The Democratic Socialist — really, the Communist and Islamic supremacist — Zohran Mamdani, has reissued his threat that, if he is elected mayor of New York, and Benjamin Netanyahu should appear in the city, he would not hesitate to arrest him. More on Mamdani’s threat, and other unpleasant promises that he has made, can be found here: “Mamdani Promises to Violate International and Federal Law to Arrest Netanyahu,” by Daniel Pomerantz, Algemeiner, September 26, 2025:
Is New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani preparing to violate international law, as well as US Federal law?
It’s well known that the candidate has promised to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which he justifies by saying that this will make New York “consistent with international law.”
The shocking truth is that doing so will actually violate the very laws and moral principles Mamdani claims to uphold.
In November of last year, in an absurd and politically motivated decision, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued international arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
Some countries, such as the Netherlands, Ireland, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, and Canada, enthusiastically announced their intention to arrest the Israeli leaders if given the opportunity.
Others, such as Italy, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Fran
ce, and Argentina have rejected the arrest warrants, while some, such as the United States, both rejected the warrants and also strongly condemned the ICC decision. Then-US President Joe Biden condemned the warrants as “outrageous,” while current President Donald Trump went even farther, slapping sanctions on the ICC.
This consistent bipartisan reaction should not be surprising: despite its misleading name, the International Criminal “Court” is not actually a court at all, but a political body, formed in 2002 by a treaty called the Rome Statute. Even as far back as the drafting of this treaty in the late 1990s, numerous countries, including the United States and Israel, concluded (correctly) that the Rome Statute would be eventually abused for political agendas, and therefore refused to sign.
Yet America went even farther: understanding that the ICC could be a dangerous political weapon, Congress passed a bipartisan law in 2002 called the American Servicemembers’ Protection Act (ASPA). The Act not only prohibits the United States and all American government bodies from cooperating with the ICC, but also calls on Washington to defend US service members and US allies against the ICC. Therefore, any attempt by the City of New York to enforce an ICC arrest warrant would be a direct violation of Federal law, and potentially subject to Federal prosecution.
Mamdani’s misguided promise to enforce a foreign treaty that does not even include the United States, would violate not only US Federal law, but international law as well….
Mamdani lacks the authority to arrest Netanyahu. That is strictly a matter for the federal government. He needs a refresher course in the U.S. Constitution.
Legal procedure aside, the accusation against Israel itself is preposterous: that the Jewish State is intentionally depriving Gaza’s residents of food and other basic needs as a weapon of war. In truth, Israel is delivering unprecedented quantities of food, medicine, humanitarian aid, vaccination campaigns, medical services and more — a reality that is confirmed by:
- Israeli data;
- A detailed and internationally peer reviewed academic study; and by
- RealityCheck and America’s Central Intelligence Agency, in a study which reveals that Gaza has among the fastest growing populations in the world, a reality which is inconsistent with claims of depravation….
Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, Israel has facilitated the delivery of two million tons of food and other humanitarian aid. And just since May, the Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has delivered 175 million meals to people in Gaza.
So why is candidate Mamdani promoting such a bizarre, immoral, and illegal political agenda?…
Why? Because he’s a True Believer in Islam, with a deep and abiding hatred of Israel, and Mamdani will stop at nothing to promote the former and harm the latter.
New Yorkers were asked about Mamdani’s calls for boycotting Israel, as well as his statements that many consider to be support for violence against Jews: over a third of New Yorkers, including almost 60% of likely Mamdani voters, said these statements will make them more likely to vote for him; over 40% declared those statements will make them “much more likely” to vote for him.
In other words, New Yorkers support Mamdani not in spite of his most disturbing, illegal, and antisemitic ideologies — but precisely because of them. Or in modern tech slang: it’s not a bug, it’s a feature: even when the feature violates US Federal law, international law, human morality, and basic common sense.
These results are horrifying. In New York, the city with the greatest Jewish population in the world, a third of voters support Mamdani not in spite of, but because of his anti-Israel stance, including his intention to enforce a boycott of Israel, beginning with ending all investments by the city in Israeli bonds and companies, his remarks denouncing Israel for “genocide,” and his apparent willingness to justify Hamas’ kidnapping of hostages. He has also called for the American government to restrict weapons sold to Israel. That is, he would render the Jewish state militarily vulnerable at the very moment when it is fighting a seven-front war for its very survival. He has refused to accept Israel’s own definition of itself as a “Jewish state.” Apparently he has no trouble with the 22 Arab states that define themselves as “Arab.” He has said that he would refuse to visit Israel as mayor. During the campaign, Mamdani declined to co-sponsor a resolution in the state assembly recognizing Israel’s independence because he disagreed with language stating that the country “continues to strive for peace.”
What is to be done? People, including many Jewish voters, have taken leave of their senses, or been brainwashed by the incessant media campaign against Israel, to support such a man. Perhaps the best one can hope for is that Mamdani will become the mayor, but will soon make such a complete mess of things that he will promptly lose popular support, and govern fitfully until he is finally put out of office in the next election, after which he can no doubt find employment as a talking head on Al Jazeera.

