Gazans were very aware of what Hamas stood for when they voted for the group. And what Hamas stands for is the same as what all Muslim Brotherhood proponents offshoots stand for. Hamas (Ḥarakat al-Muqāwamah al-ʾIslāmiyyah) translates to “The Islamic Resistance Movement.” It embodies what Islam is in accordance with the Sharia: global conquest. Forced conversions by jihadists are ubiquitous and common throughout Islamic history. Hamas is no different from the historical Islamic marauders. They tried to break the Israeli hostages and failed.
As recorded in the biography of Muhammad:
[Muhammad] said, “Woe to you, Abu Sufyan, isn’t it time that you recognize that I am Allah’s apostle?” He (Abu Sufyan) answered, “As to that I still have some doubt.” I (the narrator) said to him, “Submit and testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the apostle of Allah before you lose your head,” so he did so. Deceivers try to separate Hamas and the Palestinian “resistance” from normative Islam, but they are inseparable. A reminder: the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has repeatedly identified the Palestinian cause as central to the Muslim ummah.

Rom Braslavski, one of the 20 hostages freed by Hamas on Monday as part of a U.S.-brokered ceasefire, was held alone for two years, and was offered better treatment if he agreed to convert to Islam.
His testimony was shared with the media via his mother, Tami Braslavski, at Ramat Gan’s Sheba Hospital, where he is being treated.
During some of those two years, his only company was the bodies of murdered hostages, she said. She added that upon his return to Israel, he had reported the location of the bodies to Brig. Gen. (res.) Gal Hirsch, Israel’s National Coordinator for the Hostages and the Missing….

I had seen this a day or two ago and it puts the lie to what some have claimed….that hamas didn’t have food to share with their victims.

Hamas by offering their starving Israeli captives, who they had kidnapped. more food, if they converted to Islam, is a bribe. What’s more, this is very revealing that the religion of Islam has no good valid reasons to cause people to convert to it. Therefore, a bribe was offered to pressure them join “The House of Islam.”

I am in awe of these Jewish Israeli hostages who stubbornly said NO, and NO, and NO, to that hideous ‘call to Islam’. Many, indeed, in captivity, who before that captivity might have been described as semi-secular, defiantly rediscovered and reaffirmed their Jewish identity: there in the darkness of the pit.
It made me think of the story from the Book of Daniel: the three young men in the fiery furnace.
In the Hebrew scriptures the children of Israel are sometimes referred to as a ‘stiff-necked’ people. Well: being ‘stiff-necked’ can be a good thing. It means you can dig in your toes and withstand pressure that would cause the average person to buckle…There are no ‘Yvonne Ridleys’ amongst those many Jewish captives who emerged from the dark pits of captivity in Gaza. Hamas could not parade even one of them as a convert to Islam.
(And it is quite possible that of the hostages who were murdered while in captivity – as opposed to those who were already dead when dragged into Gaza so that their *bodies* could be used as bargaining chips and paraded as trophies of Jihad – some may well have been murdered because they had been ‘invited’ by their captors to ’embrace Islam or else’ and instead .. with incredible bravery.. said NO, NO, and again NO].

Every testimony of every jewish hostage, returned from Gaza, who was pressured, while in captivity, to conform to Islamic practice (e.g. women forced to wear Islamic dress), who was pressured to convert to Islam, or told that they would be forced to thus convert, should be recorded and collated. And then shoved under the noses of every western so-called ‘leader’ and every viciously-stupid or useful-idiot ‘protester’ who is in the corner for the cause of ‘palestine’.
Because the testimony of these Jewish hostages makes absolute NONSENSE of the idea that ‘hamas’ or ‘palestinian islamic jihad’ or the rest of them, are about ‘liberating ‘palestine’. It shows plainly that the war on the Jews of Israel is nothing but jihad bloody jihad: that it’s about spreading Islam, imposing Islam, expanding the dominance of Islam over other peoples and *territory*. Just the same as the war waged by Pakistan against India, or the war of extermination waged by Muslims in Africa against other, non-Muslim Africans, in Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, northern Mozambique, Sudan, etc.
Every western Useful Idiot (especially those from the churches !!) who has been parading in the streets in solidarity with Hamas and the islamic jihad fortress that is Gaza (which is merely a promontory, or forward operating base, of the vast swath of territory and billion-strong human swarm that is the Ummah or Mohammedan Mob, the de facto Empire of Islam) has to be asked point blank: are you in favour of forced conversions to a religion? Are you in favour of people – people who have been seized, kidnapped, held hostage – being forced to convert to a religion not their own, or threatened with being forced to convert? Because if you are not.. why are you backing, praising, marching, shouting and screaming and raging in the streets or holding tearful candlelit vigils in *churches* (!!) – in support of a brutally cruel entity – Hamas, a wholly-owned sub-franchise of the Ummah or empire of Islam – that has attempted to force its Jewish captives to convert to Islam???
