Should Muslims have the right to vandalize churches?
Muslims vandalized the Uncommon Church in Euless, Texas with obscene anti-Israel graffiti. Leftists and the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) quickly came to their defense, complaining that vandalizing churches is really protected by the First Amendment.
After Raunaq Alam, Afsheen Khan and Julia Venzor vandalized the church, the Dallas Observer claimed that prosecuting them “erodes the First Amendment rights of protesters and critics of the nation of Israel.”
The First Amendment protects the rights of people to express their opinion, not to vandalize a church.
The Uncommon Church had put up a flag in solidarity with Israel after Oct 7 as part of its Christian beliefs. Targeting the church over its beliefs is correctly, an anti-religious hate crime.
“Vandalizing a church property goes against the tenants (sic) of Islam; however, manipulating Texas’ hate crime laws to punish criticism of a foreign government will further erode public confidence in expressing their freedom of speech,” complained Imran Ghani, Director of Operations of CAIR-Texas Houston.
Under the ‘tenets’ of Islam, the correct thing to do to a church is to take it over and turn it into a mosque. And kill any Christians who protest.
Vandalizing it is a more minor way of doing things.
While CAIR constantly claims that Muslims face hate crimes, it protects Muslims who commit hate crimes.
If the Muslims in questions hadn’t vandalized a church, they wouldn’t be facing hate crime prosecutions.
In recent years, Muslims have attacked synagogues in ‘friendly’ Democrat areas in Los Angeles and New Jersey, and got away with it, as local prosecutors only charged the Jews who defended synagogues, not the Muslims who attacked them.
Texas, however, is not California.
And if Texas can’t get the job done, federal hate crimes charges may be in order.
Patrick says
All Islamic vandal’s of Christian/Jewish churches/synagogues in any country, should be shot on sight, each should advertise as such.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Of course! B’cos that’s what’s required in islam, which under the First Amendment, is a religion, and therefore, muslims have a right to practice it regardless of what it says – be it vandalizing others’ places of worship, jihad activity and subverting the law of the land
gravenimage says
Infidel–with all respect–you are mistaken. The First Amendment does *not* allow yiou to break the law in the name of religion.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Has it been tested in SCOTUS wrt islam? We saw how in Michigan, an FGM case against Bohra doctors who practiced it was dismissed in a court under “freedom of religion”, and it went no higher
I think any jihadist could claim in courts – carefully judge-shopped – that jihad is a requirement in islam and therefore he should be allowed to do it. Sooner or later, the rubber will hit the road, and our legal system will be forced to reconcile these claims w/ the status of islam as a recognized “religion”
gravenimage says
Infidel, this does not mean that we do not–like most of the West–have judges who will not enforce our laws.

Parents have been arrested and jailed due to a child dying from some illness doctors said could have been cured/treated, but the parents thought God would heal the child. Many have been in that situation where they believed that God didn’t want them going to a doctor, nor taking their children. so when the child died, the police took them parents to jail.
Some religions teach snake-handling, but it is not allowed in many areas due to the dangers. And some people believe in a religion which requires certain illegal substances are necessary for them, but the law has said “no” to the practice.
Just as murderous muzzies have been arrested, and rapist muzzies have been arrested, vandalism is also still against the law and punishable.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Back in the 90s, I recall hearing on a talk show “John & Ken” about a prisoner in California who claimed to belong to a self-created religion that required him to eat Chateaubriand daily, and the prison providing it on that basis. Believe me – it’s possible to pull off a lot of scams if branded under the label of “religion”, and it should be easier, not more difficult, for mohammedans to pull it off
somehistory says
I can’t say that they will never be allowed to persecute people and call it their *right*…it may happen, but it will be twisting the First Amendment by any court which says they can persecute other religious people.
Christians have the First Amendment Right not to be targeted for their Faith by muzziescum..

HELLO DANIEL,
HOW DO WE GET YOUR ARTICLE SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE US (ESPECIALLY THE CHRISTIAN & CATHOLIC WORLD) and HOW DO WE GET THIS TO BE SEEN BY THE APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT PERSON??
THIS MUST STOP!! Please instruct us what we can do to help!

Unfortunately, too many state and federal politicians have been bought by islamic-governments and their leftist supporters.
somehistory says
Freedom of Speech is guaranteed so that the *government* doesn’t control speech politicians don’t like…which biden and crew tried to do.
It doesn’t apply in every situation and circumstance. People and businesses **can** limit speech and property owners have the right to throw people off their property.
Vandalizing a church is not protected “speech” even if the perps are muzziescum expressing their own opinion regarding religion….or how they feel about the Jews.
The three perps need to be put somewhere besides the free streets….perhaps if not citizens, they can be sent packing.
Huh?!? says
As noted, this is not free speech. The perps need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. As they are Muslims, next step would be deportation. I do not believe it should matter if they are citizens. Citizens can be deported.
Huh?!? says
As I noted in another post, attacks on Christian Churches will increase if the U.S. allows Islam to increase. I pray Texas will take care of this matter.

Does anyone remember the family TV show “Seventh Heaven”?
1 episode the oldest daughter gets mixed up with some wild kids and vandalized the school gymnasium. They were caught and she had to go to a juvenile detention facility and work in community service. It went on her permanent school record.
2 an episode “Do Something!” The mom organized information boot about the t aliban She walks into her daughters’ shared room and she has a nightmare vision of them wearing blue butr kas and it was a truly terrifying scene.
Now 25 years later here they are.
G-d please help us.