Just one of many ways the dam muzzie mani demonstrates that he should not even be in the running for any political office in the U.S., much less, to actually hold an office of authority in the U.S.
If elected, he will do a lot of damage to a lot of people. We all know here just what his intentions are and none of them are good intentions.
One thing muzzies have made abundantly clear: they may **use** the Laws for their own ends, but they have no respect (and in his case, knowledge) for the Laws that govern the actions of American citizens and therefore, do not abide by those which would limit what they want (and intend) to do.

On top of which Mamdani has NEVER ran anything but his mouth. Just what in the hell are his qualifications to manage an organization the size of New York City? He has ZERO experience in management.

The people knowingly know what a vote for him is. if they vote for him they also are in the wrong. Our people are getting more and more stupid everyday. How did this happen.? They must like to see others picked upon and they feel so so good it is not them. But you might be next.

If he does win the Mayoralty of New York, the most important job for Mamdani will not be Mayor but an operative for Hamas and he will steal NY taxpayers blind and manage to get that money to Hamas and other terrorist entities. He has many cohorts, like CAIR, which can take care of that money smuggling and money laundering.

Another Muslim will use Western Laws with discrimination, segregation violence, and terrorism against Non-Muslims as taught in Islam’s Quran(Quran 9:5, 29, 111, etc.).
Allah’s cursed Islam, a CRIMINAL-TERRORIST ENTERPRISE and a MURDEROUS-DEMONIC CULT OF BELIEVERS, Terrorist Muslim Soldiers for Allah, continually fund, promote, and practice ideological subversion, propaganda, bigotry, discrimination, deceit, industrial-scale slavery, human trafficking, intimidation, supremacy, segregation, hatred, incitement to violence, criminality, genocide, victimhood, censorship, and terrorism as taught in Islamic Law, Sharia, and in Islam’s Quran(Quran 5:14,35; 8:60; 9:41, 88, etc.).
As taught by Allah, Muslims are terrorists for Allah. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 states, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”
Allah in Quran 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.” MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.”

Deeply unfortunately, the majority of voting people in New York City will almost certainly be both morally deficient enough and stupid enough to elect this cretin. I have loathed NYC since I first visited it when in high school and have been there many, many times since (always because for one reason or another I had to be) and never have I found a reason to reverse my initial hate-at-first sight determination. And now this which only adds to my loathing for this blight upon America. If someone detests NYC more than I do I would like to come across that person so that I could learn. I don’t believe in this statement of mine I can be accused of any ambiguity respecting this matter.
PMK says
Wellington,
Manhattan is not all there is to NYC. Staten Islanders wish they could break away from the radicals in Manhattan. Middle class workers who could afford to left the city long ago. It’s not the only city Dems have corrupted. After four years of David Dinkins, NYC voters chose Rudy Giuliani, but that was more than thirty years ago. Mamdani is likely to win, unfortunately. It will prove one thing: you can’t save people from themselves. All of NYC will have to live with the consequences of his election.
Wellington says
I’m quite aware, PMK, that NYC is made up of five boroughs (also they are 5 of New York’s 62 counties). Manhattan (New York County) is the worst of the five and why I long ago starting calling it “the Isle of Fools.” But three others (Queens/Queens County), Brooklyn/Kings County), (the Bronx/ Bronx County) are still bad enough and loaded with foolish Democrats (excuse the redundancy). Staten Island (Richmond/Richmond County) is the only somewhat sane of the five parts of NYC and has made efforts, as you noted, to detach itself from NYC. Meanwhile, much of the rest of the state of New York (all “upstate” as the term goes) is utterly sick of NYC and would dearly love to be rid of it (much like most of Pennsylvania would like to be rid of Philadelphia which is regularly termed “Filthydelphia” by many Pennsylvanians). In this historic bastion of the Democratic Party stupidity and disloyalty has been a regular feature of Manhattan especially (e.g., during the Civil War it was very anti-Lincoln and pro-Copperhead). Ironically, it is quite arguable that in this Democratic stronghold its two greatest mayors were both Republicans—LaGuardia and Giuliani.
In any case, I got my fill of NYC long ago and if any city in America demonstrates the truth of what Thomas Jefferson said of cities, to wit, that they are the breeding ground of filth, pessimism and many other negatives, it’s NYC. I loathe it and it is now on the verge of electing a Muslim Marxist as its next mayor.

