, clown, or whatever he may be, I think it is a benefit for the greater USA. This is exactly why we are a Republic of individual states. One state can go off the rails but it becomes a learning experience for the people of other states.
