Frankly, why not? The political class of the city where most of the 9/11 deaths took place is on the verge of electing an Islamist who just met with a Jihadist imam who refused to condemn Osama bin Laden.
Syria has been taken over by Al Qaeda/ISIS with our support, we’re in the middle of bailing out Hamas, and just gave Article V protection to Qatar which harbored Khalid Sheikh Mohammed: the mastermind of 9/11.
It’s the perfect time for the new CAIR curriculum.
The CAIR NJ chapter describes it as helping “teachers adopt a more nuanced approach to 9/11 in their classrooms.”
Here’s the more “nuanced” approach.
“The US fought the Soviet Union who had invaded Afghanistan in the 1980s by supporting the rebels that stood up against the Russian invaders, including a man named Osama bin Laden and people who later formed the Taliban.”
“A man named Osama bin Laden” standing up to “Russian invaders”. Also the Taliban.
The CAIR curriculum then urges teaching Osama bin Laden’s ‘Letter to America’.
The ‘Letter to America’ was not actually written by Bin Laden, but by a leftist American hippie who converted to Islam and produced propaganda meant to manipulate Americans. Urging people to read it is not a way of understanding Al Qaeda’s motives but to spread Al Qaeda propaganda to Americans.
It’s the difference between reading about Hitler’s plans and a transcript of a Lord Haw Haw broadcast.
The CAIR curriculum describes 9/11 as a “group self-identifying as Al Qaeda hailing from the mountains of Afghanistan launched separate plane hijackings” in response to “America’s support of Israel, their involvement in the Persian Gulf War, and the vast presence of the US military in the Middle East.”
The terrorists were originally mostly from Saudi Arabia. They used vectors such as Germany. The attacks were not about Israel and CAIR elides the stated justification, which is a religious objection to infidels being in the land of Mecca and Medina, not just the “vast presence of the US military in the Middle East.”
The rest is the expected ‘Muslims are the real victims of 9/11’ stuff.
“While Islamophobia and anti-Muslim racism existed long before the 9/11 attacks, this time period marked a stark shift in US policy and state sponsored Islamophobia in the US and abroad.” It then spends far more text on the supposed Islamophobia than on 9/11 where the deaths get about 1 sentence.
How many teachers are adopting this “nuanced” approach of circulating Al Qaeda propaganda and describing Osama bin Laden as a man standing up to “Russian invaders” as his defining identity?
Better keep an eye on your schools.

That anti-aircraft stuff was some of our (U.S.) best and most advanced ADA (Anti Aircraft Artillery) missile system of that time. Called the Stinger ManPADS System. Which basically stopped the advancement of the Soviet Unions Army in its tracks and turned the tide of that war in favor of the Mujaheddin fighters in Afghanistan. .

I appreciate that, Jerry. I’m not of the military….many male members of my immediate and extended family were, but I got most of what I learned about that time from books and seeing video of the muzzies shooting the missiles.
I certainly don’t claim to be an expert on the matter, so thanks for your first hand experience.

It’s high time CAIR – as this country’s branch of Hamas – was banned. After 9/11, a number of organizations, such as the Holy Land Foundation, were banned for funneling money to Hamas. There is no reason CAIR should get any lighter treatment

First, that CAIR would print anything favorable about Osama bin Laden, however mild, is worse than bad judgment; it’s an affront against ethics the basic clear difference between good and evil.
Second, part of that CAIR curriculum described the 19 Islamic villains who hijacked those planes and created mass murder and destruction on September 11, 2001, as a “group self-identifying as Al Qaeda.” It would have been more honest and keeping with reality for it to print, “The Muslim terrorists of the Islamic terror/ murder entity know as al Qaeda …”
Third, many Americans still haven’t yet learned and likewise come to understand those jihadist mass- murder Islamic terror attacks which occurred on September 11, 2001, had been actual Qu ‘ran based jihad terrorist attacks.

The Quran also teaches in Sura 9:123 to that jihad –minded Muslims behavior towards non-Muslims “let them find harshness in you…” Those Islamic attacks on 9/11 were indeed very “harsh.” As Sura 2:191 instructs “kill the disbeliever wherever you find them.” That’s a very strange kind of “peaceful religion” if there ever was one.
Just to site one more out on many from the Qu ‘ran about the instruction of deadly violence is Sura 47:4. Which instructs “Whenever you encounter unbelievers strike off their heads until you make a great slaughter among them …” The terrible harsh reality is that using jet planes as missiles as those jihadist/ Muslims did of September 11, sure made a greater “slaughter among them” than sword can.
The American people to the actual deadly nature of Islam before it’s too late.

CAIR might actually like Osama Bod Laden, but the facts remain on those brave and heroic Navy SEALs on May 2, 2011, those brave and heroic Navy SEALs exterminated that jihad chief, top dog, of al Qaeda, many evils bid Laden masterminded of 9/11 had come around back upon him when he was eliminating 4/4/11 .
On the day of September 11, 2001, that was the murderous and destructive jihad attacks were “successful,” all he could be is sit around and grin.
Later, then it all came down back on him on May 2, 2011 , he was no longer grinning the report was that “he look frighten and confused.”
Then after bin Laden’s elimination he was buried at sea. There had been by Muslim clerics, such as the imams ,who had the gall they complain the bin laden did not revived and proper Islamic burial because he was buried in the ocean and all Muslim according to Islamic tradition. For Muslims are buried under the ground and not at sea.
To that outlandish statement, made by the Muslim clerics may be answered in in two complementary ways.
First, the sea burial that bin Laden received was a lot more dignified and respectful them Bin Laden deserved since the many of the victims of murderous affront had that occurred on September 11, 2001.. Many of the people who were murdered on 9/11 only had a few bones and teeth left. In contrast, the body of Bin laden was buried mostly intact.
Second, after 9/11 many Muslim apologists for Islam, in America, many times had made the claim that Osama bin Laden was not a real Muslim and that he just “Hijacked the peaceful religion of Islam “ for “politics.” If that’s actually the case and not some kind of cover-up to hide the truth from the American public then all those Muslim clerics really had nothing to complain about if that claim is true that bin Laden was not a “real Muslim.”

There is a law that was passed in 1954, and has not been ruled against by the U.S. SCOTUS making it Unconstitutional. And it prevents the Communist party from ruling in the U.S.A.. A law similar to that law can be made to stop the use or practice of forcing Sharia Law on individuals in the United States. Being that Sharia Law is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution and our Bill of Rights.
But it wont happen unless We the People stand up and demand a law be passed to stop the advancement of Islamic Sharia Law. And by passing a law like that will stop Sharia Law from being practice or implemented in the U.S.A. is a good start in stopping Islamic advances in conquering our nation.
Now some will say that it is against the 1st Amendment’s freedom of Religion Clause to pass such a law. But I say it is not Because there is a difference in practicing or speaking, and implementation by force of a Religion or Religious acts on believes and nonbelievers. I cannot force you to get baptized against your will. So Sharia law should not be allowed to be forced on anyone against their will.
If a Muslim wishes to practice Sharia in his own life, he or she can so. But if a Muslim wishes to force Sharia Law to be practiced on other Individuals, than that is when it becomes against the Constitutions 1st Amendment Right to no practice their religion.
And it would not stop individuals to practice our own Religion and freely associate with others of like mind or believes. But would stop the forcing of the practice of a Religion on others against their will.

No-one who justifies terrorism should have any input into the education of young people, whether children or university students. That includes Qatari funding of universities.