The main problem here is the naming of Islam as a religion. It never was, and it will never be a religion. As long as it is treated as such, it will continue to spread its evil.
somehistory says
It was *named* by those who adhere to it. A religion can be one person who worships a boulder or a billion people who worship a mass-murdering, raper of children, psychopath.
The fact that it is a *religion* is not the problem. The problem lies in that the adherents are allowed to practice all of the things their foul and evil book of demon filth demands.

Wake up, do research. Islam: 1952 McCarron/Walters immigration bill became law in 1952, Islam was not allow in the United States because it is a theocracy, speed ahead democrats changed the wording of Islam from a theocracy to religion which led to Islam coming into America.
Also, constitution states it is the law of the land, sharia law is a foreign law. Why is Islam and its sharia law being able to operate inside of America? Why are American banks working with Islam and sharia law, the almighty dollar and no respect for our nation.
gravenimage says
Islam *is* a religion–but it is a religion that demands theocracy–Shari’ah law–among its tenets.
And the 1952 McCarron/Walters immigration bill never specifically banned Muslims (it probably *should* have, but that is another issue).
PRCS USN (ret) says
They are NOT allowed to practice ALL aspects of that religion here. While too many politicians, members of the judiciary, and so-called reporters do provide cover to Muslims who do or try to act out some of that religion’s lesser violations, I imagine the amputation of a human being’s hand and foot on opposite sides (Qur’an 5:33), and other violent, ‘divine’ punishments would not get the kid gloves treatment.
gravenimage says
Spot on, PRCS–nor child marriage, nor wife beating, nor raping unbelievers, nor waging Jihad terror, nor oppressing and murdering Infidels…
gravenimage says
Yes, Islam is a religion by definition. It is an *evil* religion. Christianity and Judaism are so civilized that many assume that every religion is ergo a force for good. But this is not automatically the case.
And no religion has the right to break the law.
PRCS USN (ret) says
True on both counts.

࿗Infidel࿘ says
💯
Loosely defined, it can be called a religion, but by those standards, so can communism and nazism. I tend to go by Rebecca Bynum’s arguments of why islam is not a religion, at least for the purposes of coverage by the First Amendment
Otherwise, any scam can be pushed forward after being duly branded a religion

Hamas-Linked CAIR Says Muslims Have Right to Vandalize Christian Churches
……………………………………..
*Just grotesque*. No, The First Amendment does *not* protect vandalism.
And few things are ore Islamic than vandalizing Churches–save for raping and murdering Christians.
Has Hamas finally gone too far breaking the law like this?
Westman says
In engineering it is common to model a function with an analog.
Does this model fit in any way? Islamic jihadis are like prostitutes, do all the dirty work while organizations like CAIR serve as the faces to the public, who insist the prostitution is a result of past victimization.

Yes the koran gives guidance on multiple atrocities that are urged in the name of allah. There are two fixes for this perplexing problem and they require little thought…just quick action.
1. Change the US Constitution Freedom of Religion clause to eliminate islamic (or similar) abuse
2. Ban the koran as it is unconstitutional.
gravenimage says
Freedom of religion is in the Bill of Rights–the First Amendment. Demands that we change our freedoms for Islam are *not* a good idea.
And if the Qur’an is banned only Muslims will read it. I have several editions of the Quran–including Robert Spencer’s The Critical Qur’an. No doubt I–and many other Anti-Jihadists here–would face prison time for wanting to know what Islam has in store for us.
Fuzzy says
So vandalizing a mosque would be free speech too?
࿗Infidel࿘ says
It would be “freedom of religion”, since various islamic texts call for the destruction of shrines of non-islamic faiths

Bexarkat says
The author has a good point. The content of the “speech” was not in question, but rather the target of the offenders.
In June 2025, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruled in Owens v. State “the application of the Texas penal code Sec. 4207 is limited in that not all offenseive or repetitve speech is illegal. The applicability of the statute must be considered in tandem with the first amendment and what is protected as free speech.” The defendant, Kevin J. Owens, was convicted of harassment for sending numerous electronic messages to his former therapist. These communications included offensive language. The relevant Texas statute criminalizes repeated electronic communications intended to harass or offend another person.
The Court of Criminal Appeals determined the prosecution improperly focused on the content of the messages rather than merely their repetition. Applying strict scrutiny, the court concluded that the state’s interest in preventing offensive communication was not compelling enough to restrict speech under the First Amendment. The court reaffirmed that offensive speech is protected. However the vandalism was done to a Christian church, which should make it a hate crime – even in Texas.
somehistory says
The muzzies claim they have the “freedom” to do this; but the Christians have the “freedom of religion” and the “private property” defense against the vandalism.
There is nothing in the Constitution which allows people of one *religion* to attack and vandalize property or people of another religion.
This was true before the many “hate crime statutes” were written. These criminals have no real defense for their crimes based on hatred. It should be nipped in the bud.
gravenimage says
If the graffiti incited violence, it is also illegal.

According to the writings of Islam:
ISLAM is a theocratic, totalitarian form of GOVERNMENT that has a religious aspect.
That is why there are Islamic countries with Islamic governments.
The tenants of Islam violate the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Islam’s writings seek to govern believers AND NON BELIEVERS alike.
In Islam there can be no separation of mosque and State. Islam IS the State.
Islam should be banned from the U.S. on the basis that it is a competing
form of government in direct violation of U.S. law.
U.S. citizens would not read “Mein Kampf” and the Nazi’s “25 Point Plan”
and then import Nazis, merely because they professed to be worshipers of Odin.
The U.S. government needs to stop importing unconstitutional, intolerant believers
of any kind.
ISLAM, BY ITS OWN WRITINGS, IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
Islam is a competing form to theocratic, totalitarian government that seeks
to replace the existing U.S. democratic, Republican, Constitutional government
with an Islamic State.
Chatillon says
