Trump to Europe at UN: ‘Your countries are going to hell’

In an historic speech today at the United Nations, President Donald Trump called them all out: the globalists, the socialists, the internationalists, the drug traffickers, the Sharia purveyors, the jihadists, and more: the whole of the leftist elite class that is doing all it can to impose the darkness of totalitarianism upon the world.

The petty tyrants struck back in the pettiest of ways, cutting off the escalator as he and the First Lady were going up, and cutting off his teleprompter as he began to speak. He was unfazed, and took public note of their pettiness. This was Trump at his best: unruffled, defiant, unafraid, unintimidated, focused on protecting the freedom and the well-being of the American people. He told them the way to restore liberty and prosperity to their countries. They could follow him, and attain that liberty and prosperity. Instead, they will fulminate against him and keep leading their countries to hell.

What to know about President Trump’s U.N. speech and today’s meetings

  • President Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, the 80th anniversary of the world body.
  • The president criticized European allies over green energy, immigration and other issues. Mr. Trump also blasted the U.N. as a whole, asking, “What is the purpose of the United Nations?”
  • Dozens of other world leaders are also in town to give speeches and hold meetings at this year’s General Assembly session, including U.S. allies as well as foes, like the president of Iran.
  • After several key Western allies of the United States announced before the U.N. General Assembly meeting that they are formally recognizing a Palestinian state, Mr. Trump said that would embolden Hamas. “The rewards would be too great,” Mr. Trump said, adding, “Instead of giving in to Hamas’ ransom demands, those who want peace should be united with one message: Release the hostages now.”
  • Mr. Trump said the prolonged war in Ukraine is making Russia “look bad,” saying it was supposed to be “just a quick little skirmish.”

Trump says U.S. is “behind the United Nations 100%”

After heavily criticizing the U.N. during his speech minutes before, Mr. Trump said during a meeting with U.N. Secretary General  António Guterres that the U.S. is “behind the United Nations.”

“Our country is behind the United Nations 100%” he said. He thanked Guterras for “treating us so warmly” and saying the U.N. brings a great opportunity for peace.

“I may disagree with it sometimes but I am so behind it because I think the potential for peace for this institution is so great,” Mr. Trump said.

Only minutes before in his speech to the entire assembly, the president criticized the U.N. for not brokering the international peace deals for which the president takes credit.

“It’s too bad that I had to do these things instead of the United Nations doing them,” he said earlier. “… That being the case, what is the purpose of the United Nations?”

Mr. Trump again mentioned the faulty escalator at the U.N. and the temporarily broken teleprompter, saying those things made his visit “a little more exciting.”

For his part, Guterres said the U.S. is instrumental to the U.N. Guterres said the president has been traveling all over the world in an effort to make peace agreements.

“I want to reassure you that the United Nations … we are entirely at your disposal to be able to work together for a just peace,” Guterres said.

Trump encourages leaders to “defend free speech,” claims Christianity is the most persecuted religion

Mr. Trump urged other nations’ leaders to celebrate the principles upon which the U.S. was founded nearly 250 years ago, including free speech and religious liberty. The president’s comments come days after he said the licenses that enable television networks to air should perhaps be revoked over networks’ negative coverage of him.

The president also called Christianity the “most persecuted religion on the planet.”

“Together, let us defend free speech and free expression,” the president said. “Let us protect religious liberty including for the most persecuted religion on the planet today. It’s called Christianity.”…

Trump warns drug cartels: “We will blow you out of existence”

The president talked about how his administration is now using the “supreme power of the United States military” to pursue drug cartels near Venezuela. The U.S. has conducted strikes against three boats suspected of carrying drugs.

“To every terrorist thug smuggling poisonous drugs into the United States of America, please be warned that we will blow you out of existence,” the president said.

Trump slams “failed experiment of open borders,” saying “your countries are going to hell”

Mr. Trump railed against open borders, touting his administration’s efforts to restrict migration.

“It’s time to end the failed experiment of open borders,” the president said. “You have to end it now. See, I can tell you. I’m really good at this stuff. Your countries are going to hell.”

Mr. Trump said his administration has taken “bold” action to crack down on “uncontrolled migration.”

“Once we started detaining and deporting everyone who crossed the border and removing illegal aliens from the United States, they simply stopped coming,” he said. “They’re not coming anymore.”

Trump says “Hamas has rejected reasonable efforts to make peace”

After several key Western allies of the United States announced before the U.N. General Assembly meeting that they are formally recognizing a Palestinian state, Mr. Trump said that would be a “reward for these horrible atrocities, including October 7, even while they refuse to release the hostages or accept a ceasefire.”

Mr. Trump said Hamas has “repeatedly rejected reasonable efforts to make peace.”

