I think it is obvious “The Church” has failed us in the US. But the revival will come through the invisible “assembly” which is what the Greek word “ekklesia,” means. Some have pointed out the catalyst for the death of William Tyndale was that he did not translate ekklesia as Church but as “assembly” in his original translation work into English which later became the majority of the text of the KJV. So as a campus evangelist tied to no denomination I share this hope for God’s Spirit to move and bring people to genuine salvation. Maybe it will reach the lost left that are the membership class of so many churches but if it does not it may do more to bring collective change.