How does he plan to arrest Netanyahu? In person, or will he order police to do so? And will any NYPD actually follow illegal orders?

Once one realizes that Zohran Mamdani is a communist jihadi, everything else falls into place.

Spot on, James.

Thanks, gravenimage.

I wonder if the NYPD would follow his order?
Kosh's Shadow says
There might be a small number who would. But anyone who tried would eventually regret it because it is a federal crime.

If Mamdani is able to arrest Netanyahu,Netanyahu would mysteriously behead himself in Jail. Pray for my friend Pastor Brian Kelly. He has church and street ministry in NYC which will be persecuted under the Jihadi mayor.

You can vote Muslims in but you can’t vote them out. Same with communists. In Zohran’s case you have a communist Muslim. Tayyip Erdogan, prime minister of Turkey explained: Democracy is like a train. “You ride it until you arrive at your destination, then you step off.”
Taffy says
Hopefully, Mamdani will make good on his attempted threat.
18 U.S.C. § 878 — Threats and extortion against foreign officials, official guests, or internationally protected persons.
This statute makes it a federal crime to:
• Assault, strike, wound, imprison, or offer or threaten to kidnap or murder a foreign official, official guest, or internationally protected person.
• Attempt or conspire to do so.
So the relevant section for threatening to kidnap a foreign dignitary is 18 U.S.C. § 878(a)(1).
Under 18 U.S.C. § 878(b), the punishment is:
”…imprisoned not more than three years, fined under this title, or both.”
So:
• Threatening to kidnap a foreign dignitary → up to 3 years in federal prison, a fine, or both.
• If the act goes beyond just a threat (e.g., an actual assault or kidnapping attempt), harsher statutes apply (such as 18 U.S.C. § 1201 for kidnapping, which carries up to life imprisonment).
This is the perfect opportunity for Trump to ensure that Mamdani is never elected as mayor. The Department of justice has good grounds to charge. Mamdani under the law, and all his time before the 2026 election will be spent defending himself in federal court against these charges. Furthermore, a conviction is highly likely, which represents another three years in the federal slammer slammer. Even if a bleeding hard jury acquits, his chances of becoming mayor evaporate.

Zohran Mamdani is a “radical Islamist megalomaniac” if I may quote the U.S. DNI Tulsi Gabbard of her most accurate description of Erdogan!
Mamdani’s troglodyte Islamist, Christianophobic and Semitophobic views will divide New York and the country. He is anathema to Democracy itself and aims to use Sharia law, when enough “wokes” have been gaslighted, and destory of America what little identity has been left in it as “American”.
Mamdani is a danger to American society and a Warrant should be out for his many hatred-driven narratives that threaten Jews and Christians in New York!
Arrest Mamdani and send him to Sultan Erdogan’s palace via the “Midnight Express” (won Oscar on a true story of an American arrested in Istanbul!) Or a one-way ticket to Doha! Either will be a blessing for New York. This young neanderthal Jihadist does not belong in politics–but in jail.

He looks like Hitler.
And it looks like he will get elected.

New York will soon have Sharia Law! Hope the feminists and the “woke” crowd feels a lot safer! Perhaps a deal with Doha or Ankara for exchange students from “diverse” groups?
I can see the day that Mamdani is arrested for Christinaophobia and Semitophobia! But, wait, is it only “Islamophobia” that someone can be charged with?!