“They’ve taken so much, this could have been solved long ago,” Mr. Trump said. “But instead of giving in to Hamas’ ransom demands, those who want peace should be united with one message: Release the hostages now.”

There was some applause as Mr. Trump said “we have got to get the hostages back.”

Hamas took 251 people hostage on Oct. 7, and 1,200 people were killed. Most of the hostages have been released through earlier deals, and Israel has said they believe there are 20 captives who are still alive.

“We want all 20 back,” Mr. Trump said. Alluding to prior deals that only released a few hostages at  a time, Mr. Trump said “we don’t want two and four.” Mr. Trump also said they also want the bodies returned of hostages who had died during the fighting or been killed by Hamas.

“Those parents came to me and they want them back,” Mr. Trump said.

Trump calls for end to development of biological and nuclear weapons

The president called for an end to the development of all biological and nuclear weapons.

“I look at weapons that are so powerful that we just can’t ever use them,” the president said. “If we ever use them, the world literally might come to an end. There would be no United Nations to be talking about. There would be no nothing.”

The president said he’d lead an international effort to stop manufacturing biological weapons and pioneer an AI verification system to that end.

Trump says the prolonged war in Ukraine is “not making Russia look good”

Mr. Trump said he’s been working “relentlessly” to stop the “killing” in Ukraine. He repeated that he expected Russia’s war in Ukraine to be easy to resolve. That the war is still going on more than three years later is making Russia “look bad,” he said.

“I thought that was going to be the easiest one but you know in war, you never know what’s going to happen,” Mr. Trump said. “There are always lots of surprises, both good and bad.”

“It was supposed to be just a quick little skirmish,” Mr. Trump continued. “It’s not making Russia look good. It’s making them look bad. No matter what happens from here on out, this was something that should have taken a matter of days, certainly less than a week, and they’ve been fighting for three and a half years.”

The president also said Europe needs to “immediately” cease all energy purchases from Russia. They’ll discuss the matter today with European nations, he said.

Trump laments losing bid for renovating UN building years ago

Mr. Trump, who was a real estate developer before he was elected president, complained that his offer to renovate the UN for $500 million, in the early 2000s, wasn’t accepted.

“I bid on the renovation and rebuilding of this very United Nations complex,” he said. “I remember it so well. I said at the time that I would do it for $500 million, rebuilding everything.”

“But they decided to go in another direction, which was much more expensive at the time” and produced a “far inferior product,” he added.

The president claimed he turned out to be right and there were massive cost overruns.

“As far as I’m concerned, frankly, looking at the building and getting stuck on the escalator, they still haven’t finished the job,” he said, telling world leaders that he and the first lady had gotten stuck on the U.N.’s escalator.

Trump asks “what is the purpose of the United Nations?”

Mr. Trump claimed he ended seven “unendable wars” because of the United States’ involvement in brokering agreements, saying the U.N. wasn’t there to help negotiate.

“It’s too bad that I had to do these things instead of the United Nations doing them,” the president said. “… That being the case, what is the purpose of the United Nations?”

Mr. Trump said he should win the Nobel Peace Prize, but a moment later said the real prize would be saving lives by bringing wars to a close sooner.

“What I care about is not winning prizes, it’s saving lives,” he said….

Trump says the teleprompter isn’t working so he’ll “speak from the heart”

The president took the stage, opening his remarks by saying the teleprompter wasn’t working.

“I don’t mind making this speech without a teleprompter, because the teleprompter is not working,” he said, to laughs. “I feel very happy to be up here with you nevertheless, and that way you speak more from the heart. I can only say that whoever is operating this teleprompter is in big trouble.”…

Remember in ’45 when the UN was first created? here were billboards everywhere you looked – “Get the UN out of the UNited States”). The people’s voice meant nothing then – just like now. Like Trump has said a FEW times, why do we need the UN (and a few other organizations,)?

  2. I detest Trump’s personality and frequent derogatory remarks about individuals …… BUT in this case, he is primarily a truth-teller that we should listen to. The UN is an anti-American and anti-Semitic organization while the US taxpayer pays many of its bills – WHY?

    • Trump makes a lot of low-ball comments aimed at people who usually deserve it. However, you know what you’ll never hear Trump say? “When they bring a knife we bring a gun” (Obama), threatening Supreme Court justices on the Court’s steps (Chuck Schumer), or screaming at her supporters to get in the face of Trump officials wherever you encounter them (Maxine Waters). And that’s just what’s comes to mind.

They dragged him through 4 false indictments, none of which stuck, convicting him of nonsense. He has won lawsuits against his detractors at ABC and others. The WAPO is next up.

        Trump drove up in a garbage truck and won the election. I could care less what he says about some of these people or the way he comports himself.

Ever notice how after 9/11 there was no string of mosques being burned down by Christians and/or Jews.   6. Yes. President Trump is right when he spoke at the United Nations to the nations of Europe when he said “Your countries are going to hell.” His state statement is tragic , sad but true.

