In rare move, Red Cross joins Israel in condemning Hamas for staging recovery of a hostage’s remains

Hamas aims to conceal the indignities and barbarity to which its jihadists subjected the hostages’ bodies; this would be discovered if they were released. The remains of the hostages  may also have been disposed of in some way that renders them irrecoverable.

The Times of Israel reported that “on Monday afternoon, Hamas brought the remains of Tzarfati out of a building and placed them in a large hole it had dug in the ground in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City. It then covered the body bag in dirt and pretended to uncover it for the first time in front of the Red Cross.”

The rare criticism of Hamas from the Red Cross in response to the fake retrieval that Hamas falsely claimed to be that of the remains of Ofir Tzarfati will, one hopes, open more blinded eyes.

In every generation for 1,400 years, Islam has advanced, gone into dormancy when necessary, and tactically employed taqiyya and propaganda to advance its mission of conquest. In the case of Hamas (The Islamic Resistance Movement) — and all jihadist groups and states that sponsor it — the goal is to annihilate Israel from the River to the Sea by whatever means possible. They package that goal as a “resistance” to colonization, but this is a lie. The “resistance” to Jewish immigration to the Jews’ ancient homeland began BEFORE the founding of the modern state of Israel.

Israel remains the only country in the region where Islamic rule has been rolled back, which amounts to a humiliation to Islam. When Muhammad made his flight to Medina and the Jewish tribes rejected him, he slaughtered them (by beheading, among other means) and the ongoing jihad began against the Jews.

According to the Jewish Virtual Library:

One of the immediate consequences of Muhammad’s frustration was the expulsion of two Jewish tribes from Medina and the murder of all the members of a third Jewish tribe (except for the women and children, who were sold into slavery). But even worse for the long-term treatment of the Jews were a number of inflammatory statements about Jews that Muhammad made that appear in the Koran — which, over the years, stoked Arab/Islamic anti-Semitism.

Fueling the “resistance” is Islamic religious zeal; it cannot be tamed by means of Western reasoning and bargaining. The indignities committed to the hostages were, as far as the jihadists are concerned, entirely deserved.

Israel has released a video appearing to show Hamas temporarily burying a corpse to fake the discovery of a deceased hostage.

Footage shot from a drone released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) appears to show Hamas terrorists digging a large hole before placing a body bag into it and covering it with soil.

The militants then film the “discovery” of the body before handing it over to the Red Cross.

The Red Cross condemned Hamas for staging the recovery of a hostage’s remains, in a rare statement criticising the terror group.

The organisation said its staff only saw what appeared to be the recovery of the body.

“It is unacceptable that a fake recovery was staged, when so much depends on this agreement being upheld and when so many families are still anxiously awaiting news of their loved ones,” the organisation said.

The terror group was accused earlier this week of worsening the anguish of the families of those still missing in Gaza by trying to pass off the partial remains of a different Israeli killed on Oct 7 as one of the 13 hostages yet to be handed back under the Trump ceasefire deal.

The partial human remains turned out to belong to Ofir Tzarfati, whose body was handed over in November 2023….
