The war in Gaza may soon be winding down, but the war against Israel and Jews won’t stop. A coordinated wave of boycotts, disinvitations, and street intimidation continues to target Israel and Jewish communities across Europe, North America, and Australia.

President Donald Trump is working to secure the release of 48 Israeli hostages, including the return of the dead and the barely living. We pray during this season of Jewish High Holy Days and the festival of Sukkot that his efforts will soon succeed.
The US president has backing for a 21-point plan to address the “day after” in Gaza and across the region, with key Arab and Muslim leaders supporting a framework that seeks to reconstitute Gaza without Hamas terrorists.
While we welcome any plan that prioritizes reconstruction over war, it is brutally clear that the war against the Jews will not end soon.
Demonization of Israel, Jews, and core Jewish values—including Zionism—continues to spread across nations, international justice venues, university campuses, airports and ports, cultural institutions, and sports arenas. Every insult, every call for a boycott, and every violent act against Jews at prayer is legitimized and amplified across social media.
How bad could it get? Just days before the murderous Yom Kippur attack on a Manchester synagogue, CRIF—the official body of French Jewry—released a poll whose ominous findings reveal a growing black hole of Jew-hatred. Nearly one in three young French citizens (18–24) considers it legitimate to target Jews because of Gaza. Almost one in five French people overall share this view.
In apparent anticipation of charges of antisemitism, 68% of respondents recognized that antisemitism is a threat to society as a whole. Words condemning antisemitism in theory do nothing to protect Jews in practice. Jews across the UK and around the world were angered by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s hollow condemnation of the Yom Kippur attack, even as he and the mayors of London and Manchester did nothing to block pro-Hamas demonstrations held less than two hours after the synagogue attack. Taking their cues from political leaders, police in many European capitals stand idly by as genocidal chants echo on their streets.
Nor is it lost on Jewish residents of Amsterdam—still reeling from the violent, coordinated attack against Israeli sports fans who traveled to the city where Anne Frank hid to enjoy a “friendly” football match—that the mayor was a no-show at an event marking two years since Israeli hostages were beaten and dragged into underground Gaza dungeons….
Even if the Gaza War ends with Hamas stripped of its weaponry, and the nightly news at last carries interviews with Gazans, no longer afraid, denouncing Hamas for its brutality, the anti-Israel crowds that spew their venom around the world will — for a while — continue to do so. Those who support Israel, and want to change the minds of so many who have been parroting Hamas talking points, have in front of them a long long trail a-winding. But they must not falter nor fail. If they keep at it, answering every falsehood with sober facts, by dint of that determined repetition, eventually the truth will out. Israel will recover its prewar standing. And those who have maligned Israelis as “Nazis” committing “genocide” in Gaza will have to keep quiet.

We need an official, good quality English translation of Jacques Ellul’s powerful work, “Un Chretien Pour Israel”.
We need, in particular, a translation of the chapter of that work that discusses the anti-Israel propaganda campaign, that was undertaken not only by the Soviets but by the mohammedans, and probably mostly funded by petrodollars.
Ellul absolutely eviscerates the propaganda; in particular, his analysis of the way the news media presented the war in Lebanon in the late 1970s/ early 1980s could read, unaltered, as an account of all subsequent presentation of Israel’s wars of self-defence, including the latest, in Gaza.
He analysed the original PA Charter, clause by clause and concluded that it was ‘a perfect expression of the Jihad”. I don’t know whether a translation of the Hamas Charter had become available, before Ellul died; but i have no doubt what his conclusions would have been, because it is much more obviously, openly Islamic supremacist in language and tone.
And the point that can be made, hammered home, is this: that Ellul was not some ignorant redneck from flyover country. He was a complex French intellectual and scholar of law and institutions; and he ALSO knew exactly what propaganda was, he wrote a book about it! If he says that the Israelis are hopeless at propaganda (which he does) and if he also states that the propaganda was coming – masses of it – from the ANTI-Israel side, then.. his judgement carries considerable weight. In a way, his book ‘Un Chretien Pour Israel’ can be seen as a clinical case study, functioning as a companion piece to his sociological work ‘Propagandes’.
And he knew Islam. He knew what Jihad and dhimmitude were; he was friends with Bat Yeor, who pioneered in critical history of dhimmitude (work later built upon and extended by Australian scholar Mark Durie).

The need for Israel’s, and our, ability to effectively counter the tsunami of Islamic propaganda is extremely important. Thank you for revealing the existence of Mr. Ellul’s work to us. I hope that the Israeli soldiers who kept coming across copies of Mein Kampf, in Arabic, in ordinary homes the length and breadth of Gaza, have **kept count** of just how many they have found. I hope they’ve photographed every single one they’ve found, in situ.
Put all of that evidence together and rub people’s noses in it. Ask them: if you found this book in someone’s bedroom, what would you think? On a family bookshelf? Well, the bl**dy thing is all over Gaza! Those pure and innocent Gazan civilians you’ve been weeping and wailing over? they’ve been **reading Mein Kampf**! That’s the piece of western literature they’ve chosen to translate, chosen to read and study!

Islam allied with the Nazis in WWII. Grand Mufti, al-Husseini, of Jerusalem and Hitler had a mutual admiration for each other. “Mein Kampf” has been a best seller in Islamic countries ever since. Makes sense it would be frequently found in Gaza.

No, there is quite a handful of Congressional Dems who are virulently antisemitic, not just Ilhan and Rashida. There is AOC, Jayapal, Crockett,…. Just count the number of Dem congresspeople who boycotted Netanyahu’s address to Congress last year. That party has gone genuinely antisemitic
Sad fact is that there is a substantial antisemitic audience in the GOP as well, courtesy Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, MTG, Jack Posobiec, and some others in the MAGA movement. Not sure how much I want to consider self-identifying as MAGA or pro-MAGA under these circumstances

I support DJT MOST of the time. I spent over 20 years in a community which teaches “there are no perfect humans”. I think we are living Neville Chamberlain second edition. Chamberlain was overwhelmed with his delusional skill as a negotiator. He imagined he could tame the murderous and war-bent Hitler. When he returned from 1938 Munich waving his piece of paper signed by Hitler, proclaiming “There will be peace in our time”, Hitler was already planning the takeover of the rest of Czechoslovakia. The primary goal of all standard, orthodox Islam for 1400 years to this day is world conquest, especially the extermination of all Jews.
