A Murderer in Manchester, Or Nomen Est Omen

The murderer who just outside a synagogue in Manchester, England stabbed one Jewish man to death and killed another by ramming him with his car was Jihad al-Shamie, a 35-year-old Syrian national and British citizen. Nomen est omen.

He had help. The police have arrested three others, two men in their 30s and a woman in her sixties, presumably accomplices in this act of antisemitic terrorism. The attack may have been prompted by ISIS’ call on September 18 for Muslims everywhere to slaughter Christians and Jews. Had Jihad Al-Shamie survived, he could have provided the same excuse that so many Nazi killers proffered, that he was “just following orders.” Orders from whom? Oh, orders from ISIS, from Muhammad, from Allah himself.

The names of those three have not been released. Shall we guess the name of one of the men? I’m going to go out on a limb here: Muhammad, Mohamed, Ahmed, Ahmad, Mahmoud, Mahmood.

Oh dear. What can the matter be? Why do I make such assumptions? Why am I so Islamophobic?

    Remember, we celebrate diversity and they make Britain a better place.
    If he had survived we could have made him Prime Minister !

      And in case our lords and masters in the UK are reading this, I’d just like to reiterate, as ever when things like this take place, how will this affect all those poor muslims?

      That is always the most important thing.

      • Thanks Westman, I did not realise he was on bail for rape. They certainly would have made him Prime Minister if he had survived. I mock the left, it is why I am not in jail. When a piece of shit is allowed into the country who rapes and murders you mock them and tell them how he made Britain a better place.
        How you celebrate diversity and anyone who thought it was a bad idea to let him in is a greasy Islamophobe. The left hates mockery. Some people don’t understand Irony.

  2. Believe it or not, there are Christians from Lebanon and maybe elsewhere in the ME named Jihad. Some years ago, after an altercation with a Muslim manager at a BP station in New Jersey (he tried to shortchange me after a purchase), I spoke to another employee, demanding the station owner’s name and phone number. The employee nervously gave me the information out of earshot, telling me that all the other employees were Lebanese Christians and intimidated by the shift manager. I noticed that they all wore name tags, and one of them was named Jihad(!). I pointed this out to the employee, who insisted that Jihad was indeed a Christian, and that Jihad was not an uncommon name among Christians in Lebanon. I was skeptical, but did a little research when I got home and the written sources I consulted corroborated this claim. Strange, indeed.

  3. The police have confirmed that they shot two of the victims…one died…who attempted to keep the door shut against the muzzie murderer. They say the muzzie didn’t have a gun, but the victims had gunshot wounds.

    As long as there is a devout muzzie, there will be terror based on the lies of islime. No matter by what names the devout are called.

      How can the officers involved come to terms with that?

      It perhaps makes a case for all UK citizens to be permitted to carry a pistol to at least be able to protect themselves.
      In this case armed police were on scene within minutes.
      In a rural area that could be half an hour or more.

      A lot can happen in half an hour…..

      • Eddie, unless the officers are of the muzzie variety, they likely will have a lot of regret.

        Citizens should be allowed to carry protection, especially in these times when islime is on the rise everywhere and adherents feel so emboldened and increasingly violent.

        I read that it took only a few minutes for the police to arrive, but many could be wounded or killed in just a few minutes. And as you write, “a lot can happen in half an hour.”

  5. Believe it or not, but apparently in Belgium there’s a woman named (and I am not kidding) Jihad Van Puymbroeck.

    And guess what ? She calls herself a “communications strategist specializing in inclusion and anti-racism with a passion for social profit and media”. She is de facto an ‘anti-racist’ woke activist of partial Moroccan descent via her mother.

  6. I blame the parents for these murders as much as I blame the assailant. With a name like Jihad there is no doubt this was someone who had been nurtured to hate instead of to love. His father made a statement on which he said, “The al-Shamie family in the UK and abroad strongly condemns this heinous act, which targeted peaceful, innocent civilians. We fully distance ourselves from this attack, and express our deep shock and sorrow over what has happened. Our hearts and thoughts are with the victims and their families, and we pray for their strength and comfort. We kindly request that all media outlets respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time and refrain from using this tragic event in any context that does not reflect the truth. May God have mercy on the innocent victims, and we pray for the swift recovery of the injured.” Personally I don’t believe a word he’s written here, I believe it’s a load of bloody bullshit. The only bit that I do believe is when he says, “we fully distance ourselves from this attack,” yeah I can believe that because he’s a surgeon and it might have repercussions. The father also praised the Oct 7 Hamas terrorist’s as “Allah’s men on earth.” When you have a father like this it’s no wonder the son has turned out to be the way he is.