    For those countries of Europe are entering into an Islamic hell.

    Just last year in the Christian brochure of the title Battle Cry , June 2024, it on page 8 in an article entitle “Europeans Call For A Return To Christian Root’s.”

    In it after going over a list of Christian values that some Europeans are now, rediscovering it further mentions concerning the different countries of Europe that have “Uncontrolled immigration that is bringing large numbers from the Middle East and Africa. Most of those who are coming with a heavy Muslim ideology. These are gaining a measure of control of local governments and are influencing polices that dampen fair debate, free speech, and the right of Christians to worship.”

    Such influence and “control of local governments” by Muslims political activists in the different nations of Europe has been termed by some scholars of Islam as the “Stealth Jihad.”

    In addition, one very good way to describe this twenty –first century “War of Ideas” is that of a great a conflict and a clash between Christianity and Islam. As explained by the Christian author, William Wagner,, in his book which is entitled HOW ISLAM PLANS TO CHANGE THE WORLD had explained on page 155 about a meeting that he had with a Muslim cleric , which reads “Several years ago one Imam told me that ,prior to 1990, the greatest enemy to Islam was Communism but now it is the Christian missions.” Further, on page 208 the Wagner had written about some zealous Muslims that “They have failed to stop Christian missions. They see Christian missions as their number one enemy.” On the next page the reader is informed that “Christianity remains the number one buffer against Islam, a fact readily recognized by those who seek a world wild ummah.” [1]

    Moreover, in that same it also informs its realer “Since the stealth jihad is more advance in Europe then in the United States, the situation there is more dire….Muslims are accomplishing today what they have tried but failed to do for over a millennium: conquer Europe.” page. 195

  7. A question posed in the title of an earlier jihadwatch.org article about the jihad- -denying Islam supporting government leftist leaders who members of European Union are.

    One scholar and former Muslim had exposed the reason why that leader of Western countries are so terribly weak and have “caved in” is because that the “Muslim infiltration in the Western nations by Muslim migrates and the use of the militant jihad the stealth jihad.” [1]

    To this end the stealth jihadists will and do use the Islamic of Taqiyya, which the method of speaks and printing lies that are very deception for the advancement of Islam and its Sharia.

    As explained in a more detail by a former Muslim and Hezbollah member who now a Christian .In his book he reveals” Lying , treachery and deception became Islam’s key tactics in conquering others. Those tactics are gathered in a doctrinal statement called “Taqiyya” which is one of the most effective arms for the spread of Islam. It means “Holy Deception” which means the use of every lie you can in order to spread Islam or to win the war against the enemy.” [2]

    Western countries is the means that known and called the “Stealth jihad.” By this technique the Muslims who are the stealth jihadists are able to infiltrate the different nations of the West and gradually.

    This Muslim scheme for achieving the goal of the Islamic agenda is as, many times, as subtly effective as it is demonically clever. In some ways, is very similar to the instruction printed in the book entitled THE ART OF WAR by Sun Tzu. Which reads, “At first, then, exhibit the coyness of a maiden, until the enemy gives you an opening; afterwards emulate the rapidity of a running hare, and it will be too late for the enemy to oppose you.”

  8. Wow ! President Trump was right on the mark in what he said about the countries of Europe.

    There may be many reasons why the jihad – denying Islam -supporting European in governmental power of the left is so terrible may be that they are naively ignorant of the violent and deadly instructions that the Qur ‘ an has for devout are to engage for the advancement of Islam , as in for example, Surah 2:191, 9;5, 123. 47:4.

    On the other hand. it might be that they are aware of such passages in the Qur ‘an but they don’t really think that Muslims take those Qur’ an verses seriously. European government left have the way of thinking that “Those Muslims don’t really believe those commands for violence and killing found in the Qur’ and take part in death infecting jihad violence. Just like we don’t really believe everything printed in the Bible. or follower the teachings of Jesus as when he taught if offended “Turn the other cheek. “

    Such a rationalization would mean that the have their politically correct blinders on, and are in strong denial about who thing really in “The House of Islam” So strong that denial is that they might have intentional ignorance about Muslim terrorist violence and deadly mayhem that jihadists Muslim commit for Islam.

    Another possibility is the stealth jihadist’s infiltration and influence politicians in the governments of the different countries of Europe. Part of stealth jihad influence those politicians’ taking bribes,” under the table’ from unofficial representatives from oil rich Arab Islamic nations, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

    Another answer to the question given in the title of this above, article had been provided by a former Muslim who wrote that “The Western government official s are afraid to speak the truth about Islam because they are fear that Muslims will be offended.” [1]

    That really means that such politicians must be weak men to refuse to speak the truth because some people might dislike hearing the truth spoken.
