Colombia’s president doubles down against Trump after visa revocation, calls him ‘complicit in genocide’

Columbian President Gustavo Petro has become an activist loose cannon, pursuing a vision of revolution in America. After having his US visa revoked, Petro is now doubling down on his call for the U.S. military to disobey President Donald Trump as commander-in-chief, and has called for Trump to be imprisoned for allegedly aiding “genocide” in Gaza. Earlier today, Colombian president @petrogustavo stood on a NYC street and urged U.S. soldiers to disobey orders and incite violence.

We will revoke Petro’s visa due to his reckless and incendiary actions.

Petro belongs to the chorus of defenders of Hamas as he deliberately turns a blind eye to Hamas’ use of human shields, which created a humanitarian disaster. Instead, he blames Israel for trying to defend itself from obliteration. Trump has stood by Israel, and so Petro is enraged. His response to his visa revocation was “I don’t care,” as he was “filmed joining thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters outside UN headquarters in New York.”

The Palestinian cause is to eliminate Israel from the River to the Sea, and the leftist cause has been to dismantle America and the West from within, destroying Western societies and the rule of law by flooding them with unvetted migrants from Sharia-adherent countries and others such as Mexico and the dangerous “Northern Triangle” of Central America: El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. People from those countries entered the U.S. through Mexico.

Everyone knows that not all of these illegals entering the U.S. (and other Western countries) are a danger to society, but all of them are indeed illegals. Also, unquestionable dangers lurk among them: drug cartels, human traffickers, jihadists, and criminals. According to the House Homeland Security Committee, warning in 2024 about China’s communist infiltration of America via the latter’s open borders: “More than 1,000 Chinese nationals have crossed the northern border every month for the past five months. The potential national security implications of this unprecedented influx are concerning, as a Chinese national in the U.S. illegally breached a military base in California and refused to leave on March 29.”

Gustavo Petro is, in fact, a former Marxist guerrilla fighter. The CATO Institute states this of him:

Petro began his public life in the late 1970’s as a member of the M‑19, the bloodthirsty urban guerrilla group that—among its many acts of terrorism— stormed the Ministry of Justice in November of 1985, held its magistrates and hundreds of employees as hostages, and ultimately caused the violent death of 111 people.

Petro’s background makes his incitement to revolution in the US particularly threatening. His country is now under a Level 3 travel advisory (which means”Reconsider Travel”) from the US Department of State, issued back in April. It stated: “Reconsider travel to Colombia due to crime, terrorism, civil unrest, and kidnapping.” Gustavo Petro is a corrupt politician who wants America to become like his own dysfunctional country, as a price for flinging its doors wide open to unvetted migration. He is a leader of chaos: a Marxist who advocates for woke “equity,” which is very different from equality. By so doing, he can fool his own population into trusting him. It’s a modus operandi that is familiar now in Western countries.

It’s mystifying how leftist and Marxist leaders starve their populations into compliance and maintain their belief in the left’s utopian dream.

Despite all, the left-leaning Associated press stated:

The revocation of Petro’s visa marks a new low in the leftist leader’s relation with the Trump administration, which earlier this month placed Colombia on a list of countries that it says are not fulfilling their international commitments to curb drug trafficking. David Hart, an immigration attorney based in Miami, said that it is very rare for non-immigrant visa holders — such as those with tourist or diplomatic visas — to renounce their travel permit.

The Associated Press doesn’t mention anything about Petro’s background as a former Marxist guerrilla fighter, which would have illuminated his present incitement to revolution. This is similar to the fact that there is little to no mention in the mainstream media about the devastating outcome of Hamas using human shields. Islam and Marxism have strengthened their alliance.

Now that Petro has had his visa revoked, his foreign affairs minister Rosa Villavicencio has done America a big favor in renouncing her own US visa, in solidarity with Petro. Let’s hope that more leftist leaders follow suit. Petro serves as an example and warning to America of what Marxism represents. The Associated Press’ reaction to his visa being revoked demonstrates how insane, revolutionary and irrational the left has become.
